New administration rule would permit thousands of eagle deaths at wind farms

WEB Notes: A classic example of those turning a blind eye for profit. I am a firm believer in treating everyone the same and we know God is not a respect of persons either (Romans 2:11). So why are these corporations getting away with these crimes? Yes crimes. There are laws on the books that protect the Bald and Golden Eagles. The offenses are punishable as follows:

“The 1972 amendments increased civil penalties for violating provisions of the Act to a maximum fine of $5,000 or one year imprisonment with $10,000 or not more than two years in prison for a second conviction. Felony convictions carry a maximum fine of $250,000 or two years of imprisonment. The fine doubles for an organization.”

Multitasking is actually kind of a problem — for kids and adults

WEB Notes: For those in the tech and office scene we have multiple monitors these days which allow us to “do more with less” as the saying goes. I think the employer is getting the better end of the deal, but so be it. With respect to text notifications mentioned below. People do feel they have to respond when it comes in. I noticed on our World Events and the Bible Facebook page there is a statistic for response time to messages which I thought was absurd. I do not monitor these things or feel pressured to answer a text that comes through on my phone either and neither should you.
