Question 1:

Name: Name withheld
Question: Hi – I recently stumbled upon your website searching for more in my spiritual walk with God because I wasn’t satisfied with what my church is teaching. I don’t feel I have been fed spiritually lately and my hunger for Gods Word grows more in my life thus I have been asking God constantly to reveal the truth to me so I can know Him more and more each day = that I will decrease as He increases in my life. This is the first time I am writing to You. When I read Your Bible Study, I have a deep sense of connection in my spirit that I cannot describe. It is as if a piece puzzle was connected – it took me back to when I was a teenager how certain Words from the Bible just come alive, and now repeating itself as a confirmation.

I do have a few questions though just because I need to understand more in-depth – please forgive my questions if it sounds immature – . I grew up in a completely different country therefore sometimes my comprehension and understanding is not that good.

In one of the Bible studies that I read, you had mentioned that we were all created in Spirit before we came to earth – and we were warriors for God (given the choice to chose) . Does that mean that when I was born God breathe into me His Spirit and thru my journey (i was born into a Buddhist family for many generations) I became a Christian because I was once in a spiritual realm and chose to fight for God instead of satan?

I have been praying for my family to come to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, there are days when my prayer is like warriors and there are days when my prayer is like a heavy burden on my shoulder. I feel my prayer has been in vain many times and at times I feel helpless and hopeless. Is that because in the spirit realm my family have decided to follow satan before they came to the flesh? I know this is a very weird question – but I wonder if this is the case? You also mentioned that the only one that is hopeless is satan which means my family can still come to know God the way I did if they chose to.

My other question is about tithing. I have this heaviness in my heart because my husband don’t believe in giving to churches due to what they do with the money, I can see his point – but at the same time I feel guilty because my church constantly talks about the 10% tithe and the blessings of God when you give. I always feel if I don’t give i will be punished – that God will start making bad things happen in my family and my life. I am a working American citizen and don’t have much to give – I give my time to the church and tithe the little that I have in my account is that enough. I believe America is a great country and I am so blessed to be here, but at the same time from my opinion I think we have a lot of people in our population that we can help instead of helping others from other countries (Africa, Mexico, etc). Why don’t we (the churches) help our own people? Is it because we need to spread the gospel to the whole world and that is part of the reason why churches are helping other countries instead of our own? We need God more than ever – but it seems the churches are doing nothing but sending money and resources to help other countries.

On the Holy Spirit – speaking in cloven tongue – I believe I receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit when I was in worship in Breakfast Club in my country. It was joy unspeakable. and I always wonder what it meant – it was lots of babel words that I cannot comprehend. if I read your Bible Study right, you mentioned at that time when the fire of tongue came to the apostles they were all speaking in cloven tongue but the receiver hear it in their own language. The cloven tongue can be in babels, however the Holy Spirit was able to translate the words so the receivers can understand what was being said. Is that correct?

I definitely want to know more of Gods Word and His truth – where do I start in the Shepherds Chapel without getting lost in translation since I am very new to this findings?

I really appreciate your time and all that you do in this webpage. I am sorry to bring all these questions to you but I definitely would like answers that you can support with Bible verses.

Thank you –
Hungry for more of God.

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question and I am very happy to hear you found us. When we rightly divide God’s Word it surely connects together like puzzle pieces, I have always felt the same way. Your letter is just fine, knowing that you are from another nation and another religion no less is surely a witness in itself for the rest of our readers. I know how deeply rooted buddhism is in the Asian culture. We are going to cover all of your questions and for our response to flow better for you and our readers we are going to place your questions in quotes and indented.

Question: “In one of the Bible studies that I read, you had mentioned that we were all created in Spirit before we came to earth – and we were warriors for God (given the choice to chose) . Does that mean that when I was born God breathe into me His Spirit and thru my journey (i was born into a Buddhist family for many generations) I became a Christian because I was once in a spiritual realm and chose to fight for God instead of satan?”

Let me clarify, there was an entire earth age before the present age of flesh we live in today. When Satan rebelled against God that marked the overthrow of Satan and the moment in time when we all had a choice to make. To choose God or Satan. During that time mankind lived on earth in our true bodies, which are our spiritual bodies that never get sick, old or die. I would like to make it clear though it was not a spiritual realm as you might think of it.

Understand, a spiritual body has mass just as we do. Meaning a spiritual body, like the angels have, can leave a foot print. A spiritual body is simply made of another material other than flesh, one that is not corruptible as Paul would describe in 1 Corinthians 15:35-55. The body types are very similar as both flesh and spiritual bodies can be sustained by the same food. We can document this all throughout the Bible, one example can be found in Genesis 19:1-3 where the angels dined with Lot in Sodom. Further, Moses and the Israelites consumed angels food as they wandered in the wilderness (Exodus 16, John 6:31).

Does it mean you stood with God in The First Earth Age? Most likely since you are seeking God now in this age of flesh where our belief comes through faith, but that is only our opinion.

Question: “I have been praying for my family to come to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, there are days when my prayer is like warriors and there are days when my prayer is like a heavy burden on my shoulder. I feel my prayer has been in vain many times and at times I feel helpless and hopeless. Is that because in the spirit realm my family have decided to follow satan before they came to the flesh? I know this is a very weird question – but I wonder if this is the case? You also mentioned that the only one that is hopeless is satan which means my family can still come to know God the way I did if they chose to.”

There is nothing weird about your question. You are seeking the Lord and looking for your family to accept Him as well, that is highly admirable. When you share God’s Word you are effectively planting a seed with that individual. You cannot make that seed grow, meaning you cannot make that individual accept God’s Word and grow into a mature Christian. We can plant the seed (God’s Word) with the individual, but we cannot make it grow. That is up to God (1 Corinthians 3:6-9). This is a very important concept to understand. Some people will throw all their knowledge at someone thinking they are doing good and they drown the seed and kill it off. Plant the seed and let it be. Remember, lead by example and be a strong woman for God. Your family will see the example you are setting and notice that you are blessed for it.

Your prayers are never in vain, your work for the Lord is never in vain and you helping your family is working for the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). Your prayers are so special to our Father He even has them bottled (Revelation 5:8).

That is absolutely correct, Satan is the only one that is hopeless. He is already condemned to death (Ezekiel 28:18-19). In this age of flesh we all have the right to choose between God and Satan. That is the entire reason for this age of flesh to begin with.

Your family certainly has the opportunity to accept God. Our Father “is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance,(2 Peter 3:9). God loves all of His children and He wants them all to be saved, but they do need to seek Him. Do not forget though, we do have the Millennium which is the one thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ for those who never had the opportunity to hear real truth.

Question: “My other question is about tithing. I have this heaviness in my heart because my husband don’t believe in giving to churches due to what they do with the money, I can see his point – but at the same time I feel guilty because my church constantly talks about the 10% tithe and the blessings of God when you give. We need God more than ever – but it seems the churches are doing nothing but sending money and resources to help other countries.”

Understand in the days of tithes the church took care of the people. Today the government takes at least 30% of your paycheck before you see it. Then add in all of the other taxes and fees we pay everyday and that does not leave a lot left over. God does not want you to be destitute, He wants you to share His Word with the world (Mark 16:15). You are offering your time to God and that is worth far more than a few dollars in the church till. It is easy to throw a couple of dollars to a cause, it is quite another thing to take the time and invest it in what you believe in.

