The Temple of Baal Comes To The United States

The United States escalated their march down the road of perversion after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of homosexual marriage last year. Continuing that march, now a replica of the Temple of Baal is coming to New York this month all in honor of “World Heritage Week“.

Next month (April 2016), the Temple of Baal will come to Times Square. Reproductions of the 50-foot arch that formed the temple’s entrance are to be installed in New York and in London, a tribute to the 2,000-year-old structure that the Islamic State destroyed last year in the Syrian town of Palmyra. The group’s rampage through Palmyra, a city that reached its peak in the second and third century A.D., enraged the world, spurring scholars and conservationists into action. Numerous nongovernmental organizations are now cataloging and mapping damaged cultural heritage sites in the region. – NY Times

The Institute for Digital Archaeology is creating these abominations known as the Temple of Baal and they plan to install a 1,000 of these around the globe according to the NY Post. This institute was established from efforts by Harvard University, Oxford University in Great Britain and Dubai’s Museum of the Future.

Baal was an ancient heathen god who the Israelites worshiped in defiance of our Father.  Please turn your Bible with me to,

Jeremiah 19:5
5They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:”

Not only is Baal worship in defiance of our Father, but a part of that worship included offering their children as a burnt sacrifice to Baal who is none other than Satan essentially as all false gods link back to him. How sick and disgusting to think this vial temple is coming to our nation in “honor” of World Heritage week. Then again this nation destroys millions of their own children through abortion.

Judges 2:11,13
11 “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord, and served Baalim:”

13 “And they forsook the Lord, and served Baal and Ashtaroth.”

It should be abundantly clear to us Baal worship is against our Father and it goes all the way back to ancient Babylon. We have further documentation of this and other false gods in our study titled, “Is the Easter Holiday Biblical, How Does God Feel About It?“.

I find it interesting the Temple of Baal is coming to the U.S. this month (April), a month when we celebrate Passover which is the Highest Holy Day in Christianity though few Christians even realize that fact. Instead we celebrate false holidays and replace Christ with bunnies and colored eggs. We welcome heathen gods and their temples to our country, but we reject Christ at every opportunity.

As Ecclesiastes 1:9 states, “there is no new thing under the sun“. Please turn your Bible with me to,

1 Kings 18:17
17 “And it came to pass, when Ahab saw Elijah, that Ahab said unto him, Art thou he that troubleth Israel?”

Ahab really had some nerve, after all it was Ahab who was the king of Israel at this time that “did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him,” (1 Kings 16:29-33).

1 Kings 18:18-19
18 “And he answered, I have not troubled Israel; but thou, and thy father’s house, in that ye have forsaken the commandments of the LORD, and thou hast followed Baalim.”

19 “Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel’s table.”

Elijah was definitely out numbered, but with our Father on our side we always have the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57).

1 Kings 18:20-21
20 “So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel.”

21 “And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.”

This is our choice today as it was then and in The First Earth Age. We either follow our Father or we are following Satan. There is no middle ground.

1 Kings 18:22
22 “Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men.”

Elijah was making a grand stand for our Father though he was outnumbered by flesh men. I want everyone to think of the courage it must have taken to accomplish this. Just as we see with the Temple of Baal coming to the U.S. there will be many who will embrace it and very few who will stand against it. While Elijah was the only one standing for God we know our Father had seven thousand in the land of Israel that did not bow before the false god of Baal (1 Kings 19:18, Note: 7,000 in the land of Israel, not throughout the world).

1 Kings 18:23
23 “Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under:”

What we have here is a contest essentially to see who’s god would provide…

1 Kings 18:24
24 “And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.”

What a bunch of fools. After all the miracles and wonders that were handed down from generation to generation the people still worshiped false gods and even sacrificed their own children for them. Talk about heathen, these people are the very definition of it.

1 Kings 18:25
25 “And Elijah said unto the prophets of Baal, Choose you one bullock for yourselves, and dress it first; for ye are many; and call on the name of your gods, but put no fire under.”

Elijah is giving them first pick and told them to call on the name of their gods, plural not just Baal, but instead telling them to use them all. Do you think any of their gods will answer? Of course not. Their gods are sticks and stones “which neither see, nor hear, nor eat, nor smell,” (Deuteronomy 4:28-31).

1 Kings 18:26
26 “And they took the bullock which was given them, and they dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even until noon, saying, O Baal, hear us. But there was no voice, nor any that answered. And they leaped upon the altar which was made.”

The people of today are not so different. They lay aside our Father and embrace wickedness. The Temple of Baal coming to the United States is a prime example. This nation was built by Christian men and woman, this nation has seen the biggest blessings in the history of the earth yet they have thrown it away and instead embrace lies and deception.

1 Kings 18:27
27 “And it came to pass at noon, that Elijah mocked them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.”

Elijah is having a little bit of fun with them at this point and can you blame him? While they cry out to none existent gods our Father hears our voices and prayers and even bottles them (Psalms 116:1-2, Revelation 5:8).

