Follow The Light Of Jesus

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12

The world offers us no real hope, no true way to enlighten our life. It offers us false hope with promises that only serve the interests of the flesh. The world can only offer us temporary rewards where few benefit and the many live in darkness.

God’s Kingdom will be much different. It offers everyone eternal benefits where bad health is a thing of the past. Where sorrow and crying are former things, not present things, (Revelation 21:4).

These are promises we can count on, unlike the promises of men.

Nothing Is Free

However, like all good offers, not one has ever been free, not even this one. This offer was made through the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ “that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” (John 3:16).

Now comes the second part of the offer, you must accept Jesus Christ. It is not hard to do, you simply have to confess with your mouth that God raised Christ from the dead, (Romans 10:9).

When we believe upon the Lord, it means we act on it. It means we follow Him as our verse instructs us.

Do you know the most precious thing about that?

Eternal Rewards

Not only does it bring rewards later, but even today. While the world drowns in sorrow and misery, you can be happy and find Light and Truth in Jesus Christ.

He is the Light, He is the Way. When we follow Him, we do not walk in darkness as the world does, we walk in the Light, all while knowing, one day, we will inherit this most amazing offer.

Thank you Father.
