Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

1 Peter 3:8

The Bible is always relevant to our lives. No matter what we may be going through, you better believe there is sound advice to be found in God’s Word.

The events of today can sometimes make us lose our wits. As we become frustrated with the world, we become easily upset and angered. Sometimes this comes out toward our family or Christian brothers and sisters. This is to be expected at times when the world tries our souls.

Yet, we must always remember to ground ourselves in Christ. The Christian family must always stand together, being united of one mind in Jesus Christ.

Today’s churches continue to crumble over the divisions society brings about. The church crumbles as our leaders have lost their way, our leaders forgot to “be of one mind” with Jesus Christ.

You see, no matter what the world says or does, that does not change what Jesus told us. In fact, Jesus taught us His Word never changes. That means, the Christian family should not deviate from that. We should not deviate from our beliefs or our resolutions with Christ, and those who stand with Him.

As the days go by, being a Christian will become more difficult. Standing with your fellow Christian will become more difficult, as many will waver when society tells them what is right or wrong.

Society, governments, man and religion will always change, but we have guidebook that never changes. A guidebook that offers advice that is always relevant. A guidebook that reminds us,

Be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous.

Take No Thought For Tomorrow

Christ said, take no thought for tomorrow, meaning enjoy today. We should not burden ourselves with tomorrow’s troubles, as it’s promised to no one…

Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