Do not allow your family to go without because the church is looking for your money. Anyone who will not provide for his or her family “is worse than an infidel(1 Timothy 5:8). So do not allow a church to take all of your money and lay a guilt trip on you. Never ever feel guilty about it. If your church is constantly talking about money, then that is what is on their mind. You can tell a lot about someone by what comes out of their mouth. We are going to spend some time on this subject, please turn your Bible with me to,

Mark 12:38
38 “And he said unto them in his doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces,”

Who said? Jesus Christ said beware of the scribes who put on a big show claiming to stand for God. A humble servant of God shows they are humble leading by example. They do not need to say it and put on huge displays of “holiness“.

Mark 12:39-40
39 “And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:”

40  “Which devour widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: these shall receive greater damnation.”

Christ is talking about church leaders and those putting on great displays of so-called righteousness. Christ is telling us beware of these people especially the church leaders no less who will even take from widows’.

Mark 12:41
41 “And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.”

The church till right there so everyone could see, that is not how our Father operates and we will document that in a moment.

Mark 12:42
42 “And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.”

This woman was dirt poor, yet she did what she could. Does that mean she is less in the eyes of God because the rich men placed more money into the treasury? Absolutely not. Listen to the Words of Christ.

Mark 12:43-44
43 “And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury:”

44 “For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.”

That poor woman cast in more than all of those rich men. Why? Because the little she cast in was all that she had. That is powerful faith in our Father.

How does God want us to act? Humbly before Him and before men. Let your actions speak for themselves.

Matthew 6:1-2
1 “Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.”

2 “Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”

Christ has made it abundantly clear, do not make a big deal out of your good deeds and that certainly includes your contribution to the church. Do it humbly before your Father and you will be rewarded for it. Notice, there is a reward for those hypocrites and you certainly do not want their reward.

Matthew 6:3-4
3 “But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:”

4That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.”

Are we looking to impress men or a church? Absolutely not. We are looking to impress our Father, to make Him proud we are His children. It is worth noting we have the same example for prayer in verses 5-6.

I will say I have been to churches where they pass the plate which I find absolutely disgusting. The entire point of that is for showmanship. ‘Look how much I put in brother‘. Showing your alms before men.

You read what Christ said about that. I take this subject very seriously as too many churches take from the people, but do not give enough back. The tactics they use to raise money is disturbing to say the least. I have been to churches where people change their personalities as they go on stage closing their eyes talking to the people like they are moved. Be yourself and act like yourself not a pretender. I have been to churches where they show you movies of their causes laying a guilt trip on you for 30 minutes or more. Then out comes the ol church till in the form of a passing plate. That 30 minutes could have been devoted to God instead.

I have heard Christian radio stations tell the people ‘give even if it is your last dime and God will provide‘. We read about that in the account of Mark, but that poor woman did it of her own accord. She was not conned into doing it. That radio station should use some of their own medicine, if they are so certain God will provide for them then why are they begging the people for money to begin with? I find it all quite sickening.

So I do not fault your husband, more importantly God does not fault you or your family.

I agree with you, this nation needs a lot of help from the churches and most importantly the people need spiritual help from the churches. Yet we are seeing the exact opposite. Mainstream Christianity has failed the people and more importantly they have failed our Father.  Remember, they will have their reward as we read and it will not be sweet.

To wrap up this section of your question. If you feel led to give and you believe the church is helping you grow spiritual then feel free to contribute, but you do not have to tithe. A donation is fine. Remember, if you are contributing your time that is even more valuable than any paper currency.

Finally, as 2 John 1:10-11 documents if the church is teaching anything other than what God’s Word actually says and you help that church you are essentially going to reap the reward of their evil deeds.

Question: “On the Holy Spirit – speaking in cloven tongue – I believe I receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit when I was in worship in Breakfast Club in my country. Is that correct?”

The first thing you need to understand about this subject is “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace,(1 Corinthians 14:33). The peace that comes to our hearts and minds from the clarity found in His Word. You stated yourself you heard babel speech and you could not understand it. Does that sound like it was from God? Of course not. Christ already promised us the Comforter which is the Holy Spirit and if you are in Christ then the Spirit is in you (Romans 8:8-11, John 14:16).

Christians who claim to have the Holy Spirit and speak gibberish which are the babel words you heard are either lying to you or they have some other spirit that is not from God. Many of these people are performing the showmanship we read of earlier, they are seeking attention, while others are so-called teachers wishing to fill their church and church tills. I believe you read our study, “The Lesson of Pentecost Day“. I will now provide an excerpt from that study.

Acts 2:3-4
3 “And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.”

4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

The Apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit, God’s Spirit who gave them this gift.

This word “cloven” is Strong’s word 1266 meaning, “to partition or divide“. What are we partitioning?  “Tongues” which is Strong’s word 1100 meaning, “a language.” We are not talking about babel speech or some secret language as we will learn shortly, the words spoken by the Apostles were understood by everyone. They spoke and the Holy Spirit caused that speech to be understood by everyone in attendance in their own native language.

Only our Father can accomplish a miracle like this, if we recall from Genesis 11:6-7 the people of the world were all of one language at one time. It was our Father who then confounded the languages of man to begin with so He can certainly remove that confusion if He so desires.

Acts 2:5
5 “And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.”

Jews which is to say Judeans, meaning those who are of the blood line of Judah or those residing in Judea claiming to be Jews.

Acts 2:6
6 “Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.”

No matter who was in attendance, a Russian speaking person, Japanese or Spanish it did not matter, they all heard the Apostles speak to them in their own language and they understood it. This is in fact the “cloven tongue,” one voice understood in every language.

Acts 2:7-8
7 “And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?”

8 “And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?”

The multitude was astounded as they understood the Apostles, in the very dialect of the town they were born in. This is going to be repeated in the near future when the Elect are delivered up.

Acts 2:9-11
9 “Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,”

10 “Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,”

11 “Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.”

There was no confusion, rather extreme clarity due to the gift of God.

We just covered what the cloven tongues were all about right from our Father’s Letter. They were about “the wonderful works of God. They were understood by everyone in attendance in their own language.

The disciples did not speak gibberish babel speech. They spoke in their own native language which was Galilean, yet their words were understood by everyone in attendance in their own language even down to the very accent where they were from.

That is not babel or confusion. That is clarity, that is peace brought forward by our Father’s Spirit, the Holy Spirit.

Question: “I definitely want to know more of Gods Word and His truth – where do I start in the Shepherds Chapel without getting lost in translation since I am very new to this findings?”

The Shepherd’s Chapel is very good for verse by verse studies. I would recommend you start in the beginning with Genesis. If you understand the beginning the entire Word will flow that much easier. We have a link under our “Resources –> Bible Resources” section with audio studies from them.

Since you read our study, “The World That Was, The First Earth Age” read the next study in line titled, “The Garden of Eden: The Origins of Satan’s Seed“.

Question: “I really appreciate your time and all that you do in this webpage. I am sorry to bring all these questions to you but I definitely would like answers that you can support with Bible verses.”

You are very welcome. We are more than happy to help and please submit any follow-up questions you may have in the future. Just take your time with what we have laid out here and seek your Father in prayer for understanding. I know He is proud of you.

Question 2:

Name: Nichole
Question: God’s name is Jehova but, Since Jesus’ time, is God’s new name we refer to Him by Jesus Christ or is that separate and God’s name is still Jehova? ( I know they are One, but I’m only meaning what is the proper way to regard God by, Jehova or Jesus Christ or both names? )

Thank You in advance for your answer!

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Nichole.

