Bible Question and Answer

Question 1:

Name: Chelsie
Question: Hi! I have a situation in my life that I feel needs prayer and guidance. My boyfriend of a year believes he can not loose his salvation nor that he ever gets judged, but only for his good deeds. I believe the opposite. I have given him packets (even from your site) on this issue and he doesn’t budge. He was raised this way through church and people in his life. He is a wonderful guy and I keep praying God will open his eyes or bring someone in his life with some influence. Do you have any advice?

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Chelsie.

First, things first for those who may not understand this subject. We can certainly loose our salvation. None of us are perfect and even when we have found Christ we find ourselves falling short of His Glory (Romans 3:23). When we fall short that means we sin, which is a transgression of the law and we need to repent and ask for forgiveness otherwise it is still a mark on our record in Heaven (1 John 3:4, Isaiah 43:25-26, Acts 3:19, Isaiah 1:18). Christ made the point pretty clear that we must repent when we transgress the law (sin). In Luke 13:1-4 He said it twice. We have two Bible Q&As on this subject I recommend everyone reading.

Turn your Bible with me to,

1 Corinthians 3:5-6
5Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?”

6 “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.”

Chelsie it sounds like you have done some spiritual planting. You have tried to share some truth with your boyfriend and he is not hearing it. You have planted and watered, you have ministered that truth to him.

Now it is up to God to give the increase, meaning to make that seed of truth you planted sprout to life. I say it is up to God, because only He can open the eyes of the individual, but the individual has to seek the truth as well and ask God to open the individuals eyes (2 Kings 6:17, Matthew 7:7-8).

Since you have shared and I know you have prayed, ask our Father what He thinks you should do next. If the issue is a closed door with your boyfriend I would leave it alone for a while. Remember, you shared the truth. Now your boyfriend has to want to learn and understand. He needs to take action on His part asking God and then that increase will come. It can be tough I know. Only you know this situation in and out.

I can tell you I have personally seen many times people keep driving a truth at an individual and all it does it drive them further away. We do not want to do that to our family and friends. Sometimes we care so much we think we are doing good when it can actually cause harm. I am not saying you are doing this, I am just throwing that out there from my own experiences.

I have also noticed with time and spiritual growth people become more open to other ideas and thoughts. It is very tough for someone who has been raised on one doctrine of men to question it. Doing so means they have been lied to all their life. Tough to swallow for some, but it is better than continuing the lie.

We have said a prayer on this end of the screen and I would ask our readers to say a prayer for you as well.

Question 2:

Name: Mary
Question: Did we have a soul with our spiritual body in 1st earth age?

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Mary.

For those who may not be aware of what Mary is discussing, I would encourage you to read the following studies;

To answer your question, absolutely. Our soul is the same thing as our spirit. It is our self, our very being. Our soul is either in a spiritual body that never gets sick, old or dies or it is in the flesh like we are today (1 Corinthians 15:35-55).

If I get hit by a bus, this bag of flesh I am in is going back to the dirt and my “spirit shall return unto God who gave it,(Ecclesiastes 12:7). He gave it as He created it, during The First Earth Age.

Some believe God creates the soul as He places it into the womb, but we know that is not true. In The First Earth Age, many took a stand for our Father and due to that stand they have been predestined in this age of flesh to pass down the Word from one generation to the next. For those who live in the end times we are to make a stand once again for God against Satan. I highly encourage our readers to read The First Earth Age study and here is a few examples of predestination (John 17:24, Ephesians 1:4, 1 Peter 1:20).

In addition to that study further documentation is given in these two previous Bible Q&As concerning Esau.

Question 3:

Name: David
Question: What area is the Biblical “land of Nod” today? Thank you for your insight.

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question David.

Not much is written about the “Land of Nod” in the Bible. It is only mentioned one time in Genesis 4:16 where we are told the Land of Nod was “on the east of Eden“. In Genesis 2:10-14 we are told there were four rivers that went out from the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:10-14
10 “And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.”

