Social Media Escalates Removal Of Content

Before I had my first sip of coffee this morning, I found three new articles explaining Google and YouTube removed more content from their platforms. “What now”, you sigh…

Google

The Washington Times reports Google has now removed content from individuals Google Drive accounts. You know, the free online file storage service. For the record, nothing in life is free kiddos. Any product or service billed as free means you are the product.

So what did Google ban this time?

A documentary we shared called, “Plandemic”. Now I was not too high on the film myself, but to outright ban it? That is certainly wrong. We all put our trust in social media and the search giants so we could share our ideas freely, or so we thought.

YouTube

Then YouTube decided to pull a film called, “Planet of the Humans” from their platform as the film explains green energy is a scam. Look, just because the fine folks at YouTube disagree with the film does not give YouTube the right to remove content. At least, it should not…

We talked about restrictions on our free speech years ago. The government itself has been trying to censor all sorts of speech, even the speech of bloggers. Seven years later, it looks like we are basically there, just through another avenue.

Oh yes, YouTube also deleted comments that seemed to insult the Chinese Communist party. YouTube did this across their entire platform.

Is it legal?

Sure. Social media are private platforms though they are open to the public. They suckered us all in and made them rich and powerful, and now they are stomping on the little guy. Almost like it was a trap ehh?

Folks, there are many other alternative platforms popping up across the internet. If the people become silenced, the only truth we will get is what comes from the government and mainstream media. You might want to think about that.