I noticed you spelled God’s name as “Jehova” which I take it was an error… In either case, let us document it so everyone is on the same page.

First, you will find God’s name “Jehovah” in the King James Version Bible only four times in English (Exodus 6:3, Psalms 83:18, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4). This is interesting as “Jehovah” is Strong Concordance word “3068“. Yet, you will find this word “3068” in the Bible thousands of times, yet in those instances the Bible translators translated the word as “LORD“. The fact is “Jehovah” should be in the Bible thousands of times, not just four. This is one example of many that document why we need to analyze the Word for ourselves. The Bible translators certainly made errors and their work should be proof read as they recommended.

Let us look at our Father’s name, “Jehovah” from the Strong’s Concordance which again, is word 3068 as used in Genesis 2:4.

H3068

יְהֹוָה

YeHôVâH

yeh-ho-vaw’

From H1961;
(the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national name of God: – Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069.

Notice the prime of the word is “YHVH” in bold and caps. The characters above this are the actual Hebrew characters of His name which I have above the door inside my home. Some refer to God as “YHVH” pronounced in Hebrew as “yeh-ho-vaw’. Since I speak English I like to say, “Jehovah“, though I rarely use God’s name. My personal preference is to call Him, Father or God since we are His children.

One final note on His name. Some people will mention there is no “J” in the Hebrew language which is true, “Jehovah” is simply the English equivalent. Those same people forget the Greek language does not have a “J” either, yet they say “Jesus“. Go figure. I would advise everyone, do not make the Word complicated and trick yourself in the process, some people make entirely new religions out of the material I covered in this paragraph alone.

To answer your question, God, the Creator, our Father is Jehovah while the Son,  our Mediator is Jesus (2424 from 3091 meaning, “Jehovah Saved”) Christ (5547 meaning, “anointed, that is, the Messiah”) who is our Lord and Savior. So reserve the name and title for each one of them (1 Timothy 2:5, Luke 2:11).

I do realize you said you understand the three are One, but let us document it for everyone else. Please turn your Bible with me to,

1 John 5:7
7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”

Do not put away that Strong’s Concordance just yet. This word “Ghost” is Strong’s word 4151 and means “the Holy Spirit“. So we have the Father and the Holy Spirit. Who is “the Word“?

John 1:14
14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”

Jesus Christ is the Word that was made flesh and lived among men and He is the only begotten Son. So between these two verses we have; The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit who are One.

While they are one, I believe there is a bit more here than would meet the eye. I believe the Father and Son are connected by the Holy Spirit and this is the reason the Bible says they are One. However, I do not believe God has one body and all three of them live in it together.

Let me provide an example of my point and I will cap it off with scriptural proof. We, Christians are known as the many membered body of Christ. We “are one body in Christ,” yet there are many different parts of that body. Some people are the legs of the body which move it around while others are the brains that do the thinking, but together we all serve the same purpose which is to bring forward the Gospel to the world (Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27). Everyone can understand that. We are one, yet we are all separate people. I am one with you, though I am possible thousands of miles away from you. How then can we be considered one? We are one through the Holy Spirit just as the Father and the Son are. Please turn your Bible with me to,

Ephesians 4:4-6
4 “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;”

5 “One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”

6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

The Father is above all and His Spirit, the Holy Spirit certainly works through us all.

Now for the scriptural proof I promised. Several places in the Bible document God and Christ in separate locations and how can we forget Christ’s time on earth alone. We are to rightly divide the Word of God, so let us do that.

What happened when Christ ascended into Heaven shortly after He rose from the dead? “he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God,(Mark 16:19). Jesus Christ did what? He sat on the right Hand of God. If they were all in the same body, it would be impossible for Christ to sit on God’s Right Hand.

We also know after the reign of Satan who is the anti-Christ, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will return. (Revelation 19:11-16). However, God, the Father does not return to the earth until the Eternity which is after the Millennium.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Revelation 20:4
4 “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

This verse transpires at the beginning of the Millennium which is just after the Tribulation of Satan. Did they live with God and Christ at the same time? No. The Saints, those who stood against Satan during the Tribulation will reign as priests with Jesus Christ on earth for the one thousand-year Millennial period while God remains in Heaven (Revelation 20:6). What happens after the Millennium?

Revelation 21:2
2 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

This moment in time does not occur until after the Millennium and the destruction of Satan and those who wish to follow him.

Revelation 21:3
3 “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

You will notice, then and only then, on the first day of the Eternity after death itself has been destroyed will God Himself (a clear indication of separation from the Son) come to the earth and dwell with man. Things will finally be put back the way God intended and originally created them. Then will the words be fulfilled…

Revelation 21:4
4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

Amen.

Addendum:

During the week we had some comments concerning God and Christ being One and understanding who the Creator is, we will address that here.

God uses nature in order for us to understand Him and His Word. Naturally God is referred to as the Father while Jesus Christ is referred to as the only begotten Son (2 John 1:3, John 3:16). This alone should document for us there is certainly a difference between the two. Christ is the begotten Son, which means the Son born. Do not read over that. Think about it.

With that laid out, it is our Father who is the Creator of all, not Jesus Christ (Psalms 102:24-25). Please turn your Bible with me to,

Nehemiah 9:6
6
“Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.”

What did we say earlier in this question? “LORD” in all uppercase means “Jehovah“, so we are talking about the Father who created everything in existence. Isaiah 42:5 adds another witness to this among many other scriptures.

I would now like you to turn your Bible with me to,

1 Corinthians 8:6
6 “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

This word “by” is Strong’s word 1223 which means, “through“. God our Father created the Heavens and earth “through” Jesus Christ simply meaning Christ had His part in it, but it was orchestrated by our Father the Great Potter (Isaiah 64:8). John 1:3 also has this same reference where the word “by” is used which again is Strong’s word 1223 meaning “through” and for those with a Companion Bible Dr. E.W. Bullinger notes this in the column for you as well.

Two more verses to document the point.

Hebrews 1:1
1 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,”

The subject being discussed is God, the Father.

Hebrews 1:2
2 “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;”

There is that word again, “by“, still 1223 in the Strong’s meaning “through“. So we have God, the Father who has spoken to us through the Son Jesus Christ and “through” Christ the Father made the world.

EDIT: Final considerations: Please turn your Bible with me to,

Matthew 3:16
16 “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:”

Read carefully.

Matthew 3:17
17 “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

It was not just a voice, it was the Father’s voice indicating the Father was in Heaven while the Son was on earth both at the same instant in time. Documenting the point that the Holy Spirit works between them bringing them together. Matthew 17:5 also offers these same words from our Father when Christ was transfigured.

Only through prayer and rightly dividing the Word of Truth can we hope to understand the Bible.

  1. Isn’t there a place where the Bible says that God (the Father) cannot be in the presence of sin? That was my understanding as to why it was necessary for Him to send that part of Himself, His right hand, among us sinners to save us. The right hand symbolizes both power and works. His main work HERE was paying for our sins with His flesh life. (His other work was creation itself). The power that came from that selfless and loving act defeated Death. The Father and the Son are one in the same, you can’t identify one without including the other as a personhood, they always existed from the beginning. But you can identify His works and His power in that part of Him He calls Christ, who was always with Him because He WAS Him. Unlike us, He can be more than one at the same time.

I humbly concede that I can’t understand it because I’m currently under the limitations of the flesh where, according to science and Scripture, I only have access to a small percentage of my brain.

