It reminds me of the churches so long ago who brought “easter celebrations” into the church in order to convert the heathen. Who ended up getting converted? It was not the “heathen”.
God’s Word is black and white, there are no gray areas, period.
On another note, this Gallup poll is a good example of how perception shapes our reality. I have been around so many different types of people in various environments, within one group of people one thing will be perfectly acceptable, then another will not. Yet, you go to the second group of people and they will be the opposite. It all depends on what became “truth” to them and how it was presented to them…

As expected, the year’s study revealed that Americans believe that gay and lesbian relations are morally acceptable. However, an unexpected study showed that pornography and polygamy are also morally acceptable.
The study revealed that America is split on whether or not abortion is morally wrong, half believing it is wrong, the other half thinking it is fine.
The study revealed that a majority of Americans believe that gay and lesbian relations are morally right, at a record high of 67 percent. Last year only 63 percent of American adults stated that they believe gay-lesbian relations are.
