Will A Third Temple Be Built In Israel?

Third Temple

Welcome to World Events and the Bible. I’m Brandon T. Ward. Hey, we have another question. This time this one is from Theresa and she says,

Is there an actual third temple that will be built signifying that Satan is here?

No, there’s not going to be a third temple in Israel. And we’ll explain that in a moment. But what I want you to understand. You’re not going to need any building or structure to let you know that Satan is here. Satan being the antichrist.

This is not something that’s going to be about physical things. This is a spiritual warfare as Ephesians chapter six discusses. So we don’t need any kind of buildings or anything like that. Some of those beliefs stem from other religions, that are then brought into Christianity.

Now the Bible does mention a temple. So let’s read about that. I’m going to turn my Bible. You can join me to second Thessalonians chapter two, verse four. Let’s do that. Let’s read that real quick. This is where some of this temple stuff comes from as well. So second Thessalonians chapter two, verse four.

The Antichrist Will Claim To Be God

[00:01:05]

And it’s talking about the guy in the previous verse here, the man of sin, the son of perdition, which is Satan. We have a Bible study titled “Who Is The Antichrist?” It will explain all of that for you.

So this Satan, it says, who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God. Or that is worshiped so that he as God, sitteth in the temple of God showing himself that he is God.

So Satan is going to appear, claiming to be God. That’s why he’s called the Antichrist. And it says he sits in the temple and we’ll get to that in a minute. The temple is, we are the temple and we will document that in just a moment, but notice what he does. He appears, and he sits in the temple acting like he’s God.

In Revelation chapter 13 verse 11, it says, there’s this dragon. And he has two horns, like a lamb. He looked like a lamb because he was imitating Jesus Christ. And Revelation chapter 12 verses seven and nine. We’ll let you know that that dragon is Satan. It’s not a big deal there.

The other thing that you want to be aware of is what Satan does. It says in Revelation chapter 13, we’re actually going to jump over there.

Satan Will Display Miracles And Wonders

[00:02:20]

Let’s just do that Revelation 13 verse 13. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on earth, in the sight of men.

So he’s going to put on all these miracles and everything. So that signifies that Satan is here pretending to be the false Messiah. Well, not pretending to be the false Messiah. He is. He’s gonna be pretending that he’s God, and he’s going to display miracles. Like you’ve never seen supernatural miracles, not anything any man can do.

So that’s the things that kind of tip us off that we will know when Satan is here. Not that we needed a building or anything like that.

We Are The Temple

[00:03:04]

But let’s document the temple part here in first Corinthians chapter three verse 16. First Corinthians chapter three, verse 16.

Know ye not that you’re the temple of God. You, me. And that the spirit of God dwelleth in you.

We are the temple of God. That’s what we’re talking about here. We’re the temple of God. And so, Revelation gives us some more information on this as well. So I hope you held your place there.

God And The Lamb Are The Temple

[00:03:43]

Let’s jump over to Revelation chapter 21, verse 22. This will help us out. And this verse concerns the Eternity actually. So this is all past the Millennium, and we’re looking into the Eternity now. And let’s see what it says.

And I saw no temple therein for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

There there is no temple because they are the temple. We don’t need a place to go worship anymore because God is with us. Right. That’s the only reason we have church and temple is so we can go to someplace. Meet with like-minded people and try to get the spirit, but God’s going to be all around in the Eternity.

You know, we don’t need a building. And the Bible is clearly said, now there is no temple. And we are symbolically that temple.

We Will Be A Pillar Of The Eternal Temple

[00:04:34]

Here’s another verse in Revelation. Actually, we’re going to check out it’s Revelation, chapter three, verse 12. Let’s jump over there, almost there three 12.

And it says he, that overcometh. Will I make a pillar and the temple of my God and he shall go out no more. And I will write upon him the name of my God. And the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God. And I will write upon him my new name.

These are Jesus’ words. These are Jesus’ words. And he says, I will make those that overcome.

Overcome what?

Overcome the Tribulation. Overcome those in life who stood for Jesus Christ. He’s going to make them a pillar in the temple of God. Well, we just found out there is no temple and obviously you can’t turn a person into a pillar.

So it’s symbology. We don’t want to get caught up on the symbology.

So we’re not we’re pillars in a symbolical sense that we all make up the church. We all hold it up. We hold each other together. That’s what Romans talks about, where all the body of Christ.

That documents it’s there, it’s not a deep dive, but it’s enough to let you know that we, there is no physical building that we’re waiting for and Satan will show his appearance by. You will see it, miraculous signs that you’ve never seen before. Not to mention all the things that lead up to that point, the Tribulation.

So I hope that answers it for you there, Theresa.

Thank you so much for writing in your question.
