The Future Of World Events And The Bible

For the last year, I have had a unique opportunity that has enabled me to spend more time with my family which I have enjoyed immensely. This has also allowed me to spend more time working on our site, including a new series of Bible studies yet to be released.

This opportunity has really made me think and pray concerning the future of my family and World Events and the Bible. There is no doubt in my mind, I would love to continue and expand the work we have started on our site.

However, I am not remotely close to the age of retirement.

At this stage of my life, I have many options in my personal career. I could continue and expand my career and build a very nice future and retirement for my family. Unfortunately, this would take away my time and ability to produce material for our site.

My passion and what I feel led to do is serve our Heavenly Father instead. My passion is to continue and expand the work on our site which I feel is more important now than ever considering the state of our world.

I feel I am at a crossroads in life, either I pursue my career or I pursue my passion here at World Events and the Bible. I know looking forward, I cannot do both at the same time, much less expand our work here.

It is for these reasons, after much prayer and consideration that we have decided to accept donations. This is something we never imagined we would do, nor do we take such a serious matter lightly.

If I did not feel led and confident in the work we have accomplished through God, I would not open our site to donations.

Will Donations Be Tax Deductible?

The short answer is no, and I will explain why.

We have decided not to become a 501c3 organization. That designation means the government becomes involved and there are certain rules and regulations that must be followed in order to remain 501c3 compliant.

I have no desire to allow any organization or government control my thoughts or speech. The only one who has that control is our Heavenly Father and I intend for it to remain that way.

Who Can Donate?

Anyone can make a donation and we have provided many options for individuals to make that happen.

However, and I want to make it extremely clear, please do not donate if you do not have the means. You can always help through prayer and sharing our content with your family and friends. That also helps, and I know our Father appreciates all of those who spread His Word.

How Can You Donate?

You can donate here.

You will also find a “Donate” link at the top of our site and in the sidebar to serve both mobile and desktop users.

Thank You For Your Consideration And Readership

Looking forward, I know our Father’s Word will always find a way, whether it is here or some other place. It always has and it always will.

If you are considering making a donation, take it to our Father in prayer and if you still feel led to, we thank you.

In His Service,

Brandon T. Ward

  1. I know that you’ve earnestly prayed about this decision Brandon…and I am thrilled that you’ve decided to stay in God’s Service with WEB! It is written…

“For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.” 1 Timothy 5:18.

This is quoting from Deuteronomy 25:4 “Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.” The old ox is the one that pulls the plow, that grinds the corn, that makes the meal, that you make your bread with. When the ox is doing the work to feed your family, don’t deny the ox the food that he has deserved. Paul is saying that just as you would do it for animals, you must also do it for those that do the service and work in the Lord’s house. A pastor is worthy of his hire, and the person that is expected to give their service on a full time basis to the work of the Lord are also worthy of their hire. This applies to The Church missionaries, and teachers that give of themselves on a full time basis. Some ministers do not take a salary, and it is of their own choosing, but those that need it are deserving of their wage.

I always look forward to your WEB Notes in my Watchman-ship, which helps us to align World Events as it pertain to Biblical prophecies for these Last days…and I’m certainly glad to have access to the Topical Studies and Q & A sections to reference, whenever I share with others. There’s certainly a wealth of knowledge in your God-given talent for us to soak up or search out for ourselves, in helping us come to a deeper understanding of God’s / Christ’s Truths…we need the Meat of God’s Word as we mature more and more each day.

There is a “famine” (Amos 8:11) in the Land and around the globe…we certainly value and appreciate being fed by gifted servants of our Lord! We pray that He continues to bless you in the way forward. Keep feeding the flock God’s / Christ’s Way…and your Ministry would certainly continue to be blessed!

May God/Christ go before you to bless, lead, guide, direct, touch, prosper, heal, protect and comfort as needed, you, family and friend, that also help contribute on WEB.

    Shalom in Christ Yeshua/Jesus!

  2. Fear not for the future of WEB! I have no doubt its future is bright! God will not let you down. You’re here to stay, in case you didn’t know…Lol. God doesn’t start something that doesn’t last. You can count on Him and those who are in Him. Your house has way more members living in it then you mentioned! And we are not dead wood.
God bless and full steam ahead

  3. Rom 10:13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. Isa 53:1 For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Your decision has warmed my heart Brandon, you have my support.

  4. I cannot tell you how much your site blesses me and my family. We so appreciate all the hard work you put into this. I believe you have made the right decision to accept donations. Father knows your heart and I am sure He is very pleased with the work you are doing. I know you will be one He says “Well done my good and faithful son!”

  5. A wise decision, sir….Father will no doubt bless you for doing His work. You feed many sheep. May He continue to bless you and yours.

  6. Hello Brandon! I have to say this is incredible news! Supporting a work like this is exactly what we want to do. I feel like I take, take, take from you and now I get to give. That gives me much peace. There are so many garbage ministries that offer nothing and beg often. You do a tremendous job broadcasting our Father’s Word and I am excited to support this. You have a tremendous gift, a gift that I do not have. I rely on this site and I am excited to financially support it. You can count on me and my family. You deserve it…and I truly mean that!

  7. Thank you for your decision to stay Brandon. I am sure it was a difficult decision but I feel your passion for our Heavenly Father and his word , therefore I believe it was the right decision. May the Heavenly Father continue to Bless you and your family. Thank you!
