Welcome to our bi-weekly post Bible Question, Answer and Discussion where we provide Bible verses, answers and advice to the questions and concerns you have. During the course of the last two weeks readers have submitted their questions and today we are going to answer some of them. So please join us and feel free to chime in on the discussion in the comments section below this post.
Before we get into this week’s questions we would like to point out that you are helping to spread the Word of God by your continued submission of questions. Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. So if you have a Biblical or non-Biblical question you would like to ask, submit it now for our next edition of “Bible: Question, Answer and Discussion“.
Question: What does God do to those that commit suicide?
Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Janelle.
I think that is a question only God can answer and I am sure it would be on an individual basis. We do know it is a sin to commit murder and committing suicide is murdering yourself (Exodus 20:13).
However, when someone commits suicide there mental condition is not stable. Other conditions and factors like drugs and alcohol alter the frame of mind so the decision to take ones life is not made with a clear head.
One thing is for certain Janelle, our Father is completely fair and I trust that He will make the correct judgement (Psalm 25:8-10, Deuteronomy 32:4, Proverbs 16:11).
Question: Who are Gog and Magog? If it’s supposed to be Russia that doesn’t make sense to me being that Putin is a Christian and Obama is not. My opinion. Aren’t we supposed to be Biblical allies with Russia?
Name: Brandon T. Ward & WEB Staff
Answer: Thank you for the question Helix.
Gog and Magog would be the geographical region north of the Black and Caspian Seas which is Russia today (map below).
I have to ask what makes you think Putin is a Christian, because he says so? obama says he is a Christian too, do you believe him? What did Christ say? Please turn your Bible with me to,
16 “Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”
17 “Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.”
18 “A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.”
19 “Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”
20 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
What righteous actions has Putin done? None. Putin is working hand in hand with the children of Satan accomplishing their goals. Putin is a part of the same game Helix, he definitely is not a good guy as we have documented on this site.
We are not Biblical allies with Russia. The United States was settled and founded by the children of Jacob. You can document this by reading the, “Abrahamic Covenant“. While Russia would consist of the offspring of Esau. Scripturally the two have been enemies. Genesis 25 documents Issac’s wife Rebekah conceived baring twins. Please turn your Bible with me to,
23 “And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.”
24 “And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.”
25 “And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.”
26 “And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.”
The firstborn always has the birthright, but our Father told Rebekah the opposite would be true in her case. Why? Because our Father knew what Esau did in The First Earth Age and in this age of flesh Esau sold his birthright for a bowl of soup (Genesis 25:27-34). To go a bit further, “Esau despised his birthright“!
Genesis 27 through Genesis 28:1-7 will document Esau actually tried to kill Jacob though the two eventually were able to come to peace in Genesis 33.
The take away here is we need to always analyze the fruits of an individual especially if they claim to be a Christian.
Question: My question is what do you think about Russia moving into the Middle East near Jerusalem?
Name: Brandon T. Ward & WEB Staff
Answer: Thank you for the question Violet.
Russia has actually been in the Middle East since 1946 when they established an Embassy in Syria. Then in 1971 Russia established a Navel base in Syria as well. So they are not new to the region, though we do see them actively engaged in combat with “terrorists” which is a change from the norm.
There is a large amount of destruction taking place in the Middle East and there are more armies in this region than at any other time in world history. One thing is certain Violet, God’s Word states Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies and it does seem like those armies are being readied (Luke 21:20). All of these armies claim they are destroying ISIS, but the only destruction we can see (their fruits) is the destruction of Syria itself, not any so called terrorists. I believe it will be these terrorists (who are funded, trained and equiped by Western Powers) who will be used to continue to bring down nations who are not on board with the new world order agenda. Of course the children of Satan shift their plans regularly so all we can do is watch and analyze these events.
Question: If you got Baptized in the Mormon faith and now know the truth; do I need to get re-baptized? If so, does it have to be in a church like SC? It seems impossible to find churches that are similar.
Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Rob.
We are not baptized in the name of a church, we are baptized “in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” (Matthew 28:19-20). We are baptized “for the remission of sins” and when we are we “shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost” (Acts 2:38).
As long as you were baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit you are fine. If not, I would get baptized, a Christian friend can do this for you. No fancy pool is needed, a creek or river will do just fine. Christ Himself was baptized in a river after all (Mark 1:4-5, Matthew 3:13-17).
Depending on your situation if do you need to get baptized and decide to go to a church they do not need to hold certain beliefs, they just need to baptize you correctly as outlined above. Lastly, you can also go to Passover and get baptized by the Shepherd’s Chapel.
We would like to thank our Father for giving us this platform in order to spread His most precious Word. We would also like to thank our readers for submitting their questions and giving us the opportunity to share them with the audience.
