The Delusion Of The Last Days

The Delusion Of The Last Days

Welcome to World Events and the Bible. I’m Brandon T. Ward. The Delusion Of The Last Days. As we look at religion and politics in our world today, especially in our country here. It just continues to get worse. It’s gotten so bad to the point that there is an obvious delusion in our world.

Delusion has gripped the world. What is right, is wrong. And what is wrong, is right. It is just unbelievable. So there’s this clear separation and we can see that it is causing so many of us to become divided amongst one another. As countries, as Christians, and in our church houses. Even our own families, world events are causing separation between families.

Now, these things are in fact, a precursor to the Mark of the Beast. I said a precursor. So that means we can take examples from the things that are going on in our world today. The things that are dividing, the people. Okay. But what is causing this delusion? What is causing this delusion that is sweeping over? Not just our nation, but the entire world.

That’s what we’re going to talk about today. Before we jump into that and open our Bible, let’s just say a quick prayer. Father, we ask you for wisdom and understanding of your Word in Jesus name. Amen.

In The Last Days

Okay. So with that, let’s just go ahead and turn our Bible to second Timothy chapter three, verse one. Second, Timothy chapter three, verse one.

This know also that in the Last Days, the Last Days that’s now perilous times shall come. And they are here perilous times have come and they will just continue to get worse as we’ve seen. It just seems that each year that passes is much worse than the previous year, but the point is that for us, I think all Christians are starting to realize we are in the Last Days.

The only question is how long they’re going to last. That’s the only question. This is a great chapter here to read. Go ahead and read verse down to verse five at least by yourself. But right now we’re going to jump over to second Timothy, rather second Thessalonians chapter two. Okay.

The Falling Away

Second Thessalonians chapter two. But the whole point here is in the Last Days, perilous times shall come. That’s when you know that you are in the Last Days, because the days aren’t going to be smooth going anymore, it’s going to start to get rough, you know, especially if you’re a Christian. Second Timothy, second Thessalonians chapter two, verse one.

I’m not going to read that one, but it has to do with the coming of our Lord and how we gather back to him. You know, how does it all go down? How, was the days before Jesus return going to look? Like what is it going to look like? All right. So I’m going to go to verse three. That is where we’re going to start picking it up here.

So let’s read verse three together. Let no man deceive you by any means for that day, shall not come. What day? The return of the Lord in the Last Days, that’s when it’s going to go down. Except there come a falling away first. This falling away as a defection from truth. That’s what the word means. Look it up.

It’s the apostasy, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Now this is in fact the antichrist, Satan, whatever you’d like to call him. I have plenty other words myself, but that’s who we’re talking about. And this falling away is when they worship him, they serve him. Okay, so that tells you that the world couldn’t be too on point, too sharp in God’s word. If they allowed themselves to be deceived by somebody else.

Received Not The Love Of The Truth

Delusion okay. Delusion, I’m going to skip down to verse 10. Second Thessalonians chapter two, verse 10, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them, that perish. They’re going to perish because of this. Because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

They didn’t care about God. They didn’t care about His truth. And you know, this word deceivableness, it means delusion they’re diluted. And that’s why they accepted this unrighteousness. And the word unrighteousness means moral wrongfulness. It’s wrongness. It’s wickedness, it’s evilness, but the people have no problem distorting God’s word in order to fit it in with the ways of the world.

We hear terms commonly now today, equality and inclusiveness to try to include everybody. No matter if the person’s lifestyle is a sin or not. Okay, look, God wants everybody to be saved. He is very inclusive, but the thing is you have to do it His way. There has to be rules and regulations. Otherwise you just have chaos.

And while the world is talking about this inclusiveness and equality that they have. It’s not very inclusive because actually does not include Christians because you’re not conforming to the ways of the world than you are now an outcast. So this whole inclusive, inequality thing, and this oneness that we’re hearing, it’s just a bunch of bull.

It’s just a bunch of bull and they do it to promote sinful behaviors and wrongful behaviors, everything that is wrong with this world and why? Because they receive not the love of the truth. That’s why they’re going to perish. Do you love the truth? Let’s go to verse 11, verse 11 and for this cause what cause, because they didn’t love the truth.

