Question: Can you explain the difference between the wife and the bride of Christ?
Answer: Thank you for the question Trish.
I do not believe there is a difference between the two. If you look up the words; “bride” and “wife” in the Strong’s Concordance, you will find the two words certainly have different meanings.
“Bride” references a young married woman, while “wife” simply means “wife or woman”. However, with reference to your question, Scripture does not declare a difference between the two.
Let’s prove the point.

Revelation 21:9
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
One of the Seven Angels told John, the bride and the wife are one and the same.
Who is the bride (those who love and stand for our Father)?
The Lamb’s wife.
She is symbolic of Christians who will participate in the Great Wedding at the end of the Tribulation. That’s the moment when the bride becomes the wife, and she will spiritually marry the Lamb who is Jesus Christ, (John 1:29).
