China Moves to Ban Internet Church Activities

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

WEB Notes: China is banning everything “church” unless it is “approved” ahead of time by the communist nation. That is not freedom of religion. As bad as things may be in the US, we are doing far better than our Chinese counterparts. Make sure to keep them in your prayers. It is a lot harder for them to be Christians than you and I.

China is moving its religious censorship to the next frontier: the internet.

The communist country’s State Administration for Religious Affairs (SARA) has proposed new regulations that would make conducting online church services illegal, according to AsiaNews, which first broke the story.

In order to establish a religious website, the outlet reported, those involved would have to receive express permission from the Chinese government and face judgment over whether they and their religious beliefs are “morally healthy and politically reliable.”

  1. Life as a Christian has been tough for those in the middle East including the Communist nations. The following seal is definitely in action.

    Revelation 6:9
“And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
    10) And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
    11) And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”

Remember, when the tribulation of Antichrist begins, the killing of God’s Elect ends; Luke 21:18.
    For it is written:
    Luke 10:18
“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

    Luke 10:19
“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents [Satan] and scorpions [Rev. 9] , and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

Fear not! That’s a promise from God Himself to us.

    But in the meantime,

    Matthew 10:16
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
