Happy Christian Passover! – 2024

Today (April 2nd, 2024, 14th of Abib), during the closing hours of the day, is the time when our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross. This signified that He fulfilled the law of old, and became the sacrifice to fulfill all others. This paved the way for our salvation.

Communion

Today, we are going to take communion to remember and honor the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. To do that, let’s turn to 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, these verses will provide us with instruction.

1 Corinthians 11:23-24
23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

We partake of the bread in remembrance of Jesus Christ. The unleavened bread represents Christ’s body that was broken for us, so that through Him, we can obtain everlasting life.

Please take, and eat all of it.

1 Corinthians 11:25
After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

We also partake of the wine to remember Jesus, and honor Him on this very special day. The wine is symbolic of the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. Without His sacrifice, without His Blood, there would be no redemption, nor would there be eternal life.

Please take, and drink all of it.

1 Corinthians 11:26
For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

Today, we take communion to remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This day is called, Passover Day.

The day when death would be sentenced to death itself. The day that Christ became the victor over death, and this day, can be your day, if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior, (1 Corinthians 15:55-57, 1 John 5:4-5).

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

I ask that you uplift us, encourage us, build our faith, and stay positive despite this mixed-up world. I ask that you provide us with Biblical clarity, so we can learn your Word and grow in it. I ask this not only for our own benefit, but so that we may share your precious Word with others.

Father, many of us have family who have gone astray. Please help us act as a guiding light to them, so we through You, can bring them back on the narrow path which leads to life.

Lord, I ask that you heal our sick Christian brothers and sisters. I ask that you lead and help the poor to a better life, and instruct those who seek after you. I ask for the best sight of all, spiritual sight, so that we may navigate this dark world that continues to turn from Your righteous ways.

Father, above all…

We all thank you for sending your Son to become our redeemer. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to accept Him, and live with you, forever.

In Jesus name, amen.

A Thank You Message Of Hope

My friends, I cannot thank you enough for your readership and support.

Though the days continue to grow darker and colder, we must remember that Jesus told us that would be the case. That’s not a surprise to us, so don’t be discouraged by it. Instead, let it set a fire within you, to make the most of your life.

Let it be a reminder that we have more opportunities to allow our Christian light to shine brighter than ever before. Even if the world doesn’t see it, God most certainly does. Always remember, each day, is a new day to make ourselves stronger in Jesus Christ. It’s a new day, to bring another soul to our Heavenly Father.

My friends, I would love to hear from you in the community. I would love to hear from those who are celebrating today. I would love to read the stories of how you have overcome this world through Jesus, and how God has blessed your life.

Happy Christian Passover!