God Will Send Them Strong Delusion

God shall send them strong delusion. Who sends the delusion? God sends the delusion, that they should believe a lie. They’re going to believe a lie, because God’s sending the delusion because they didn’t want any part of the truth. They just rejected God. God sends the delusion. All right. That’s what you want to remember here.

He’s the One sending the delusion. Now look at our world. Have you ever seen it like this before? Verse 12, that they all might be damned who believe not the truth. You see, it’s all about the truth. God’s truth, not the world’s truth. That changes from day to day. But had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So not only did the world. Reject His truth, but they have pleasure in unrighteousness. And I want you to take note of this word, pleasure. It doesn’t just mean that you enjoy something. It even means to think well of and approve of something. Have you approved of unrighteous acts, unrighteous behavior? Make sure that you don’t, because that’s exactly what God is talking about here.

Not just those who enjoy it, but those who approve of it. You do not approve of sinful things and say, God is okay with it. You do not conform to the sinful ways of the world and try telling yourself that, God said it’s okay. All right. I want to jump over to Amos chapter eight, verse 11. Okay. Amos chapter eight, verse 11.

God Will Send A Famine

All right. And it reads here, behold the days come. What days do you think that is? The Last Days. The End Times. Say it, the Lord, God, that I will send a famine. Who sends the famine? God’s sends the famine. Who sends the delusion? God sends the delusion. In the land and not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of God.

That’s the famine that He sends. For hearing the truth of this word right here. God sends that famine. Take a look at our world today. I mean, I hate saying this, but a lot of pastors have gone asleep now. They’ve gone asleep at the wheel, when people need help understanding the word. When people need spiritual guidance.

When people need encouragement, you’ve kind of gone asleep at the wheel and left people on their own. I mean, that’s what we’ve been sent into the world to do is to share this book, especially when the days get tough. We can’t just go crawl away. We got to keep sharing the word of God with people, no matter what’s going on in the world. No matter how difficult it is, maybe for us, because we all have problems in life.

Right. And you want to think about the main, the biggest religious institutions in the world. They’re making excuses for the world. They’re trying to distort God’s word and say that sinful behavior is okay. That we should conform to what government tells us, because you know, Hey, it’s the government. You know, and they’ll cite Romans or something for an example, Hey God said you follow the government.

As long as the government is not breaking God’s law. Okay. Government does not supersede the Bible. The Bible is above all. Okay. And then comes man down after down after that, but God sends the famine. How about that? He’s sending the delusion. He’s sending the famine. What else do you think He is sending? We’re going to learn about something else here in a moment. But now we’re going to go back over to second Timothy chapter four, verse three. Second, Timothy chapter four, verse three.

The Time Will Come

Let’s see what it says here, for the time will come. What time do you think that is? The Last Time, The End Times, The Last Days when God pours out this delusion on the people. When they will not endure sound doctrine. Who? The people of the world will not endure sound doctrine. They don’t want to hear it anymore.

They distort the word of God to no end, but after their own lust, their own lusts and desires, what are they going to do this time? They shall heap themselves teachers having itchy ears. Oh yeah. They want teachers that will tell them their sin is okay. That’s what they want. That’s what the people want nowadays.

They turn their ears away from the truth and that’s why God’s sending them the delusion and He’s going to keep piling it on. So keep watching the world because things are just going to keep getting worse and worse, but it won’t for you and your family. If you stay in the word and you adhere to what God said and don’t distort the meaning of the Bible. These are the people that have these itchy ears that took pleasure in unrighteousness.

They tell us we need to be equal and inclusive with one another. And we’re all in this together. That’s one worldism. Okay. That’s setting us up for the one world order, the new world order. And it has, and God has no part in that one world order. All right. This is a one world order of mankind and it is going to be fatally flawed.

They’re warping. They’re warping the word of God to fit in with the ways of the world. And they’re trying to tell you that it’s okay. They’re trying to tell you to conform to it. Christians do not conform to that. Okay. We stand by God through thick and thin. And when we do that, He will be there with us through thick and thin.

I don’t care how big of a monster the world may look, appear to be. Don’t forget about David and Goliath. That was a literal giant standing right before David and he took care of him. Did David take care of him? No, God did. God was with David, but David stood there and he did his part. Okay. Do not let the world scare you. We have a much bigger entity on our side than this world could ever be.

