Rejoice In The Day The Lord Has Made

This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalms 118:24

It’s really easy to get down in life, especially when the world is falling apart around us. Yet, as Christians, we need to keep our spirits running in high gear, God has made this day, so enjoy it!

God did not create His people to live in fear, He created us to be happy and enjoy life. To enjoy this world He created for Himself and us, (Revelation 4:11). We need to remain positive, so we can encourage and help others. It keeps us sane to boot.

I tell you what, there is nothing better than living a Christian life full of truth and peace. Reading the Bible with understanding is so very comforting, it reveals truth about every aspect of life, even our universe.

When you wake up in the morning and see the sun come up, that is yet another day the Lord has made for you, yes you.

Psalms 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Do you know what “uprightly” means?

It means,

Integrity, truth: – without blemish, complete, full, perfect, sincerely (-ity), sound, without spot, undefiled, upright (-ly), whole.

Hey, we all have sin, which is spot, until we repent and ask God to forgive us, then we are made whole, (Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:7). Naturally then, God blesses those who walk upright. Those who are sincere with Him, those who retain their integrity in this dark world.

God blesses those who stand by Him through thick and thin.

Psalms 84:12
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Blessed is the man or woman who trusts in the LORD, that is Jehovah our Heavenly Father.

This may sound like a silly question, but do you know what “blessed” means?

Happiness; only in masculine plural construction as interjection, how happy!: – blessed, happy.

Stand by God, enjoy the day He has created, and be happy!
