Many of us have become distraught by the days we now find ourselves in.
We are losing hope.
We focus on the news, social media, and what the world tells us is true. Those venues offer a sliver of truth, usually overshadowed by fear, hype, and paranoia.
The lies seem to be everywhere these days.
In order to find the real truth, it’s like turning over rocks in search of it.
Sometimes we find things that sound good and truthful, but even those turn out to be lies.
This is a product of our fallen and wicked world.
Scripture told us this would happen,
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
1 John 5:19
The wicked of the world spin lies to obtain power and wealth.
These lies directly affect each and every one of us.
If you don’t believe me, just have a look at government policy these days. We are typically herded into two positions of belief by those in power. Nearly every time, both positions present arguments that may sound good, but they never solve the real problems we face.
That keeps us going back to them for more, trusting in them a little more, giving them a little more power. In essence, it’s a trap to keep us arguing with the other side and trusting them to make decisions in our best interests.
What a disaster.

Nevertheless, the important thing to remember, the lies will one day be dispelled. Even better news, the liars, those perpetuating lies for their own gain and power will be destroyed by God.
A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
Proverbs 19:9
Yes, one day, liars and false witnesses will be destroyed.
One day, the only news you will hear will be 100% truthful.
That will be the day when God reigns.
Until then, our politicians, the news media, and even some pastors will continue their web of lies. For their own pocketbooks, power, and fame.
So we will continue to pray earnestly that God leads us into His Truth, the Bible. The only place you can truly find real meaningful words.
The world long forgot such truthful meaning.
So as the days draw on, the world will become more wicked, more deceitful, more dreadful. Yet, we can find hope in His Truth. By the way, these are all clear signs of the Last Days that Jesus warned us of.
So never give up hope.
Never stop fighting for what is right.
Never stop seeking Truth and being truthful.
Those who do, will “be established for ever.” Moreover, never stop sharing His Truth. That too, is one of the signs of the Last Days, (Matthew 24:14).
Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.
