How Does The Media Influence People?

When we consider how the human mind works, we typically gravitate to those who share similar thoughts and experiences that we have. It can be political, religious, and so on. That is just human nature.

Unfortunately, our enemies which are God’s enemies know this very well. Due to that, the enemy is able to control and influence our thoughts and feelings through psychological warfare. One of the ways this psychological war is waged against the people is in the form of “media”.

In today’s world, we have all forms of media; mainstream media, alternative media, social media, and let’s not forget; books, magazines, and movies as well. Nearly all of these media streams are controlled by our enemy, this is called “controlled opposition” which exists at the government level as well.

We have media for those on the left, and we have media for those on the right. The perfect setup. Naturally, the people then cling to the media preference that mostly aligns with their thoughts. That media outlet or perspective then becomes their source of truth. Which is rarely if ever questioned, as long as it fits into the general mold of their viewpoint.

The media in all forms riles us up, tells us who the bad guy is, and who we should be upset with. However, this does nothing to solve any real problems for the people, it only serves as a way to further divide the people. Something Jesus Christ warned us of, (Matthew 12:25).

We should understand, the media’s influence on our mind is a form of thought control, a psychological war of manipulation that is waged against the people every single day. A war most of the population does not even know exists.

In the end, the media’s influence on our mind is designed to divide us, so our nation can be destroyed in order to bring about a new global order.

In this article, we explain this psychological war against the people has existed in the form of “media” for at least two hundred years.

Rockefeller Thanks The Controlled Media

David Rockefeller provided us with a prime example in his 2002 book Memoirs, when he said,

We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years.

It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”

Rockefeller went on to say,

Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

For decades the media remained silent and concealed the Rockefeller’s plan for global government. Instead of reporting on these critically important matters, the media suppressed this information so we could not become aware of this dark globalist agenda.

The fact Rockefeller openly admitted to such an agenda, truly displays how much power his family welded over the media and our government. If he did not, and if our government was against his agenda, they would have banished his family from our nation. Instead, the Rockefellers would be considered distinguished guests at a government function.

Nevertheless, the media’s influence on our mind continues to this day. They tell us what to believe, and what is true or false. All forms of media conspire against the people, what Rockefeller admitted was nothing new.

In fact, our enemy’s control over the media has always existed.

Nothing Can Be Believed In The Newspaper

It was Thomas Jefferson, one of our Founding Fathers who wrote in 1807.

Nothing can now be believed which is seen in a newspaper. Truth itself becomes suspicious by being put into that polluted vehicle. The real extent of this state of misinformation is known only to those who are in situations to confront facts within their knowledge with the lies of the day. I really look with commiseration over the great body of my fellow citizens, who, reading newspapers, live & die in the belief, that they have known something of what has been passing in the world in their time; whereas the accounts they have read in newspapers are just as true a history of any other period of the world as of the present, except that the real names of the day are affixed to their fables. General facts may indeed be collected from them, such as that Europe is now at war, that Bonaparte has been a successful warrior, that he has subjected a great portion of Europe to his will, &c., &c.; but no details can be relied on. I will add, that the man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them; inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods & errors. He who reads nothing will still learn the great facts, and the details are all false.

Thomas Jefferson to John Norvell, June 11, 1807

Read the last part in bold once more, let it sink in.

Yes, “misinformation” in the media existed even in Thomas Jefferson’s era. The enemy is always among us seeking to pollute and condition our minds to the ways of a world they desire. This psychological war against the people continues little by little, day by day, and becomes worse over the generations.

I found Jefferson’s simple observation astounding. He summed up the entire point of my article, Think, Think, Think. Jefferson’s observation in the modern era would mean, if we turn off the news and social media, we will have more truth than if we had tuned into the programming.

Let that sink in.

As Rockefeller reminded us, that is because media works for the betterment of those pushing a global agenda. Not those pushing for a better Christian people and America. In fact, the only information we receive from the media is what benefits evil.

There Is No New Thing Under The Sun

As I thought about these things, the Bible came to mind. It is the only form of media where you are guaranteed to find the truth.

So I reminded myself of this Biblical fact.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

God told us long ago, there is nothing new under the sun. Whatever has occurred before will occur again. It is like a cycle that repeats over and over again.

This also reminded me of 2 Thessalonians 2:7 which tells us, “the mystery of iniquity doth already work”, and that was 2,000 years ago.

This simply tells us, my observations are not new. Just as the observations of Thomas Jefferson were not new. Instead, our enemy, the Devil has been working tirelessly against us.

The enemy has always sought to confuse and divide us. Then we foolishly fall into their trap by absorbing all forms of media and the political parties which they control. We then amplify our problems, by not consulting the Word of God, in a meaningful way.