  2. Hello BRANDON, if I GAVE YOU MY PHONE NUMBER WOULD YOU CALL ME AND LET ME EXPLAIN THE QUESTION, WATCHING FOOTBALL AND HAVING A GREAT DAY. EXPLANATION IS SHORT

  3. Hello BRANDON, The original Question: Why does it state “Let US make”, instead of “I will make” The answer is all things were made by I AM because I AM whatever I say I AM. Would that be a good SHORT answer?

    • Just a note:

Exo 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

    • Wise answer there Tommy G.

Who could argue with that? For the Great “I AM” certainly plays quite a number of roles…including:

SAVIOR in CHRIST YESHUA / Emmanuel…YeHoVaH Saves / God with us (in the Flesh)

YeHoVaH-JIREH = YeHoVaH will see, or provide. Gen. 22:14.

YeHoVaH-ROPHEKA = YeHoVaH that healeth thee. Ex. 15:26.

      YeHoVaH-NISSI = YeHoVaH my banner. Ex. 17:15.

      YeHoVaH-MeKADDISHKEM = YeHoVaH that doth sanctify you. Ex. 31:13. Lev. 20:8; 21:8; 22:32. Ezek. 20:12.

YeHoVaH-SHALOM = YeHoVaH [send] peace. (Prince of Peace) Judg. 6:24.

      YeHoVaH-ZeBA’OTH = YeHoVaH of hosts. 1Sam. 1:3, and frequently.

      YeHoVaH-ZIDKENU = YeHoVaH our righteousness. Jer. 23:6; 33:16.

      YeHoVaH-SHAMMAH = YeHoVaH is there. Ezek. 48:35.

      YeHoVaH-ELYON = YeHoVaH most high. Ps. 7:17; 47:2; 97:9.

      YeHoVaH-RO’I = YeHoVaH my Shepherd. Ps. 23:1.

      *****Just to name a few.

      Thank you for sharing Tommy.

      God Bless.

      • My answer came from Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

    • Good evening Tommy.

That was not in this Q&A, maybe it was from something else I missed… “Us” is Strong’s word 2248 which comes from 1473 which means “I” or “me”. God did not say the angels created anything as it is commonly thought. He said, “Let Us” which was a divine purpose if you will. Not an action. The very next verse says, “so God created man in his own image”. Something to think about.

Did you notice however the word us is “Us” with a capital U? I believe God would have been talking about the Holy Spirit and Christ as we discussed in our Q&A session.

I do often think about I AM THAT I AM in the sense that you did. God can be whatever He wants, when He wants and that would be my answer to Richard’s scripture on Exodus 3:13. While Exodus 3:13 reads that God is saying that is His name, I believe God was telling the Israelites that God is everything and everywhere if He so chooses and to tell the people that.

      • Your Addendum came from the sept 17,2016 Article titled Evolution just got harder to defend. Eye wrote a reply and I asked a question on genesis 1:26 she answered and the debate began. I sat and read because I wanted to see where it would go.

      • “The very next verse says, “so God created man in his own image”

That was God talking about putting HIMSELF / CHRIST YESHUA in the FLESH / EMMANUEL, GOD WITH US (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23) in the role or office of SAVIOR…being made in His (God’s) “EXPRESS image of His Person” or His “OWN” Image, in that verse, I believe…Brandon…in contrast to Him making us in His image…but *not*…”EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON” like that of Christ. We were made in the image of the angels.

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in His OWN image (Christ), in the image of God created He him (Christ); male and female created He THEM.”

*****(THEM…as in the rest of us…that were created in the image of the angels. We all came from God above…and our soul and spirit would return to our Father Who gave it, when we pass on (Ecclesiastes 12:7; 2 Corinthians 5:8).

Consider the following supporting verses regarding CHRIST.

Hebrews 1:2-6 “Hath in these last days spoken unto us BY His SON, Whom He hath APPOINTED Heir of ALL things, BY Whom ALSO He made the worlds;Who being the brightness of his glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the WORD of his POWER, when he had by BY HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much BETTER than the angels, as He hath BY inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they For unto WHICH of the angels said He at any time, “Thou art My Son, this day have I begotten Thee”? And AGAIN, “I will be to HIM a FATHER, and He shall be to ME a SON”? And AGAIN, when He bringeth in the Firstbegotten into the world, He saith, “And let ALL the angels of God WORSHIP Him.”

*****CHRIST has many excellent Names…and ALL of them identify one of Christ’s positions, or roles. Jesus Christ is the Anointed one, and He is the only one that we can have our hope of salvation in. There is only one God, and that God has three offices, and the office of the “Anointed One” is the office that became flesh and dwelt amongst us in the flesh. The Anointed one was tried before the Kenite council, and went to the cross and died for the sins, as prophesied in Psalms 22 as well as many other prophecies. Jesus held His peace and went to the slaughter willingly to pay the price for the sins of those that would receive Him. Let us not overlook the part…”let ALL the angels of God *WORSHIP* Him.”

Salvation is now open to all that would REPENT of their sins in Jesus name, and BELIEVE on Him. When you REPENT in Jesus name you are recognizing that GOD *did* give his Son, and that sacrifice on the cross is WHAT paid the price. When you believe in anything, you make a personal commitment to it as being ABSOLUTE fact.

p.s. I think what Tommy is referring to…is our discussion under the following link —->

        • just a note:
Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

Joh_14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

        • Hello Eye, I just wanted to add one other scripture to your message:
          John 20:28
“And Thomas answered and said unto Him, ‘My Lord and my God.”
My God refers to Appendix 98 I.i. 1
The Father as the revealed God; Jn. 1;1.
TO NOTE, I AGREE WITH RICHARD. TOO MUCH FOR US TO TRULY FATHOM WITH COMPLETE ACCURACY. SUFFICE IT TO SAY, EACH OF US WILL COME TO KNOW OUR FATHER IN OUR OWN WAY… JUST AS THOMAS DID.

      • I agree with you also Brandon, and he need not explain Himself to anyone as to what He is or does, the human mind can’t comprehend what he is, i do know that he created me and all of us, and that i have learned to trust him. after all isn’t this world about I AM and HIS CHILDREN, and the book he has given the world to read has all the answers to this life and the promises for the future he will bring.

There is good pasture here Brandon, keep it well watered.

    • The Question IS WHO is he talking to, is he talking to himself or to others that are present as to what his plan is.going to be ? man at that time of his speaking didn’t exist, and where were the archangel at that time was he talking to them or others ?

      anyway something to think about.

      • Richard my question is about the word MAKE. All thru the Bible we are told all was created my God alone { singular tense} we know he has a lot of names or titles or offices. Knowing this why does it say let US make. we can talk later about who was there and whose image we where made in but remember all was made by HIM alone {singular}. I thank all for putting up with my question .

        • God / Christ loves an earnest and diligent *seeker* of His TRUTHS, Tommy G.

I’ll give your question a shot…based on the meaning of the Word: “MAKE” taken from Strong’s H6213 – asah – (aw-saw); a primitive root; to do or make, in the broadest sense and widest application: accomplish, advance, appoint, apt, be at, become, bear, bestow, bring forth,

*****Check out the Strong’s for the *rest* of the “broadest sense and widest application.”

However, I take the position, that since the…”Us”… in Genesis 1:26…is in a Capitalized “U” in the KJV Companion Bible…that in itself led me to believe…that the Word “Us”…is referring to God YHVH + the SON, CHRIST YESHUA…Who is really *ONE* Entity / ONE Soul, connected by the HOLY SPIRIT. However…the angels were also invited to be included in the Divine Planning…for they may have had to VOLUNTEER to be placed in the FLESH, of their *own* FREEWILL…they may have had to *choose*…whether they were going to be either *male or female* in the FLESH…should they agree with the Divine Plan of God + Son.

