Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. Question 1:

Name: Cayla
Question: Should we as Christians take part in Lent?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: We should not take part in lent. Instead, we should be celebrating Passover, specifically what I will call Christian Passover to avoid confusion with the other passover. You can read about Passover here.

Question 2:

Name: Manny
Question: 1) Hello, does the two witnesses come just before Satan or during satans time here on earth?
2) The mark of the beast; is it implemented before Satan’s gets here or is it during his return. Thank You.

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Manny, thank you for the question. The Two Witnesses arrive after Satan steps foot on earth. Specifically, they arrive at the midst of the week. For documentation on that I am going to refer you to two past Bible Q&As where I thoroughly documented this.

Bible Q&A 9-12-14 – Concerning the Two Witnesses
Bible Q&A 3-28-14 – Concerning the Two Witnesses

Concerning the Mark of the Beast. You can read about this in Revelation 13. This mark is specifically mentioned in Revelation 13:14-17. Please read our study on this subject titled, “Mark of the Beast Revealed“.

Who is the Beast? There are two, one is Satan and the other is Satan’s one world Beast Government. Then what is the mark? Is is definitely not a physical mark as taught by mainstream Christianity. The mark is spiritually, but it does bare physical characteristics. The mark is quiet literally Satan’s lies and deception. Those who accept Satan and his Beast Government, those who have been deceived into believing Satan is Jesus Christ has effectively accepted this mark.

Question 3:

Name: Patty
Question: Would you please explain to me about Ash Wednesday and also direct me to where I can read about it in the Bible? Thank you

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: From my understanding this goes hand in hand with lent and these are all traditions of man, not traditions of God. We have a Bible study on the subject of easter if you wish to read it.

Question 4:

Name: Ed
Question: Holidays such as Christmas and Easter.

I looked into Christmas and found that it is surrounded in Paganism and
that most know that Christ was not born on this month so it only seems
right not to celebrate someones birthday if it is not on the correct month.
For that I discontinued the tradition but my family still wished to
celebrate it still. I tried to do gift giving on thanksgiving instead due to
no religious association to it. Plus can you celebrate Easter on Sunday
leaving the Bunnies and eggs out? Since Christ rose on the first day of the
week.Thanks for any help.

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: It is true December 25 is not the birth date of Christ. However, it is the day that Christ dwelt with man in the flesh as God placed Him into the womb of Mary on this day so it is still a very special day. The day Christ was born was September 29th. We have a couple past Bible Q&As on this subject for those interested.

Bible Q&A 11-21-14
Bible Q&A 11-7-14

I am not sure why you want to celebrate easter being that it is most definitely pagan in nature. Easter has been created in place of the day that we as Christians should be celebrating and that day is Passover Day which is the highest Holy Day in all of Christianity. It is the day that Christ rose from the dead paying the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, giving His life for ours.

It is on Passover Day that we should gather together and take communion to honor His sacrifice for us. To remember Him and thank Him for all He has done for us.
