Before we get into this week’s questions we would like to point out that you are helping to spread the Word of God by your continued submission of questions. Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. Question 1:

Name: Crystal
Question: During some research I came across many sources stating that the word amen is used in reference to the Egyptian sun god amen ra. It is further thought that the word amen was purposefully put into the bible to “trick” Christians into worshiping amen ra at the end of every prayer. I understand in hebrew it is simply an affirmation, so it is. Should this be a valid concern?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Crystal,

Thank you for the question. Christians can be tricked into a lot of things like anyone else, but this is not a valid concern and I will explain in a moment. The only “trick” Christians should be concerned about is Satan who will claim to be Jesus Christ, Satan is the false Messiah. Aside from that, from my understanding the Egyptian god you are referring to is “Amun-Ra,” not “Amen-Ra”.

Additionally, this was the combination of two separate god’s, “Amun” and “Ra”.
There are a lot of websites and people in the world that sure seem to put a lot of effort into making up non-sense and confusing people rather than teaching God’s Word like He asked us too. It almost makes you wonder what their true intentions are…

Crystal it sounds like you are aware of what the word “Amen” means, but we are going to cover it for everyone. “Amen” first appears in Numbers 5:22 and it is Strong’s word 543 meaning,

H543
אמן
‘âmên
aw-mane’
From H539; sure; abstractly faithfulness; adverbially truly: – Amen, so be it, truth.

So be it” or “truth”, as in of a truth with reference to the statement at hand. The base word is 539 as you can see and also has a similar meaning.

The final usage of the word “Amen” is the final word in the entire Bible which occurs in Revelation 22:21. How fitting to sum of the Bible with this word meaning the scriptures are of a “truth”, “so be it”!

Revelation 22:21 – “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

Question 2:

Name: No Name
Question: I know that it’s okay to meditate, but does God speak of the third eye or energy points; like those of “chi” or “chakras”?

Thank you for your time & consideration.

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question. Our Father YHVH does not speak about energy points of the body as you are referring too. We are spiritual beings in a flesh form in this earth age. When our Father speaks about meditation it is to focus on His Word and the spiritual aspect of things, never focusing on the flesh.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Joshua 1:8
8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

When we meditate it is not about focusing on our flesh bodies, but focusing on God and His Word. It is His Word that makes us prosperous, not necessarily in monetary gains, but more importantly in understanding His Word. When we gain that knowledge, when we build upon our spiritual education then we can share and spread with the world His most precious Word.

We would like to thank our Father for giving us this platform in order to spread His most precious Word. We would also like to thank our readers for submitting their questions and giving us the opportunity to share them with the audience.