I state this because the 7000 fallen angels did NOT seem to AGREE to be placed in the FLESH, they *chose* instead…to leave their own habitation (Heaven) Jude 1:6….to SEDUCE and have children with the daughters of Adam, which was only meant to SABOTAGE God’s Plan of SALVATION for us, in Christ Yeshua / Emmanuel. Those fallen EVIL SOULS (SELVES) with their EVIL SPIRITS (THOUGHT PROCESS OR INTELLECT of their SOULS) do Satan proud. See what happened to *them* for that EVIL ill-choice —–>

          2 Peter 2:4 For if GOD spared NOT the angels that SINNED, BUT cast them down to HELL, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be RESERVED unto JUDGMENT;

GOD DID *NOT* ASK THEM TO DO SOMETHING HE WOULDN’T DO HIMSELF.

For the SON was to be “MADE” in GOD’S “EXPRESS IMAGE” (Hebrews 1:3)…and the rest of mankind were to be “MADE” in the image of the angels. So we can clearly see there…that our soul and spirit…came from “above”…and enters the flesh at *conception*…as evident in…Luke 1:41-44……where it is told that when the “Virgin” Mary *conceived* Christ Yeshua…she went to her cousin’s Elisabeth’s house, and at the sound of Mary’s greetings / salutation, the babe (John the Baptist) leaped in her womb, at the PRESENCE of the HOLY SPIRIT…Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost (Spirit):

God began dwelling with us, in the FLESH from that Divinely wonderful moment, that Mary *conceived*…Emmanuel, God with us. Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23.

*****Just a little pause for this note —–> I’ve learned from SC / PAM…that archangels / cherubim…who are at the TOP of the hierarchy of angels under Almighty God…are *not* required to be born of woman / in the flesh….ever. Though Satan is a cherub…he has fallen from Grace for his *rebellion* against God in the First Earth Age…and was thereby sentenced to PERISH.

You should note well though…that the Word for “God” in Genesis 1:26…is NOT YHVH…as we would observe in the Strong’s…but —–>

          Strong’s H430 – elohiym (el-o-heem); plural of H433;

***** “plural” as in the Creation God + Son + the angels.,,that were present in that Divine Planning…but GOD + SON…or “BY” THE SON, Created *all* things.

Remember His Sacred Name…I AM THAT I AM. He is whatever He chooses to be…NOT just LIMITED to Creation God, Elohiym…in contrast to when we see LORD in all Uppercase, where it means YHVH / YeHoVaH…Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient God.

John 1:1-5 In the BEGINNING was the WORD, (CHRIST) and the WORD (CHRIST) was *with* GOD, and the WORD (CHRIST) *was* GOD. 2 The SAME (CHRIST) was in the BEGINNING *with* GOD. 3 ALL things were MADE *by* HIM (CHRIST); and WITHOUT him (CHRIST) was NOT any thing made that was made. 4 In him (CHRIST) was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it NOT.

IF anyone has any *DOUBT*…as to the “WORD” being CHRIST…look up the Strong’s for “WORD” as it is used in those verses above. You would find that it is referring to: CHRIST, here in the Book of John, when it has the article, just like it is in the Manuscripts from which those Scriptures were translated.

          CHECK IT OUT YOURSELF!

WORD: Strong’s G3056 – logos (log’-os) specially, (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (i.e. Christ)

CHRIST YESHUA *IS* THE LIVING “WORD”…WHO “WAS GOD”…HE AND GOD YHVH…ARE ONE.

So…YES! Christ *is* GOD…THE *LIVING WORD / THE LIVING GOD*…as per GOD’S inspired Word…and “by” HIM…were *ALL* things created or made.

Hope this helps…if *not*…maybe someone else can JUMP right in?

          Humble student of God’s Word.

          God Bless.

          • Thanks Eye, I’m sure he’ll get the picture.

          • Thanks eye for the great effortand to all thanks. I have heard this ask on Q and A on shephards chapel for 12 years it is always answered the same way. Most ask who is doing the talking in verse 26 , they always go to who our image ,who that is. I will word it this way and try to put it down……Does anyone on earth see a difference in these two statements…….I will make and we will make.

        • The reason he said ” let US make man in our image ” is that HE ALSO INCLUDED HIMSELF, THROUGH the flesh man called Yahshua.
HE was letting us know he wouldn’t have us do something that he wasn’t willing to do him self.
Mat_1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. hope this helps you Tommy G

  4. Thank you for all that you do in God’s Service on WEB, Brandon…in helping us *Rightly Divide* His Word…thus helping us to be *sure*…as we search out the Scriptures and study God’s Word for ourselves…along with God’s GIFTED Bible teachers that HE gave us. God knows most of us NEED them! Your labor of Love for our Heavenly Father and His flock, is sincerely appreciated. God will certainly reward all those who feed His flock and plant Seeds of His TRUTHS, in these DARK days of “FAMINE” (Amos 8:11) of the End times…which would continually get WORSE and WORSE…as the *casting out* of the FAKE christ / Satan / Antichrist…approaches and especially, while that DECEIVER / DESTROYER…is actually here. GREAT “APOSTASY” would come full circle then!

Thanks for addressing in the “Addendum” to Question 2…some of the things I’ve learned and understood…a bit *differently* from how you understand it to mean…as to what I’ve stated in my comments on the subject of “God and Christ being ONE Entity”…which can be viewed under one of the Articles you’ve shared on WEB —–> “Evolution Just Got Harder to Defend”

    Link for quick reference: https://worldeventsandthebible.com/2016/09/evolution-just-got-harder-defend

Over the 23 years of being a serious Bible student, I myself find God’s Word “pregnant” as PAM termed it…and we believers…sometimes have different views, opinions and positions as to what the Scriptures are really saying to us….which is very rare between WEB and myself…I must say…for you are a really good teacher of God’s Truths. But ONLY for the sake of my quest and thirst for the deeper meanings of His Word…seeking to *RIGHTLY DIVIDE* It and to be *SURE* for when I share with others…do I seek to dig a bit deeper…thus engaging in open discussion on any given subject, hoping to learn by the Grace of God, from any feedback you, as well as my dear God-Gifted brothers and sisters in the LORD, may have to offer.

I gain a wealth of knowledge and information that way, which helps me decide, and ultimately, help me to be SURE, as to what God’s Word is truly saying to us. So in addressing the differences on this topic…I will include excerpts from your Answer to “Nicole”…from “Q & A question 2…and put them in “quotation marks”…while I put my thoughts, on how I understand the relevant Scriptures to mean…by using these symbols —–> ***** Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the role of GOD YHVH / I AM THAT I AM…and as ONE…no longer holding all the other roles or offices as before…NO need to…it will be a World WITHOUT sinful behaviors, hangups or tendencies like we had in the 1st and 2nd World / Earth Ages. The elements or rudiments (anything that OFFENDS) would have been burned up in the Lake of Fire. 2 Peter 3:10…ONLY those who earnestly love our LORD, would be in the 3rd World / Earth Age. PERIOD! However…I believe…that the FULL GODHEAD *would* be here…for the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT & THE LAKE of FIRE EXECUTIONS also…and that happens…BEFORE…the Eternity commences…for *nothing* that OFFENDS…would be in the Eternity.

“We, Christians are known as the many membered body of Christ. We “are one body in Christ” yet there are many different offices.”

