Congress Passes Anti-Christian, Pro-LGBT Equality Act

Just hours after yesterday’s article, the U.S. Congress passed the anti-Christian Equality Act. This bill aims to radically alter society by forcing the homosexual LGBTQ agenda on everyone.

People who identify as LGBTQ amount to just 1-5% of the population. They live a lifestyle that goes against nature, and thousands of years of human history. Despite that fact, our government wants to force their lifestyle on the rest of us, including our children.

Summary Of The Equality Act

Here is the summary of The Equality Act;

Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity

This bill prohibits discrimination based on sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity in areas including public accommodations and facilities, education, federal funding, employment, housing, credit, and the jury system.

We will go into detail on this bill in a moment, but I want you to consider what this means right here. If this bill becomes law, it will be considered discrimination if you refuse service to someone who is homosexual, even if based on your Christian beliefs.

Applies To All Gathers

The bill expands the definition of public accommodations to include places or establishments that provide (1) exhibitions, recreation, exercise, amusement, gatherings, or displays; (2) goods, services, or programs; and (3) transportation services.

“Gatherings”, even Christian gatherings.

Men Who Identify As Female Can Enter Women’s Restrooms

The bill prohibits an individual from being denied access to a shared facility, including a restroom, a locker room, and a dressing room, that is in accordance with the individual’s gender identity.

If this bill becomes law;

• It will be legal for a man who wants to be a woman (transgender) to enter the bathroom your wife and daughter use.
• It will be legal for a man who wants to be a woman to use the same locker room as your wife and daughter.

If you have an issue with that and intervene, you will be considered a criminal and lose in a court of law. This is your government, this is your new America, void of God.

No Religious Exemptions

The 2021 version of this bill does not include the following quote in the summary. However, this quote was included in the summary for the 2020 bill which does still in fact apply to the bill just passed.

Protections against discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin shall include protections against discrimination based on (1) an association with another person who is a member of such a protected class; or (2) a perception or belief, even if inaccurate, that an individual is a member of such a protected class. The bill prohibits the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 from providing a claim, defense, or basis for challenging such protections.

There will be no religious exemptions to the radical Equality Act. LGBTQ individuals are now considered “a protected class”.

How exactly is that “equal” and “inclusive” when it excludes the Christian?

This means your Christian organization is no longer protected by the law. It means, if you are accused of discrimination, you can have your 501c3 revoked by the government, in addition to any other penalties they deem to excise upon your organization.

The Equality Act

That was only the summary, so I decided to read the entire Equality Act this morning.

The bill seeks to modify the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to include those who identify as LGBTQ. In fact, repeatedly, the bill modifies the Civil Rights Act by including the phrase,

“Sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity)”

Our government has essentially slipped homosexual behavior into the Civil Rights Act. The government is saying, discriminating against someone who is homosexual is akin to discriminating against someone of color, and is illegal and punishable by law.

Look, I do not treat anyone any different in life. If someone is homosexual, that is their business, it’s certainly not mine. We do not discriminate against anyone. Further, we do not need our government modifying laws with verbiage that goes against nature and common sense.

By slipping that definition into the Civil Rights Act, the government then goes on to further modify what this means for every American.

Equality Act Applies To Every Business

Under “SEC. 3. PUBLIC ACCOMMODATIONS.” of the Equality Act, it is stated the bill applies to;

“(4) any establishment that provides a good, service, or program, including a store, shopping center, online retailer or service provider, salon, bank, gas station, food bank, service or care center, shelter, travel agency, or funeral parlor, or establishment that provides health care, accounting, or legal services;

“(5) any train service, bus service, car service, taxi service, airline service, station, depot, or other place of or establishment that provides transportation service; and”.

You just read amendments to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which inserts; “Sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity)” into its text.

Real Life Application:

If you are a Christian baker for example, and you refuse service to someone who is LGBTQ, based on your Biblical belief, you are now considered a lawbreaker by your government. If you are sued, you will lose if this bill becomes law.

Any LGBTQ individual can accuse Christians of discrimination and financially ruin them, simply for refusing service. Don’t have shoes and a shirt, it does not matter if they are homosexual. They are a “protected class”.

Equality Act Provides LGBTQ Unfair And Illogical Advantages

Under “SEC. 701A. RULES OF CONSTRUCTION.” of The Equality Act, it modifies the term “SEX,” and inserts “SEX (INCLUDING SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER IDENTITY) into the Civil Rights Act.

In addition, the government then makes the following modifications to the Civil Rights Act:

(3) in subsection (e)(1), by striking “enterprise,” and inserting “enterprise, if, in a situation in which sex is a bona fide occupational qualification, individuals are recognized as qualified in accordance with their gender identity,”

The Equality Act’s modification of the Civil Rights Act would mean any gender specific job could now be obtained by someone who claims to be the gender that is required for the job.

Simply say, “I am a man”, when you are a female would render you as “qualified” due to your gender identity. This is unfair and does not make common sense.

Additional Thought:

To show you how damaging this proposed law will be. If you requested a female doctor, and a male transgender doctor comes into the room, and you refuse to use that doctor, you have just discriminated against them and can be sued, and you will lose.

Gender Identity Over Biology

Under “SEC. 1101. DEFINITIONS AND RULES. we are told,

“(2) GENDER IDENTITY.—The term ‘gender identity’ means the gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, regardless of the individual’s designated sex at birth.

Actual science is now being thrown out the door in order to appease the sinful and mental deficiencies of some people. Your government is going to enforce this upon you, your taxes will pay for your own enslavement.

No Religious Exemptions

Under “SEC. 1107. CLAIMS. we are told,

“The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993 (42 U.S.C. 2000bb et seq.) shall not provide a claim concerning, or a defense to a claim under, a covered title, or provide a basis for challenging the application or enforcement of a covered title.”.

That means, this law that once protected Christians is no longer valid when it comes to the “protected class” of LGBTQ individuals.

How quickly our government forgets the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Congress, the evildoers who just passed The Equality Act are forbade from making laws such as The Equality Act. They are forbidden from limiting our free exercise of Christianity in this nation.

The Bible, God’s Word makes it abundantly clear, homosexual behavior is an abomination in His eyes.

Christians cannot accept homosexuality into the church, they cannot accept homosexuality into their own lifestyles and conform to such laws. Otherwise, we are in danger of breaking God’s Law which is far superior to man’s law.
