The Implosion of the Middle East and its Biblical Elements

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The violence in the Middle East is quickly spinning out of control. The events that have occurred over the past few years have escalated to new heights. Iraq is now embroiled in a civil war whether they officially recognize it or not. Two days ago another 33 people were killed in Baghdad in a car bomb explosion that rocked the capital.

The spike in violence, which has gained momentum since the middle of the month, is raising worries that Iraq is heading back toward the widespread sectarian bloodletting that spiked in 2006 and 2007 and pushed the country to the brink of civil war.

More than 500 people have been killed in May. The month before was Iraq’s deadliest since June 2008, according to a United Nations tally that put April’s death toll at more than 700.

“Iraq is a reactor that’s overheating and there’s little coolant available,” said Ramzy Mardini, an analyst at the Beirut-based Iraq Institute for Strategic Studies. “Iraq’s nascent politics is not quipped to sustain the current dangerous levels of internal and external pressure. There needs to be an off-ramp to relieve some of the pressure.”

Today, we see Syria caught up in a “civil war” of their own which just so happens to be funded by western governments. These tensions continue to build as Syria has been attacked by Israel at least three times over the past month that we are aware of. This violence will continue to escalate, it will not dissipate. In addition, Russia has moved their warships to the Mediterranean in an effort to strengthen their ally Syria. It is also claimed Russia has delivered to Syria the famed S-300 anti-air missile system.

All of this action is occurring in countries where the Euphrates River runs through them. Why is this important? In Revelation 9:14 we learn.

“Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

These are not good angels my friends, as you only bind those who are evil. We have not yet reached that six trumpet but the time draws nigh. Let this be no great mystery to you.

Reference the map above, the Euphrates River flows from Turkey, though Syria, Iraq and last but not least Iran (Daniel 8) before flowing into the Persian Gulf. Turkey has been deeply involved in this conflict with Syria. They have now sealed off their border with Syria in addition to having a U.S. missile system put in place. It is very apparent the only way this conflict in Syria will end is with the fulfillment of Isaiah 17:1 which states, “Damascus shall be a ruinous heap” before the end of this age. In essence, we have another Middle East prophecy that is quickly approaching. We can find that in the great book of Daniel chapter 8. This is a war with Persia which is Iran of today. This is an event that could literally break out at any point…

The point being, we are witnessing these events right before our very eyes. It is extremely important to be aware of these Biblical Elements. As these prophecies rapidly come to pass, we will witness super-natural elements on this earth.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” – Revelation 12:9

Many are not ready for these super-natural elements. Satan will be on earth and his fallen angels will be with him. The same fallen angels who were of Noah’s time which took themselves wives and bear children unto them (Jude 1:6). These “children” were known as the Nephiliam who are the giants we read about in the Bible.

Be aware of what is going on around you and why it is occurring as Christ stated, “I have foretold you all things.” So let these rumblings and wars not be a mystery to you as to why they are occurring and spinning out of control. God’s Word clarifies all things and these things will continue to get worse not better. With that said, we are well past the hour in which we should be spiritually on guard (Ephesians 6). Stay awake my friends the hour draweth nigh…

Comfort yourself with these words, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”Luke 21:28
