I cannot help but think this was a campaign ploy, if Trump was losing the Christian vote, he certainly won it back. However, that statement assumes that Joe Biden is even a challenger. What a sorry state of affairs we live under today.
Alright, let’s stay focused and see what Trump said during his address.
“The governors need to do the right thing and allow these very important essential places of faith to open right now–for this weekend,” Trump said. “If they don’t do it, I will override the governors.”
That is where the executive order part comes in. An illegal executive order to remove the illegal lockdown restrictions imposed by governments. I just cannot get over that myself.
Trump also stated,
“Some governors have deemed the liquor stores and abortion clinics as essential,” Trump said. “But have left out churches and other houses of worship. It’s not right. So I’m correcting this injustice and calling houses of worship essential.”
Add to the list campgrounds in some states. Yes, that’s right! You can go camping, but you cannot go to church in the once free United States of America!