Turn Away Their Ears From The Truth

Verse four and they shall turn away their ears from the truth. Again, they turned away from the truth, the people of the world. And shall be turned unto fables. They’re turned to lies. They cast away the truth. They didn’t want any part of it.

Instead, they wanted to be entertained by these teachers who would tell them what they wanted to hear. Teachers that would tell them their sin is okay. It’s fables, it’s lie. It doesn’t hold up with God. That’s what you need to know. They received not the love of the truth. They’d been diluted. And when they start going this far, God’s going to pour on the delusion, and there ain’t much hope for them after that point.

So when you look at the world today and you’re wondering why it’s so messed up, it’s because the people have gone so far astray that God’s just pushing them the extra mile. He’s going to help them out with their delusion. At this point, that’s what’s happening now. He’s helping out with their delusion. So to us, Christians who are standing by God, we’re looking at the world, like what is going on?

This is what’s going on right now. You’re watching it unfold.

Watch And Endure Afflictions

Verse five, but watch thou in all things be a Watchman. That’s what you’re supposed to do. It doesn’t mean get sidetracked. It doesn’t mean go out in left field and every little thing that comes along, Oh, this means this or this means something, that’s not being a Watchman.

Okay. That’s not being a Watchman. A Watchman, it means watching for trends. You see what’s going on in the world. Then you think about a little bit. Then you pray about it, then you come read this book right here. See if it all lines up or not. It doesn’t mean you jumped to conclusions. All right. I want everybody to stay focused on what God said and stop listening to what man said.

Endure afflictions. There’s going to be trouble there’s trouble every day. And the more you stand for God, the more we have this separation that continues to take place. The more in afflictions that we are going to have to deal with. All right. More afflictions we’re going to have to deal with, it’s training camp though.

Be blessed. Jesus said when the world comes against you, you’ll be blessed for it because you’re doing it in His name. Don’t forget that.

Let’s go to Isaiah 66 verse four. Let’s do that. Isaiah 66 verse four.

God Will Choose Their Delusions

All right. Let’s read that one. I also will choose their delusions. God speaking, He’s telling you again, not only is he going to send delusion, but it’s going to be very specific for some people. He’s going to pick what delusion they’re going to get. And will bring their fears upon them. Because when I called none did answer.

When God calls are you answering? He’s calling on everybody right now. Anybody that will listen, anyone who’s not turning their ears away from the truth. Anyone who is not taking pleasure in unrighteousness, He’s calling you and your family right now. Are you hearing Him? Are you answering Him. When I speak? They did not hear, but they did evil before mine eyes and chose that in which I delighted not.

So instead of listening to God, they’re picking things that God doesn’t like. They chose, they delight in things that He does not like they don’t care about God. They have pleasure and unrighteousness, they threw away His truth. They don’t care. A separation. It clear separation caused by God’s delusion.

The delusion that God is sending rather, He is sending the delusion that is helping increase what we are seeing in the world, day by day. But you stand with God, it’s that important? He called, are you listening? Are you answering His call? It’s not hard to do. You just have to pick up this Bible and pray to Him and ask Him to help you.

I don’t care what you’re going through in life. He will be there with you, but you have to repent of whatever it is you did and be converted. That means be changed. You don’t go back to the same old stuff again. It’s easier said than done, but you can do it, because you’re going to reach out to God and you’re going to talk to Him about it.

When this separation continues to take place in our world. You want to be on God’s side. Okay. You don’t want to be off on this left field. You want to be on God’s side. He said fish out of the right side of the boat. It’s not a political statement. It’s what Jesus said. Okay. I want you to turn your Bible with me now to Deuteronomy chapter 28, verse 15, Deuteronomy 28:15.

It Shall Come To Pass

All right, let’s see where we’re at here. All right. But it shall come to pass. When is it going to come to pass? When you think? In The Last Days, in The Last Days, if thou will not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God to observe, to do all His commandments and His statutes, which I commanded thee this day.

Now this verse, it means. For any nation that does not follow God. Okay. That was all throughout history. But I mean, looking forward today from where we are our perspective, then this time that these things are going to come to pass is right now, which are The Last Days. These are The Last Days. All right. You can continue reading this whole chapter, the remainder of it.

And God’s going to tell you what cursings are going to come upon you, your family, your nation, if you don’t follow His word. All right. Jump down to verse 20 here.

