Bible Question and Answer
Question: Hi, bro Brandon, I just wonder if God in the 1st earth age, after Satan’s rebellion, put us all into 2nd earth age to test or give us opportunity to love Him back. Then, how about those souls being aborted and not given a chance to live.. Same as those children who died at the very young age. Are they the ones being deceived by Satan in the 1st earth age, the 1/3 of His created souls?
Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Aurora, thank you for the question.
For those not sure what The First Earth Age is or Satan’s Rebellion, I would encourage you to read the following studies;
You are correct Aurora in saying God created this age of flesh where mankind could be born innocent in order to make up their mind who they will follow, God or Satan. John 3:16 and Romans 10:9 seem to make this clear enough. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
In Hosea 6:6 our Father tells us He wants our love. So we should certainly express our love to Him and thank Him for creating us and being thankful for the blessings we have in life.
I do not believe aborted babies and those who die at a young age are solely those who followed Satan in The First Earth Age. Some of them may be, but we cannot make any rules like that. We simply cannot document it in the Word.
Remember, the point of this age of flesh is free will. To make up our mind who we are going to follow, God or Satan. Those who die before even having any understanding of the world, much less God cannot be held accountable by God. Some people make decisions to abort their child which is horrible, but the babies soul good or bad has no bearing on that.
Do not forget about the Millennium. Our Father is extremely fair and would never Judge someone without giving them a fair shot. Those who have passed on, babies, the young and those who never heard the Word of God will all have an opportunity to accept Him during the Millennium. It will be a great time of teaching (Revelation 20:4-6). If you ever wondered why it will be a time of teaching, now you know.
Concerning the 1/3, I would encourage you to read our study, “Satan’s Sin“. You will learn there were more than a 1/3 of the souls who followed Satan…
Question: Do you have an in-depth study and if not will you in reference to Jacob’s trouble, Daniels 70 weeks? I am more interested in the first half “3.5” year study, and how it begins and throughout this wilderness part. Thank you!
Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Jospeh and it is good to hear from you.
Considering your request, I encourage you to read our study, “The Timeline of the Tribulation“. This eight chapter, in-depth Bible study takes you through the events just prior to, during and just after the Tribulation of Satan. I recommend you take your time with the study. Say a prayer and start studying in the beginning with Chapter 1.
The following two chapters will really help you with what you are looking for;
- Chapter 5, “The Timing of Satan’s Appearance” covers the point in time (calendar specific) when Satan will appear on earth claiming to be Christ. Of course Satan is on earth for the entire Tribulation.
- Chapter 6, “The Hour of Temptation” covers the entire Tribulation. Please note the following subheadings for this chapter, “The Seventy Weeks of Daniel” should help you.
- The Seventy Weeks of Daniel
- The Five Month Tribulation
- The Final Week: The Tribulation of Satan
- The Image
You mentioned the “wilderness“. I am sure you are referring to Revelation 12…
We discuss “The Woman In the Wilderness” in Chapter 7 of this study. This occurs at the midst of the week, which is the middle of the Tribulation. The point in time when Satan makes war with the Saints (Revelation 13:7).
As of this writing Chapter 7 has not been released. We are doing our best to complete that work and once we do it will be made available on our site.
Question: Why were dinosaurs and other animals in the first earth age in flesh bodies, since we were in spiritual bodies during that same time? Did they kill and eat meat?
Name: Brandon T. Ward & WEB Staff
Answer: Olive thank you for the question.
It is not written why animals existed in the flesh during The First Earth Age. They certainly ate meat, saber tooth tigers are a great example of that. They had very sharp teeth which would have been used to eat the flesh of other animals, just like today.
We would like to offer an opinion concerning the rest of your question.
In The First Earth Age we know mankind lived in their true bodies which never die. While mankind could see the animals die at the hand of another creature, would the people be able to relate to death and truly understand it?
I do not think so.
There is no doubt in my mind that God told the people if they followed Satan they would die in The First Earth Age, but again, the people really could not relate to death at a personal level.
After the rebellion of Satan our Father created us in the flesh here on earth. We feel one of the reasons God did that was in order to provide us with a true understanding of death. Think about it, we see our family and friends die and then one day we pass away as well. While we all can and should have great lives on earth, there is much sickness and of course death in this world. All of this provides us with a great example of what death is, what it feels like and what it brings, that is misery.
Our Father giving us a taste of death seems like the best way to get the point across. When we think about it like this, it is easy to see why God provided us with two options once again… Follow Him and have Eternal Life, or follow Satan and perish.
We would like to thank our Father for giving us this platform in order to spread His most precious Word. We would also like to thank our readers for submitting their questions and giving us the opportunity to share them with the audience.
