The Coronavirus Fiasco

If there is one article you read today, read this one! This ties right into what we have explained to you about the fear and hype of the Coronavirus.

We have explained the Coronavirus kills about 2% of those infected. That is from official’s numbers when this first kicked off. The CDC is saying the new numbers are 3.4%.

However, this paper explains they are basing these numbers off unreliable data. Which in turn means, governments are making rash decisions that are not warranted.

This paper will explain, the Diamond Princess cruise ship is the perfect example to see what the Coronavirus can do among a population. The mortality rate was just 1% from the Coronavirus! Here is the kicker, the cruise ship was largely an older population. This further backs up everything we have been explaining to you.

It gets even better, read on…

Stat News explains,

This evidence fiasco creates tremendous uncertainty about the risk of dying from Covid-19. Reported case fatality rates, like the official 3.4% rate from the World Health Organization, cause horror — and are meaningless. Patients who have been tested for SARS-CoV-2 are disproportionately those with severe symptoms and bad outcomes. As most health systems have limited testing capacity, selection bias may even worsen in the near future.

The one situation where an entire, closed population was tested was the Diamond Princess cruise ship and its quarantine passengers. The case fatality rate there was 1.0%, but this was a largely elderly population, in which the death rate from Covid-19 is much higher.

Projecting the Diamond Princess mortality rate onto the age structure of the U.S. population, the death rate among people infected with Covid-19 would be 0.125%. But since this estimate is based on extremely thin data — there were just seven deaths among the 700 infected passengers and crew — the real death rate could stretch from five times lower (0.025%) to five times higher (0.625%). It is also possible that some of the passengers who were infected might die later, and that tourists may have different frequencies of chronic diseases — a risk factor for worse outcomes with SARS-CoV-2 infection — than the general population. Adding these extra sources of uncertainty, reasonable estimates for the case fatality ratio in the general U.S. population vary from 0.05% to 1%.

  1. I think it’s wise to keep in God’s Word and be praying to Him almost constantly at this point and not to get distracted by trivial things… I think the birth pangs will keep coming and get stronger and faster with time. What this looks like is bracing shocks felt locally and across the world… followed by waves of despair, the people will be brought to their knees, and we need to remain strong in God. I see social media posts where folk are suffering depression and going under mentally and emotionally and I don’t think we’re anything near the worst. Just recently we’ve had devastation due to the bushfires and almost noone is talking about that or ‘climate change’ because folk are all wrapped up in this virus…. the next wave of pain will be the realisation that the global economy is going to tank, not just into recession but into oblivion… wait till they tell everyone that has worked and has superannuation (your 401k) that the money, our nest eggs) have evaporated into the ether…. I’m sure there’s going to be more catastrophic events that impact great swathes of people and it’s a horrible thing to be discussing but I think we need to mentally and Spiritually prepare for these scenarios. So that when they happen we don’t crash….

    • Thanks for the note.

Illinois locked down today, Britain did as well and more rumors of our own Federal lockdown. I just really feel for the people reaching retirement age. We have readers in that boat and we have personal friends who are retired and live off their nest egg which is vanishing by the day. I truly do not know if everyone really comprehends the devastation this is causing.
