WEB Notes: A diversity drive in the House of God. Does this sound right to you? Does it sound logical to you?…
They are losing attendance as they are not teaching the Word of God.
You cannot bend God’s Word to fit the people, that is the most absurd thought one can come up with. Yet these “ordaned ministeries” say it is so. Just because someone wears a suit and has a fancy title does not mean your Heavenly Father ordained them.
This article reminds me of Ephesians this morning, turn with me too,
14 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
This brings about a whole slew of Bible verses we could throw down for you. The point is, these people, these so-called teachers of the Bible are liars and deceivers.
‘Tough words brother, we are not to judge.’
Someone who would say that mis-understands the scriptures. We are supposed to use our judgement and spiritual discernment. John 7:24 tells us, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.”
God’s Word tells us homosexuality is a sin. You cannot live in sin like that and become a minister of God, that is accepted of God. You may be accepted of men, but as Christ taught us, “in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men,” (Mark 15:9).
Men always want to side step the scriptures to fit their agenda. Our Father will have none of that and He will not bless a ministry that does such things. It is our Father’s Way or the highway, period.
Transgender people are being encouraged to become Church of England vicars as bishops launch a diversity drive.
Bishops in the diocese of Lichfield have issued new guidance to parishioners and clergy reminding them that LGBT people “can be called to roles of leadership and service in the local church”.
The guidance, titled “welcoming and honouring LGBT+ people”, warns that the church’s reputation as being unwelcoming towards gay and transgender people is stopping young people attending.
“Nobody should be told that their sexual or gender identity in itself makes them an unsuitable candidate for leadership in the Church.”
