WEB Notes: These are some of the few nations who are not under the control of the globalists. I am sure Cuba escaped this list as back room deals have apparently been made as the U.S. and Cuba have restored diplomatic ties after more than 60 years a part. (“How easing federal bank rules helps consumers,” Readers React, Dec. 14)

As a reminder, when the financial industry imploded in 2008, Congress had to pass a special law to fund a $700-billion bailout, of which nearly $250 billion went directly to the largest banking firms. The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. had nowhere near enough resources to fund their resolution.

IRS warns of possible shutdown

WEB Notes: It sounds like the operating cost of the IRS is $29,000,000 tax payer dollars a day. Why not leave it shut?

(Source: Politico) – The IRS is considering its own temporary shutdown due to recent budget cuts enacted by Congress, its chief said Thursday.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen said furloughs — forced unpaid days off for employees as part of an IRS closure — is one idea reluctantly being tossed about to save money, though they are hoping they will not have to go there.