1 Kings 18:28
28 “And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them.”

They offered their own blood just to hear their gods voice , yet our God offered His Blood so we could live.

1 Kings 18:29
29 “And it came to pass, when midday was past, and they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded.”

Their gods failed them, yet our God “will not fail thee, nor forsake thee,” (Deuteronomy 31:6).

1 Kings 18:30
30 “And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down.”

The altar they previously destroyed.

1 Kings 18:31
31 “And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name:”

God’s Word and the actions that involve Him are always done in an orderly fashion.

1 Kings 18:32
32 “And with the stones he built an altar in the name of the LORD: and he made a trench about the altar, as great as would contain two measures of seed.”

I want you to stop, think and try to grasp the situation here. Everyone has rejected our Father and wickedness is reigning supreme. Elijah is standing by himself for the Lord. Hundreds of people surround him at this time. Their gods have failed them and Elijah is setting out to prove to them our God is real. He stacks these stones one by one to rebuild the altar of the Lord not to build a name for himself, but to prove to the people Jehovah (Yehôvâh) is our God and He reigns!

1 Kings 18:33
33 “And he put the wood in order, and cut the bullock in pieces, and laid him on the wood, and said, Fill four barrels with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice, and on the wood.”

While the Baal worshipers no doubt used the driest wood they could find we have Elijah pouring water on the altar and on the wood, four barrels no less and he will repeat this three times.

1 Kings 18:34-37
34 “And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.”

35 “And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.”

36 “And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.”

37Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.”

Elijah did this in order to document to the people the God we serve is the Living God who has stated, “there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever,” (Deuteronomy 32:39-40).

1 Kings 18:38
38Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.”

Not only did the water logged wood ignite, the fire was so hot it consumed the stones, dirt and the water that was in the trench. This was a miraculous event brought about by our Father.

1 Kings 18:39
39And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.”

It always amazes me how it takes such miracles for the people to believe in God and recognize Him, yet it takes nothing to believe in a false god. That in itself documents to me how easily people can be led astray by Satan.

1 Kings 18:40
40 “And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.”

When you fail to follow our Father there will always be a price to pay. Our Father will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7). While the “great leaders” of our time continue to remove God from our nations, they cannot remove Him from our hearts.

As we move further down the road of these end times we will continue to see more and more of these abominable acts. It is at these times we need to diligently seek our Father’s Word and truly understand “there is no new thing under the sun“. Simply meaning we have an answer and most likely a type in the Bible if we only seek it out (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

Remember, “all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come,” (1 Corinthians 10:11). As we continue to see these abominable acts take place “then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh,” (Luke 21:28).

I pray this study has provided you with some understanding and historical context of the false god Baal.

  1. things happening today remind me of the exodus..we were freed from a king into a land of freedom and now people want to forget who brought us here and established us. They would rather take all the credit and fight among themselves and cry about how bad we have it now instead of giving thanks for what we have. Things would be so much better if we hadn’t pushed God out of our country. They don’t want to learn from past mistakes and they are repeating them yet again. Take God out of the equation and nothing will stand. It’s like building a house on loose sand foundation. You build your house on the rock if you expect it to stand, anything less than that is all vanity and empty.

  2. Not sorry to say it

This is about as stupid as erecting koolaid stands in every town in honor of the jim jones massacre.

  3. Christianity is under attack in this country. Good thing we read the book or I’d be worried

  4. okay, I understand all this, but exactly where is it to be built in NYC? I am not familiar with this city at all. Is it going to be built across the road, so people will walk or drive through it? or is it going to be in a lot? / where they could add to it later? Have they started the construction yet?

Thank you for bringing this current abomination to my attention, Brandon. I almost forgot about the fires of Molech practice that went “hand in hand” with the grove worship, and the fire burning was most likely the highlight of the baal festival. God’s word and the way he teaches us; i.e. by history repeating itself; just goes to show and prepare us for the fact that the king of Babylon is returning to this world sooner than later; for apostasy is running rampant once again throughout the “whole world”; and just in time for the antichrist to come and deceive ALL those whose names are not written in the Lambs Book of Life.
Also, a thousand of these temples are being recreated!! Do you think a thousand of these temples will be enough? Talk about overkill…!!!! Come Yeshua, come!

FUNNY how this seems to violate only one book – THE BIBLE. No other book.

So this book must be a warning and the TRUTH!

    Obey God and live!

  7. Why can’t pastors see they defile God’s house with bunnies, egg hunts, Christmas trees, elves, Santa Claus, trunk or treat, harvest festivals etc, etc? Get ready to be mocked to scorn trying to point it out. The church as lost her salt!

    • Amos 8 11 they can’t see the truth. The truth doesn’t get past that veil of blindness God placed over their spiritual eyes

  8. Perfect scripture to draw upon considering this abomination, and probably one of my favorite Bible stories ever…Elijah standing alone amongst his own people, turning his people’s hearts back to the true Father. Some of us may be doing something similar in the times to come….Standing against the false one while all our people, our families, will stand with the son of perdition, believing him to be god. But we’ll do it…and our Father YHVH will once and for all convince His people that he is God.