11 “The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there isgold;”

12 “And the gold of that land is good: there isbdellium and the onyx stone.”

13 “And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.”

14 “And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.”

In verse 11 we are told the Pison river compassed the whole land of “Havilah”. The Smith’s Bible Dictionary tells us,

Havilah: A part of Eden through which flowed the river Pison (Araxes). It was probably the Grecian Colchis, in the northeast corner of Asia Minor, near the Caspian Sea.

So we have a good idea for the location of the Pison River.

Verse 13 tells us, “the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.” We all know where the land of Ethiopia is, in Africa.

Verse 14 tells us “the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria“. We know Assyria was located in what is northern Iraq and southeastern Turkey today. For additional reference here is a Biblical Map of Ancient Assyria.

Hiddekel” is Strong’s word: H2313 and it means, “the Chiddekel (or Tigris) river: – Hiddekel.” So the Tigris River of today is the Hiddekel River of old.

Finally, we have the Euphrates River which is still known to us today along with the Tigris River. In this Biblical Map of Ancient Persia we can see the Euphrates and Tigris River.

The Euphrates and Tigris Rivers both flow through Turkey, Syria and Iraq and then drain into the Persian Gulf. We also have a very good idea where the first two rivers Pison and Gihon were located being the Northeast corner of Asia Minor and Ethiopia respectively.

As a reminder we were told a single river went out from Eden and from there it was parted into four separate rivers. That would place Eden in and around what is modern day Turkey. Of course these rivers have dramatically shifted over the course of time and nothing resembles a Garden of Eden today in these regions. To answer your question, that would place the Land of Nod east of these locations which would be the land of Asia today.

Question 4:

Name: Faithful
Question: Hello Brandon, I’m studying the four winds and have a question in regards to what you wrote. Four winds symbolic for our Fathers spirit being poured out onto the earth. Will you please document for me where it says four winds are our Father’s spirit? And I just gotta ask this too, I know Christ is our communion if since we don’t know Satan will be here around passover time, if he is what is your take on still having communion in our home to our true Christ? Thank you so very much for all you do and your time helping us all grow in our Fathers word.

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Faithful, thank you for the question.

To be clear, I did not say the Four Winds were His Spirit. Only that they are symbolic for His Spirit being poured out. If we think about the Seven Vials that are poured out, the angels do the pouring, but we should understand the action of the vial itself is from God, it is His Wrath. How can we be so certain?

Turn your Bible with me to,

Revelation 15:7
7 “And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.”

What happens to the Seven Vials?

Revelation 16:1
1 “And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.”

Pour out the vials which are God’s Wrath upon the earth, for what? Wrath, destruction and what exactly do the Four Winds do? Cause a destructive result, a storm upon earthly men.

I am not going to get into the Vials in this Q&A, we will need an entire study to do it and I am sure we will in the future. The point here is the Four Winds release a destructive storm on the earth. If you note I referenced Revelation 16:9 in the quote you are referencing from Chapter 3.

Revelation 16:9 says,

“And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.”

The only ones who were blaspheming God were those who hate him and those who were fooled by Satan. As we documented in Chapter 3

After the release of the Four Winds. God has said if you want to believe a lie, He will send you strong delusion that you will believe those lies. Unfortunately, many in this world ‘take pleasure in unrighteousness’ and that will lead them right into Satan’s arms (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12).

While some will receive strong delusion from God’s Spirit, the Saints, those who are Sealed with His Word will have our Father’s Spirit poured out upon them during the Last Days that will provide them with strength, dreams and visions (Acts 2:17).

It is always so important to remember how our Father protects us. We can be right in the middle of a storm and he could keep us dry. For further reference and study read; The Ten Plagues of Egypt.

As for taking Communion when Satan is on earth, yes we absolutely can take Communion during that time if we so desire.

We would like to thank our Father for giving us this platform in order to spread His most precious Word. We would also like to thank our readers for submitting their questions and giving us the opportunity to share them with the audience.
