Christian Music: Zack Williams – Fear Is A Liar

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Always remember God, our Heavenly Father loves you very much. He loves you so much that He sent His only Son to perish on the Cross so that we have the opportunity to obtain Eternal Life (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:4-5).

Psalm 23:4
4
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Our Father is always with us, every step of the way, never forget that.

Psalm 55:22
22
Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.”

Whatever fears or cares you have in this world. Place them on God, He can bear them and He will carry you through them (1 Peter 5:7).

Zephaniah 3:17
17
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you by His love; He will exult over you with loud singing.”

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” – Romans 12:2

Lyrics: Zack Williams – Fear Is A Liar
When he told you you’re not good enough
When he told you you’re not right
When he told you you’re not strong enough
To put up a good fight
When he told you you’re not worthy
When he told you you’re not loved
When he told you you’re not beautiful
That you’ll never be enough

Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps
Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
‘Cause fear he is a liar

When he told you were troubled
You’ll forever be alone
When he told you you should run away
You’ll never find a home
When he told you you were dirty
And you should be ashamed
When he told you you could be the one

That grace could never change
Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps
Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
‘Cause fear he is a liar

Let Your fire fall and cast out all my fears
Let Your fire fall Your love is all I feel
Fear he is a liar
He will take your breath
Stop you in your steps

Fear he is a liar
He will rob your rest
Steal your happiness
Cast your fear in the fire
‘Cause fear he is a liar

  1. In the introduction here where John 3:16 is referenced. The scripture reads. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I don’t read it as the Son perished but we who believe Will not perish. Thank you

    • Welcome aboard Amy.

You are correct in your understanding of the Scripture. I was pointing out, our Heavenly Father sent His Son to perish on the Cross so that we would have the opportunity at Eternal Life and not perish. Without His Sacrifice on the cross, we would not be able to inherit Eternal Life.

Without atonement for our sins, we could not be healed, we could not wash away our sin and Christ became that atonement. He became our Passover. He became the way to cleanse ourself from sin, no longer needing the blood of animals, (Hebrews 9:12-14, 10:4).

      Thanks Amy.

  2. Wonderful truth in those lyrics!

  3. thank-you–this is wonder for some of us “worry warts”. Yes, the flesh can be a battle…..but we can learn as our Father is so good to us.