Yeah Jack, it is one of my favorite real stories of the Bible as well! I always liked PAM reading of it when he adds: “hey, maybe your god is out taking a potty break” LOL! Best ending of it is when Elijah slays all the false prophets in a righteous and acceptable sacrifice to our true Father. Yeah, take that baal worshippers!

  9. Baal worship was simply an ancient form of Satanism. Jezebel was the daughter of King Ethbaal of Tyre who was an ardent Baal worshipper. Jezebel was a Satanic High Priestess, a real witch. She had 450 prophets of Baal and 400 prophets of the groves. She put the true ministers of God to death. Her husband used his political office as she directed to further the power of darkness. We are simply now seeing history repeat itself.

Next they will be erecting grove worship. Notice Jezebel sent out the Baal priest to take a stand against Elijah the prophet of YHVH, but kept back the priests of the grove tells us what she was really fond of the sex orgies. (1 Kings 18-19)

  10. Thank you for that refresher course on that Topical Study, Brandon!
    Great job!
A replica of the Temple of Baal…in New York…all in honor of “World Heritage Week“.????
    UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!
    That…I was *not* aware of!
Signs of the times, in this Generation of the “Fig Tree”!
Well…we would continue the *WATCH*…while we share with whomsoever will…until our Lord returns! We shall continue working in the “field”! Matthew 24:39-43.
Some things they never change! Talk about a “STIFFNECKED” / STUBBORN people! It certainly seems like this is blatant *DEFIANCE / REJECTION* of our Heavenly Father once again…with lots of help from the Kenites and their *useful idiots*…I’m sure!

Exodus 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Exodus 33:3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

    Deuteronomy 9:6

Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good land to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people.

    Deuteronomy 9:13

Furthermore the LORD spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:

    Deuteronomy 10:16

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be *no* more stiffnecked. *****YET EVEN TODAY…THEY DO *NOT* HEED!

    Acts 7:51

Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
*****NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN! We’ve pretty much hashed out on the following verse, Brandon…(1 Kings 19:18, Note: 7,000 in the land of Israel, not throughout the world).I do hold a bit different perspective, especially that Paul speaks of this in Romans 11:4 and made that a part of the N.T. as you already know…however, with the help of the Lord…I’ll keep plowing away at that to see where it will lead me. The O.T is our Schoolmaster…and that is very well stated in a different way, in the following verse which you’ve already shared>>>>(Ecclesiastes 1:9). Remember, “all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come,”I believe that God allowed that verse to be brought forward to the N.T. also….to let it be known that, in these Last Days…He has His army, inclusive of that 7000…out
    there… that are ready to
make a stand for the Lord….and will *NOT* bow to Baal / Antichrist or his unGodly System. But be that as it may…it’s just a different perspective, as we search out God’s / Christ’s Truths.I was very much looking forward to this Study, Brandon…we are Blessed to have you in God’s Service on WEB…helping us keep the *WATCH* from a Christian perspective!
May God continue to Bless, lead, guide, direct and touch you…and all those who earnestly seek His Truths!
A Blessed early Passover, to you Brandon, yours…. and all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ!
p.s. In the 2nd paragraph Brandon, that should be *This* month…instead of “Next month”…but we get it…for you do have a date there also.

    • Happy Passover to you and your daughters as well EyeonGod and thank you for the kind words. We are just happy to help others as long as He allows it.

The second paragraph is a quote from the NY Times. Those are not my words, so that is taken from their article from last month which is why they said “next month” meaning April. I put in parenthesis “(April 2016)” as people a year or three down the road will read this study and it will give them perspective.

With respect to the 7,000 we have hashed it over. My point here in that part of the study was to consider the global population at that time which was only several million people. Today there are more than seven billion souls on earth. So the more I research that topic I just do not see the proof you do of only 7,000 standing for God. Remember ol Elijah was standing all by himself. With respect to the New Testament Paul was just repeating what was already written in Kings.

      Romans 11:4
      4
“But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.”

      Let us keep reading.

      Romans 11:5
      5
“Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.”

Paul did not say the remnant of his time was only 7,000, he said there is still a remnant and there always will be as you already know. I believe it is 144,000 which I believe scripture documents. Here are some more links from the past on this subject for everyone’s reference.

Notice how they don’t resurrect any of the numerous Christian monuments and churches destroyed by ISIS no they only replicate things that are an abomination to GOD!

Is anyone trying to stop this? Can we? If we who call ourselves Christian’s don’t stand against it prayerfully and physically then we are allowing the abomination to run amuck; turning our inches into miles.
Does anyone know of someone or an organization that can stand against this?
We are that organization Christian brothers and sisters. We need more than ever to battle on our knees and pray that God sends a lightning bolt with the strongest voltage to destroy this abomination. Follow Eligah’s example. Amen