*****YES! I’ll totally agree it is “one body”…when it comes to the CHURCH. That’s like what I’ve been stating all along as to God / Christ…ONE soul…but DIFFERENT offices or roles…but for the many membered Body…each part works together to sustain and maintain that *ONE* Body…all parts working toward God’s Divine Will and Plan…with CHRIST being in the role as the HEAD / ROCK / CHIEF CORNERSTONE of that “many membered body of CHRIST”…the CHURCH.

“I am one with you, though I am possible thousands of miles away from you. How then can we be considered one? We are one through the Holy Spirit just as the Father and the Son are.”

*****YES! I could be very far away in another Country…yet…I am still an aunt, daughter, employer, friend, etc…to various people in my life, around the Globe…but still ONE person, soul or self. I can even say to all of them collectively: my spirit (thought process) is with you, even though I’m thousands of miles away, in person (soul, self). Well SAME applies with the Spirit of our Heavenly Father…The Holy Spirit is OMNIPRESENT…everywhere at the same time.

Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, Who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

*****BULLEYE! GOD HAS SPOKEN! TOTALLY AGREE…WHEN IT COMES TO THE MANY-MEMBERED BODY OF CHRIST…THE CHURCH THOUGH!

“Several places in the Bible document God and Christ in separate locations and how can we forget Christ’s time on earth alone. We are to rightly divide the Word of God. So let us do that. What happened when Christ ascended into Heaven shortly after He rose from the dead? “he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God,” (Mark 16:19). Jesus Christ did what? He sat on the right Hand of God. If they were all in the same body, it would be impossible for Christ to sit on God’s Right Hand.”

*****NOTHING…is “impossible” with GOD…CHRIST most certainly *did* sit on the RIGHT / STRONG / POWERFUL HAND of GOD! BUT…we need to understand, exactly what that means. It is written:

Hebrews 1:1-4 “God, Who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these LAST DAYS spoken unto us BY His SON, Whom He hath APPOINTED Heir of ALL things, BY Whom ALSO He made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the EXPRESS IMAGE of HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the WORD of his POWER, when he had by BY HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down on the RIGHT HAND of the MAJESTY on HIGH; Being made so much BETTER than the angels, as He hath BY inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

*****The RIGHT HAND…denotes “POWER & STRENGTH”…and CHRIST *is* GOD’S STRONG, POWERFUL HAND…He was back in the role of ALL POWERFUL, OMNIPOTENT, OMNIPRESENT, OMNISCIENT ALMIGHTY GOD YHVH…in Heaven…until HE returns in the role of SAVIOR / KING of kings and LORD of lords…for HE will still be in the role or office of SAVIOR in the millennium (1000 years) till *ALL* that is written, be FULFILLED…after which Satan will be loosed a short while to test those that were DISCIPLINED in the millennium…and thus make their choice…between GOD / CHRIST…and…Satan…THEN…The FULL GODHEAD as ONE Entity / ONE Soul, would be reigning again for all Eternity in the 3rd and Final World / Earth Age…the ETERNITY.

“However, God, the Father does not return to the earth until the Eternity which is after the Millennium.”

*****I would agree that the FULL GODHEAD…which some calls “TRINITY”…does *not* return until then…APART FROM Him being here on Earth for the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT & THE LAKE of FIRE EXECUTIONS..as well as when HE is here as our “COMFORTER”…

John 16:7 – Nevertheless I tell you the TRUTH; It is expedient for you that I GO AWAY: for if I go not away, the Comforter will NOT come unto you; but if I DEPART, I WILL send him unto you.

*****Christ had to depart / go away to the Heavenly Father to send the COMFORTER…because wherever those Two (2) are…The Holy Spirit is there also…and the Holy Spirit…*is*…the COMFORTER.

Revelation 21:2 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

*****Husband…FULL GODHEAD would be joining us…Father, Son and Holy Spirit…in the role or office of the GREAT “I AM THAT I AM” in *preparation* for the 3rd World / Earth Age with His Wife (Election / Elect 144,000 + Overcomers).

“This moment in time does not occur until after the Millennium and the destruction of Satan and those who wish to follow him.”

*****He’ll be here for the GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT & THE LAKE of FIRE *EXECUTIONS* though…GOD, THE *CONSUMING* FIRE. And that *all* takes place…BEFORE…the ETERNITY commences. Nothing that OFFENDS…will be in the ETERNITY, like I’ve mentioned before.

“So we have God, the Father who has spoken to us through the Son Jesus Christ and “through” Christ the Father made the world.

*****WHO can argue with that? That’s how I see it also. God…”by” the Son…”made the world” and “all things” (JOHN 1:3; Colossians 1:16)…for God and Christ are ONE soul…that’s what I’ve been saying all along in my comments under the link I’ve provided above.

“Only through prayer and rightly dividing the Word of Truth can we hope to understand the Bible.”

*****Can’t and would *not* argue with that…either! TRUTH / FACT stated there…which leaves *no* room for possibility…if one truly wants to understand the Bible, that is.

Thanks for documenting your position, thoughts and opinions, Brandon…now we all have it on WEB for us to reference or revisit at any time, as we seek to be SURE…including me…should I need to change my position.

Humble student of God’s Word…only seeking to share my thoughts with you and others….and that’s all there is to it.

To whom much is given, much is expected. Luke 12:48.

    TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

May God / Christ continue to bless, lead, guide, direct and touch you in God’s Service, Brandon…and all those who love and serve our LORD!

    Your sister in Christ,
    EyeonGod.

    • HI Eye, i really enjoyed your response, and at the same time enjoyed Brandon’s answer to the new student and I believe the answer came to the level that the student could better understand the answer, without overloading those concept that are hard to grasp from our Father’s word, especially coming from a different culture or religion. one final note, Matthew, Mark and Luke saw the same event with Christ and told the story from different perspectives.

      Love ya Eye, GOD bless.

      • To God be the Glory, Richard. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the response. Brandon did such an AWESOME job there…as usual. The testimony of the “new student” brought tears of “JOY” to my eyes, when I read it. I joined the angels in Heaven that are in the presence of GOD…rejoicing for the soul (name withheld) that gave her Life to God / finding Salvation in Christ Yeshua.

        PRAISE YE THE LORD!

Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise JOY shall be in heaven over ONE sinner that REPENTETH, more than over ninety and nine JUST persons, which need NO repentance.

Luke 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is JOY in the presence of the angels of GOD over ONE sinner that REPENTETH.

        • Sorry Eye i wasn’t done!! hit the wrong button and had to edit, these old finger have a mind of their own. LOL

          • You too! That happens to me as well…as a matter of fact, it happened today with my original comment…before…I had the chance to proof read it. Welcome to the ‘human’ club! So subject to ERROR…LOLz!

Go ahead and tap tap away…love fellow-shipping and hearing from my dear brothers and sisters.

    • 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

To me I always thought it to be simple through PAM’s explanation. If the Word is God, which He is. And the Word is also Yeshua, which he is. And they both are of the same spirit, which they are. And Immanuel (God with us) is Yeshua (The Word and YHVH with us). It is that simple! Three offices of the ONE entity and Holy Spirit! If you have seen the Son you have also seen the Father! They are One, but of two offices in the God head of the Trinity.???. That’s how I have come to understand it anyway! Good discussion by all. God Bless!

