During the course of the last two weeks readers have submitted their questions and today we are going to answer one of them. So please join us and feel free to chime in on the discussion in the comments section below this post.

Before we get into this week’s questions we would like to point out that you are helping to spread the Word of God by your continued submission of questions. Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. Question 1:

Name: Keith
Question: I am 51 years old.. Just going back to when I was a child, I can remember when 90% of everything you see in today’s society was introduced… Color tv, push button phones, microwave ovens, cell phones, beepers, computers, etc…. This is a knowledge explosion.. Just in my life time.. I have also noticed a difference in people.. Attitudes, anger issues, mass murders on a daily basis in the news, people killing their family members, rudeness…. People use to wave at each other, help each other, smile at each other, there seems to be a total loss in love, cold hearts, hateful towards one another. Do you think this is scrolls or vials or are people demon possessed? Something for sure is different I’m not sure . Could you help me with this biblically ?

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Keith.

Your observations are certainly spot on and those observations can also be documented in the Word of God as signs for us in these end times. In the book of Daniel he has several visions that trouble him greatly and those visions have to do with these last days. Please turn your Bible with me to,

Daniel 12:4
4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

Daniel could not understand what he was shown in his visions. The angel did provide Daniel with an interpretation for some of them, but they still troubled Daniel. Why? The vision and the words were sealed by our Father, however, they have been opened up to us in these end times. Notice what this fourth verse says here, “many shall run to and fro“.

Never in the history of mankind have we been able to move from one point on earth to the next so rapidly; physically and even our thoughts. We have vehicles, trains, planes, ships you name it and they are capable of transporting man wherever he wishes to go. We have readily available provisions for our journeys with pit stops along the way (stores and fuel stations). We take all of this for granted today, but think back two thousand years ago and imagine traveling, much less during extreme heat or cold.

How about “knowledge shall be increased“? In the last 50 years there have been more advancements than during the entire existence of mankind. As a matter of fact, Moore’s Law states each year semi-conductors (think computer systems) double in speed and power. This theory has held true for 50 years and we can see it in our everyday life. In just five years time, mankind will become 32 times more advanced than we are today. In ten, 1,024 times more advanced, we cannot even fathom that. I could go on a tangent here about the coming world, but we will save that for another time.

Technology is an amazing thing, I can sit in my comfy chair and reach thousands of people across the entire world without even taking a step away from my desk and these works continue on for others to see while I carry on my daily life. When we really take a step back and think about where mankind is and where we came from it truly is amazing. The point is “knowledge” has certainly been increased!

You also mentioned man’s heart turning cold. Turn your Bible with me to,

Matthew 24:12
12 “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Mathew 24 is all about the signs that precede the end of this age of flesh and the return of Christ.

Iniquity,” that is wickedness and it truly turns people cold as ice. We have all seen this in our daily life, a real lack of thought for others in general. With our quick paced lives we have no time to sit down and enjoy a meal. We eat in our cars or while we walk and we are too busy to say hello and socialize with our neighbors, but we always have time to interact with our electronic devices and those on the other side of them.

Did our Father tell us this would happen? Of course He did.

2 Timothy 3:1
1 “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

When would perilous times come? In the last days and we are living in them.

2 Timothy 3:2
2 “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,”

Today’s generation is extremely self centered. It is a “me, me” generation and how I can get what I want this instant. Then we have those who may boast about a big house, car and truck which piles them under a mountain of debt that forces them to spend more time away from their family and God to earn more money to pay for it all.

2 Timothy 3:3
3 “Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,”

The verses really speak for themselves.

2 Timothy 3:4
4 “Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;”

Traitors, like those who sell out their countrymen for a little more money and power for themselves. Men love to live in the moment, enjoying just a few more seconds of “fun” in the flesh, becoming more concerned about their empty moment than a possible eternity with our Father.

2 Timothy 3:5
5 “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Having a form of godliness. I feel this applies to many who actually live a decent life, yet they just cannot allow our Father into their heart.

Overall it is not evil spirits who are causing this. I believe most of the two-thirds who ended up following Satan in The First Earth Age are living in this generation and this is the cause for much of what we see transpiring today.

Question 2:

Name: John
Question: Hello Brandon, thank you for your work. When Satan plays the role of the Dragon during the first 2.5 months of the 5 month tribulation, will he be behind the scenes working and then make his appearance to the world as the Anti-Christ at the beginning of the second 2.5 months? Or, is his appearance seen to the world at the beginning of the 5 month tribulation and these are just roles he plays out spiritually?

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question John and you are very welcome.

We know from Daniel 9:27 Satan makes a “covenant with many for one week“. That one week is the entire Tribulation, it is the final week of the seventy sevens that were set as documented in Daniel 9:24. This covenant is Satan establishing his supernatural kingdom on earth with his angels as Revelation 12:9 details. Obviously, Satan is making a covenant which is an agreement and it will be with world leaders. This deal making will be open and public for all to see. Satan is not going to arrive on earth under the cover of darkness. Satan will make a grand appearance, possibly with some of the aircraft mentioned in Ezekiel 1.

At the midst of the week Satan “shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease“. What is that? In Daniel’s time blood sacrifice was the only way to atone for sin. Today, we take Communion and talk to our Father through prayer for forgiveness. What did Christ tell us about Communion? “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come,” (1 Corinthians 11:26). We are to continue this tradition until our Lord and Savor returns.

When Satan stands on earth claiming to be Jesus Christ, the world, including most Christians will stop taking Communion to Christ, they will stop prayer and instead commune and worship Satan instead. They will believe Christ has returned, but it is an abominable lie.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Revelation 13:4
4 “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

Who is “they“? The people of the earth. Who is the “Dragon“? Satan as Revelation 12:9 will document and it is Satan the Dragon who empowers the beast system to begin with.

Verse 3 documents the coming beast government which receives a deadly wound that is healed by the Dragon and what did the people do? They worshipped the Dragon. It is the Deadly Wound that marks the very beginning of the Tribulation as this is the moment when Satan is cast from Heaven to earth. So if the people are worshipping Satan from the start that documents for us his appearance is public.  However, it is not until the midst of the week, the middle of the Tribulation that Satan has absolute control of the world.

Revelation 13:5
5 “And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.”

Power was given to Satan in order to do what? “Continue forty and two months (half of the Tribulation).” Continue, that means continue to do what he was already doing which was lying and deceiving the entire world, not hidden, but in plan sight for all to see. Satan will “doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,” and Satan “deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do,(Revelation 13:13-14). It will be these miracles in part that wrongly convinces the world that Satan is Christ and it will be these miracles in part that grant Satan absolute control over the world at the midst of the week.

  1. To Keith. I’m 47 and was glad to read your comments about the state of people today as I’ve noticed this myself over the last several years. People are colder than I’ve ever seen before and it’s a daily struggle to not let my own heart grow cold because of it. Not everyone, of course, but I believe it’s safe to say that most people seem to be full of disdain toward each other and to be a caring person who chooses to show Christ as the example makes me feel like a fool out there. Jesus went through it and so can we. Keep pressing on my friend.

    • Thank you for the comment and do not feel like a fool Brian, stand tall and stay strong.

We know “the fear (reverence or love) of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction,” (Proverbs 1:7). We are not the fool rather, “the fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good,” (Psalms 14:1).

      Take comfort in these verses.

      Proverbs 12:15
“The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.”

      John 15:18-19
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.”

19 “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.”
