Are We Worried About COVID Or Profit?

Did I ever tell you the world makes me sick?

I tell you what, if I never wrote another article about COVID-19, I would be a happy camper. Yet, one headline caught my eye this morning that I wanted to share with you.

CNBC explains, several business groups are asking the White House, to delay implementing Biden’s mandate… Until after the busy holiday season!

Say what?

Hypocrisy!!!

First off,

  • If these organizations are so worried about dying from the dreadful COVID virus, then why don’t they implement their own health guidelines?
  • Why are they waiting for Hidin’ Biden to do it for them?

I’ll tell you why…

It’s all political BS that’s why.

Everyone wants to blow with the wind and do what seems popular, to be popular with the world. That’s going with the ways of the world, Christian’s don’t do that. We follow Christ.

How about these Exec’s grow a backbone and look at this COVID thing for what it is…

Overhyped BS.

Sorry folks, that’s it.

We are 21 months into this COVID thing.

How much longer do we all want to play along?

I was done before it started.

Yet, this whole thing reminded me of a video I did in July 2020. The overall point there was, how long do we want to play this game?

Oddly enough, 21 months later, we are still doing it.

But I digress…

Exec’s Care About Profit Not Your Health

I want you to read a quote from that CNBC article,

White House officials at the Office of Management and Budget held dozens of meetings with labor unions, industry lobbyists and private individuals last week as the administration conducts its final review of the mandate, which will require businesses with 100 or more employees to ensure they are vaccinated against Covid or tested weekly for the virus. It is estimated to cover roughly two-thirds of the private sector workforce.

So there you have it.

That’s the plan.

If you have a company with more than 100 employees, thou shalt be jabbed if Biden decrees it.

That’s not my America, maybe it’s yours, but I will never comply with that.

Live free or die as they say.

Notice, around 33% of the nation would be affected if this mandate goes through.

Now here is the kicker…

The National Retail Federation, the trucking association and the retail leaders group are asking White House officials to give businesses 90 days to comply with the mandate, delaying implementation until late January at the earliest.

Did you read that?

Did you follow the reasoning?

These people are dirty rotten scoundrels!

They want you to work for them during the holiday season, when companies actually turn a profit.

THEN they want to CAN you for not getting vaccinated after they make their riches!

You see, they could give a rip about COVID.

Instead, they want to play the COVID game when it’s convenient for their bottom line. Their concern is not about anyone’s health, their concern is about the almighty dollar.

They want that profit baby, your health be damned!

Are we really so blind we cannot see through this charade?

The big powerful boys use the little guy to work for them so they can spin the big bucks. IE: Bezos. If we all quit, sure, we would suffer, but those scoundrels would suffer more. Their power and wealth would diminish.

Let me tell you another thing.

God doesn’t like greedy people.

God doesn’t like liars and cheats.

These people are both.

Let me Bible thump you a bit this morning.

The Love Of Money Is The Root Of All Evil

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

The love of money is what the world chases after.

Not Christians, we chase after Christ.

Now every day, we wake up to go make a buck.

Yet, there is a fine line to be drawn here. Families make a buck to provide and raise their families. Not to become so excessively rich that we do not care about our fellow man.

These business Exec’s only care about making a buck. If they were concerned with COVID, they would have put forward their own mandate if it’s what they truly believed in.

Yet, every human being always has control over their own body. If you do not, then you are not a free person. If you are forced to do anything against your will, you are not a free person.

Desire To Be Rich And Fall Into Temptation

1 Timothy 6:9
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

This word “will” means “intend”, some Bible’s translate it “desire”.

Those who desire to be rich fall into the temptations of the world. IE: these business Exec’s we are talking about. They are not concerned with their fellow man. They only want to profit off of his back and trash him when they got their money out of him.

What does God think about people like that?

The Riches Of The Rich Are A Witness Against Them

Listen to God’s Word.

James 5:1-3
1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Not only is God’s Word talking about greedy people, but He even explains their riches will be a witness against them. They heap riches for themselves, even in the Last Days.

I might add, especially in the Last Days.

How are their riches a witness against them?

We talked about that in James Chapter 5.

By seeking and obtaining excessive riches, it becomes obvious the individual is not concerned with their fellow man. Instead, they use their fellow man to help reap more gain for themselves.

Daniel never did that.

Remember when Daniel was promoted in king Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom, (Daniel 2:48)?

What did he do, take it all for himself?

Nope.

He brought up his three friends; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, (Daniel 2:49).

Daniel didn’t look out for uno-numero. He looked out for his friends and brought them up with him. He cared about other people besides himself.

That is what good and honest men and women do. They can obtain wealth, but they better not do it by taking advantage of others or forcing them to do things they do not want to do.