    • Thank you, Eye. I appreciate all your efforts in producing your expository dichotomy. Everything you stated, I concur and attest to as being of the same ilk and nature of teaching that I have been a fellow student and witness of.
I wanted to add some verses from Isaiah as to what is written about what God says as to who sits on the throne besides Him as God, and who does His creating in the earth.
      .
      Isaiah 44:6
“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts [the one who paid the price]; I am the [FIRST], and I am the [LAST]; and beside me there is no God.” (God does not share His throne.)
      Isaiah 44:8
“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God *beside* me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.”
      Isaiah 44:24
“Thus saith the LORD [Jehovah], thy redeemer [thy redeemer is the LORD; i.e. Savior/Christ], and [additionally] he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone [by Himself!]; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;”
NO ONE ELSE HELPED; AND WHO PURGED OUR SINS BY **HIMSELF**?
      Hebrews 1:3
“…when he had [Christ, Jesus] [BY HIMSELF] purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (thy redeemer is Jehovah; i.e. THE LORD)
      Isaiah 43:3
“For I am the LORD [Jehovah] thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour:…”
NOTE, THREE TITLES GIVEN, THEY ARE ALL FOR ONE GOD; I.E. OUR SAVIOR.
      Isaiah 43:15
“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.”
THERE IS NO OTHER… He is “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:16)
      Isaiah 41:4
“Who hath wrought and done it, calling the generations from the beginning? [first earth age] I the LORD [Jehovah], the [*FIRST*], and with the [*LAST*]; I am he.”
      Revelation 1:16
“And he [the Son of man] had in **his** [RIGHT HAND] seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.”
      Revelation 1:17
“And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his [RIGHT HAND] upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the [FIRST] and the [LAST]:” (Jehovah I.E. THE LORD is the first and the last. Isa. 41:4, 44:6.)
      .
I want to note this passage as well.
      2 Chronicles 18:31
“And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, ‘It is the king of Israel.’ Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD [Jehovah] helped him; [Jehovah was his covenant God.] and *God* [Elohim] moved them to depart from him.”
      .
ELOHIM IS GOD IN CREATURE FORM…THUS, ISN’T JESUS/MELCHIZEDEK BASICALLY ELOHIM = THE CREATOR? ELOHIM IS GOD THE SON, THE THE LIVING “WORD” WITH CREATURE FORM TO CREATE, AND LATER WITH HUMAN FORM TO REDEEM, AND IN CREATURE FORM HE APPEARED TO THE PATRIARCHS, A FORM NOT TEMPORARILY ASSUMED…(Appendix 4. I. of the Companion Bible.)
      .
      APPENDIX 98 I.i.1
      I. GOD.
      i. Theos corresponds generally, with Elohim of the O.T., denoting the Creator (see Ap. 4. I);….
Sometimes it corresponds with Jehovah (who is Elohim in covenant relation), in which case it is printed GOD,….
      1. Theos is used in the N.T. of the Father, as the revealed God (see John 1;1 Acts 17:24, &c.).
      .
      Colossians
      1:15
“Who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of every creature.”
      .
***THIS IS MY OPINION / SUPPLICATION:
      .
NATURALLY, HE IS THE FIRSTBORN OF EVERY CREATURE. TO CREATE EVERYTHING, HE HAD TO TAKE ON PHYSICAL/CREATURE FORM. HE IS THE FIRST (i.e. He who called Abraham) AND WILL BE THE LAST…(Messiah).
HE TOOK PHYSICAL FORM AND CREATED THE FIRST EARTH AGE; AND AGAIN, TOOK PHYSICAL FORM TO CREATE THE SECOND EARTH AGE; INCLUDING BEING BORN IN THE FLESH IN ORDER TO SAVE “US”, AND HE HAD TO SUFFER DEATH IN ORDER TO MAKE A NEW WAY FOR US TO JOIN HIM IN HIS NEW CREATION; THE OLD CREATION SUFFERED DEATH; I.E. SATAN…HENCE, ALL HAD TO COME THROUGH THIS AGE OF FLESH, BORN INNOCENT OF WOMAN; AND ONLY BY FOLLOWING CHRIST CAN WE OVERCOME DEATH AND START A FRESH IN HIS NEW CREATION.
      .
      Isaiah 66:22
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.”
      Revelation 21:5
“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new….”
      .
      PEACE.

      • To God be the Glory!

And you’re welcome. That was simply beautiful, DFG.

Like I’ve stated in my prior comment…we gain quite a wealth of knowledge and information…right here on WEB.

I truly feel blessed to have such God-driven gifted teachers and Seed planters in these DARK times…that selflessly offer their opinions, thoughts and positions, on any given topic…be it Biblical, to help us grow and mature in the Word..or Current World Events…in helping us keep the *Watch*… I very much appreciate that.

Thanks so much for sharing, DFG.

        God Bless.

      • I want to ensure scripture is being accurately cited here. Isaiah was written nearly 600-700 years before Christ. So Christ is not the redeemer as you stated in Isaiah 44:24 as Christ was not born into the flesh to provide any redemption. The redemption was by our Father to Jacob as verse 23 documents. God our Father has always been our redeemer from Egypt to Babylon. However, Christ became our Redeemer as Christ became our Passover Lamb. Christ was not always the passover lamb, but He did become the Passover Lamb when He died for us.

I believe something else was mentioned about Christ sitting on God’s Right Hand. I covered this already, but here are more of many scriptures indicating Christ in fact does sit at the Father’s Right Hand. It was not a figure of speech, but reality.

Col 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

        Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

        • Good evening, Brandon,

I do understand your concern about ensuring that…”scripture is being accurately cited here”…and it *is* a very legitimate concern, I’ll agree…but as far as your opening statement goes…specifically:

“Isaiah was written nearly 600-700 years before Christ. So Christ is not the redeemer as you stated in Isaiah 44:24 as Christ was not born into the flesh to provide any redemption.”

*****I have a question…and please help us understand HOW we should interpret what I have documented, as to God YHVH and Christ being One Entity / One Soul (Self)…connected by the Holy Spirit (the intellect or thought process of the soul)…I’ve included my documentation on the subject, from one of my comments above, following the Scriptures from John…which documents the “WORD” being there from the “BEGINNING”…which is possibly BILLIONS of years or more ago…in other words…UNDATED.

Given what you have stated there…HOW then do you explain the following Scriptures directly below…which now seems like a *contradiction* to John 1:1-4 ….. as to what you have stated….for as we already know…GOD’S WORD HAS *NO* CONTRADICTIONS.

Beside that documentation…what say you to the following?

Philippians 2:11 “And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Lord: Strong’s G2962 – kyrios (koo’-ree-os) from κῦρος kŷros (supremacy); supreme in authority, i.e. (as noun) controller; by implication, Master (as a respectful title):—GOD, Lord, master, Sir.

*****The SAME “Lord” used in the following Scriptures also —–>

Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord G2962 appeared unto him………

Matthew 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord G2962 by the prophet, saying,

Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord G2962 thy GOD.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord G2962 thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve.

*****And additional usage of that same word can be found as you scroll down to the Scripture verses where G2962 for Lord was also used, at the following link for the Strong’s online —–>

          https://www.blueletterbible.org/lang/Lexicon/Lexicon.cfm?strongs=G2962&t=KJV

Just trying to *RIGHTLY DIVIDE* God’s Word here…nothing more, nothing less.

Your input is greatly valued and appreciated.

          Thanks much in advance.

May God / Christ lead, guide, direct and touch us…in being SURE.