The LORD Will Send Cursing, Vexation, And Rebuke

The Lord shall send upon thee cursings. God sends the cursings. God sends the famine. God sends the delusion. Vexation and rebuke in all that thou settest thine hand unto do until thou be destroyed.

And until thou perish quickly because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou has forsaken me. Boy, does that not wrap up the verses that we’ve been covering here? God’s the one who’s going to send these cursings, if you’re not following what He said. He’s going to send the cursings after you and your family.

All right. But if you’re watching this video, then it’s not coming after you because you love God or you wouldn’t still be watching it. You love God. So these cursings are going to go upon your enemy, but you have to stand strong because your enemy is going to look mean as the days go by. They’re going to be in your face more.

They’re going to tell you what to believe. They’re going to tell you this book of God, right here is trash. It’s not trash. It may cost you your job. It may cost you other things in life. It’s a separation that we’re talking about, but I guarantee you, if you stay true to God, He will stay, stay true to you. Always remember that.

“In The Last Days”, “The Days Come”, “The Time Will Come”.

So God sends the famine. God sends the delusion. And God sends the cursings. It’s here. Now, when did it say in these verses. We had quote in The Last Days, right. The days will come, and the time will come. We’ve had all those things. That’s what we’ve been told. I want you to remember the plagues of Egypt.

Remember those 10 plagues that came down, they had no effect on God’s children, right? Because they were there for God. They stood by God and they stood for God. So then when you do that, God is going to protect you and His plagues, His cursings, His delusion, His famine will only affect the negative people.

The ones who delighted in unrighteousness, who had pleasure in it, who approved of it. Okay. Let’s jump over to Proverbs 15:29.

God Hears The Prayers Of The Righteous

I want you to think about. While you turn there, I’m just going to explain. You know, you just keep, as the days, go by, just keep praying to God to help you understand what’s going on in the world to help you understand His word and how it pertains to the world and your life. Okay.

And these verses here are going to provide you a little bit of comfort and encouragement. So verse 29 says, the Lord is far from the wicked. He’s not even close to the wicked as we’ve learned, right. He’s sending famine their way, delusion their way, cursings their way. They’re going to get the whole thing.

But not you. But He heareth, the prayer of the righteous. God hears the prayer of the righteous. He hears your prayers because you’re standing by Him. So always remember that. So don’t get discouraged by what’s going on in the world. And when you think about these plagues and things and these things that God is going to unleash on the world, you remember that you’re protected.

All right. You’re sealed against that stuff. There’s one more verse. We’ve got to cover. Luke 16:15. All right. Luke 16:15, turn there with me. I know we kind of jumped around a lot, but I think it’ll be worth it here.

Stand For What Is Right, Stand For God

All right. 16:15. And He said unto them, ye are they, which justify yourselves before men. Some people justify themselves before men, instead of before God. Equality inclusiveness, and they go along with it, they push the company line. Hey, maybe the church line, even what’s being taught in your church. But God knoweth your hearts.

God knows your hearts. You can fool men. Oh, it’s easy to fool men, but you cannot fool God. Ain’t happening. He knows your hearts. He knows what you’re thinking. For that, which is highly esteemed among men is an abomination in the sight of God. You hear that? What is esteemed among men is an abomination of God.

So you think about these things, like what is portrayed on television and when you. What we see on TV and movies and this sort of thing. What, what society promotes is an abomination of God. But those people that are promoting it, maybe movie stars or people wearing suits, big wigs at companies. You know, they may be looked highly upon by the world, but not necessarily by God.

And just, and I’m not saying all of those people are bad. Okay. You can tell them by their works, right. If they’re good or they’re not, but a lot of people will do things in life because it makes them look good in front of other people. God doesn’t want that. Remember the word pleasure. It means to think well of, and even approve of something.

So you have people at companies they’re helping setting policy for equality and inclusiveness this one worldism type stuff. God’s completely against it. They do it so they look good in other people’s eyes, but they look dreadful horrible in God’s eyes. And you don’t want that. You do not want that. You want to be on God’s side and His good grace.

So look, we’re going to keep watching this delusion unfold as the days, carry on. We’re going to continue to watch this famine, which is going to get worse by the day, but it doesn’t need to affect you and your family. God brings about the delusion. He’s bringing it about, what we are seeing today.

Look, that’s going to do it for this one.

Thank you so much for joining us.
