Bible Verse of the Day

Bible Verse of the Day

Matthew 5:11-12

“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”

We need to cover verse 10 as well, “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

When we are persecuted for the sake of Christ, that is a true blessing. During these times in our life, we need to ensure we stand tall and strong for Him. We can and should pray during those times, asking Him to help keep us strong in faith and spirit.

There is a time coming, the Tribulation of Satan when Satan will be on earth, the time when he will persecuted the Saints for not accepting and worshiping him as God. The entire world will essentially persecute the Saints for their refusal to accept Satan as God.

It will not be an easy time, but we can overcome and we will (Revelation 12:11).