          • Going down a couple of comments of my last post which EOG is reiterating graciously here. John 1:1-5. Please think about this one fact! The *WORD* WAS*and *IS* *GOD*. To me this alone resolves the discussion! Are we being narrow minded in the flesh to NOT see that in the Father’s omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. That He did *not* know everything in advance of the rebellion of that age (from the utmost beggining) and what was going to occur? Or His plan for this age was *not* predestined? And that the WORD in Him and of Him did not already exist in advance of the utmost beginning. I mean come on think outside the box of the flesh and inside the box of the Father and the WORD as One. An office of fulfillment by the two as ONE, not excluding the Holy Spirit of coarse. In the past and the future the I AM that He is in more ways than One, but yet One. It’s supernatural. So why are we speaking of the natural? When we should consider it to be of deeper comprehension to even aquire in the flesh to it’s fullest. For other examples. Ask yourself how Christ was before the flesh Immanuel. (GOD WITH US) in the fiery furnace in the sight of Nebachanezzar? And he said! “He is like the SON Of GOD”! Because maybe He was? No! not maybe, He was! Or who was the Tree of Life in the midst of the Garden of Eaden? Who was Melchezadech? God’s Word tells us who? Christ Jesus! And yet this is previous to his first advent, or flesh exsistence! So who was He then if not God and the Word? I think the I AM can be One, or Both when He wills it to be who He wills it to be. As it factually states? ” And the Word *was* God”.
In humble closing… PAM would have said this has gotten to the point of suppositon. So let’s agree to agree, even if we don’t at a designated (Brandon point).? This is a point of subject matter that will be revealed to us by the Father himself at the appointed time. And in doing so we shall kneel in awe of it’s revelation and then some! Let us make it our future disciple-ship here in a suppositional topic, NOT something able to be taken further than it is scripturally safe to do so! ??
Sorry if this appears insulting, or offensive to anyone as unwarranted indignation! I look at you all with respect for your extensive knowledge in the Word. And with the utmost love in Christ’s Holy name. Brandon has full command of this site and should and will bring things to the decided (Brandon point). If we conduct ourselves as guests first. And worthy non- argumentative commentary/disciples second! A humble church body without massive digression! That I think we can agree, should go privately elsewhere if necessary, outside the view of newcomers. I expect Brandon to advise me of the same at any and all times!?

If you do not submit this post that is fine. I understand.? I still love the WEB, because their is NO other better site for discussion in the Word! ✌????

            God Bless!

          • Todd H. I would agree it is very simple. The Word is Christ as we stated in question two. This was never an issue, but became one with the confusion being brought forward in the comments section.

          • Your comment is implying beliefs I did not state. You need to go back and read what I actually said in my comment and the Q&A itself. You are adding confusion when it does not need to be present. We actually received question number two due to a comment you previously made that caused the reader confusion. We enjoy answering questions in our Q&A segment, but we do not want those questions to arise from readers who become confused after reading comments. Those comments are not helpful for this site. For those who did not get the opportunity to read our Clarity post I would encourage you to do so.

        • How I understood Hebrew 1:3 to mean…as you have referenced in your comment, Brandon…is that —–>

When you have seen CHRIST… you have seen GOD. When you have seen the “express image of His Person” in Christ Yeshua, then you have also seen “the Glory of God”. Man is made in the image of God, BUT…Christ is the EXACT SAME image of the Father’s Person. They are ONE and the SAME. When you look into a mirror, do you see another person, or the image of yourself? Are there two (2) people or one (1)…you and the person in the mirror?

A person can be a father and husband and a son all at the same time, yet he is only one person. He is a father to his children, a son of his father, and the husband of his wife all at the same time. Christ is the Son of the Father, and Christ Yeshua’s’ Spirit *is* the Holy Spirit that moved on the face of the deep in Genesis 1:2. God’s Word *is* His power, for what He states is ABSOLUTE, and as I’ve already documented, we are told in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word WAS God.”

Besides…”The Gospel According to John” (the same disciple, John whom Yeshua / Jesus loved, as per John 13:23…presents CHRIST…as GOD HIMSELF. Let us consider and examine the following verse…

          “BEHOLD your GOD” Isaiah 40:9.

And check out the verse that follows, Isaiah 40:10…which I’ll include in my *CONCLUSION* at the bottom.

It is the only ONE of the GOSPELS that makes a POINT of presenting CHRIST YESHUA’S identity as GOD. Though John presents Christ Yeshua as the SAVIOR of mankind, the MAIN stress in this Gospel *IS*…YESHUA’S *DEITY*…If someone has trouble understanding God’s overall plan, JOHN reveals that plan in a SIMPLE form of UNDERSTANDING. When you take the entire Book of John, and understand the overall picture given in it, it will STRENGTHEN your overall FAITH and walk in CHRIST.

The word “John” in the Hebrew tongue means “GOD’S GIFT”…and this Book is TRULY a GIFT to each of us. In the first three (3) Gospels…

MATTHEW presented CHRIST as the KING…

MARK has shown CHRIST as YHVH’S SERVANT…and in

          LUKE…CHRIST was the ideal MAN.

The descriptions of the events in CHRIST’S Life, are given in EACH of the GOSPELS.

          I AM THAT I AM. Exodus 3:14.

As far as the 4 GOSPELS go…many critics call attention to the DIFFERENCE in presentation of the FACTS, when in FACT, there is a PERFECT overlay. It is therefore four (4) DIFFERENT men (by the direction of the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD)…telling you and I…the EVENTS of what they SAY.

The first three (3) Gospels presented the HUMANITY of CHRIST, and this is IMPORTANT…in that it shows CHRIST as our *KINSMAN REDEEMER*…for HE laid down HIS Life for *ALL* mankind…that would REPENT and come to HIM by FAITH. The Book of John gives us an insight into the things that WERE… as well as the things that…WILL BE…and it is given in a manner that even the uneducated could read WITH understanding.

          CONCLUSION:

Isaiah 40:9 “O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid, say unto the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!” ”

*****We can count on this verse TODAY…for it was FULFILLED in the COMING of our LORD, YESHUA the CHRIST…Christ’s birth in the manger some two thousand years ago. The purpose for the COMING of the MESSIAH is given in Isaiah 60…HE came to PREPARE the WAY of SALVATION, and HE will RETURN in OUR generation to bring the DAY of VENGEANCE…”BEHOLD YOUR GOD!”

Isaiah 40:10 “BEHOLD, the LORD GOD will come with STRONG HAND, and HIS ARM shall RULE for HIM, His reward is with Him, AND His WORK BEFORE Him.”

His WORK that is BEFORE Him…is to JUDGE and TEACH through the MILLENNIUM (1000 years) AGE. Then at the CLOSE of the MILLENNIUM AGE, Satan is released for a SATAN season to *TRY* those that FELL to Satan’s DECEPTIONS in the AGE of the FLESH.

They will be TAUGHT and be DISCIPLINED in the Millennium age BEFORE the *GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT*… Christ is NOT coming the second time as a helpless baby seeking the protection from His mother this time….BUT… as the KING of kings and LORD of lords, with the AUTHORITY of *ALL* Heaven vested within HIM. John wrote of this time in Revelation 19:11 when he was brought to that DAY in a vision.

MAY GOD / CHRIST BE PRAISED…FOR *FORETELLING* US *ALL* THINGS (Mark 13:23)…WE GIVE HIM THE GLORY IN *ALL* THINGS GOOD.

Humble student in God’s Word…seeking the MEAT that helps us to GROW, MATURE and be SURE…as we PLANT SEEDS.

          God Bless.
