How about this one… Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said the press has too many white folks and needs more people of color. What a racist thing to say.
How about we hear it from Lightfoot herself.
Diversity and inclusion is imperative across all institutions including media. In order to progress we must change. This is exactly why I’m being intentional about prioritizing media requests from POC reporters on the occasion of the two-year anniversary of my inauguration as mayor of this great city.

You know, maybe we should say there are too many people of color in football and basketball and we need to be “inclusive and diverse”. Nah, no one would ever say that. It would be a stupid thing to say, just like Lightfoot’s foolish comment.
Did it ever occur to anyone that certain people like to do certain things?
Just because we see more people of one race doing certain activities/jobs does not mean the institution is racist.

Luckily, this bright Latino reporter named Gregory Pratt recognized Lightfoot is dead wrong.
I am a Latino reporter @chicagotribune whose interview request was granted for today. However, I asked the mayor’s office to lift its condition on others and when they said no, we respectfully canceled. Politicians don’t get to choose who covers them.

If more of us would stand together like this Latino reporter, we could win this odd culture war we find ourselves in. It takes people like this guy standing up and speaking his mind against tyranny. Against racist fools that only seek to divide us. Not only did he speak his mind, but he stood his ground and kept his word.
On another note, in case you didn’t notice, Lightfoot is a black woman who is Chicago’s Mayor, yet, she cries racism.

- Where is the condemnation from the media, Democrat, and Republican parties?
- Where are the calls for her resignation for being a slanderous racist fool?
While Lightfoot concerns herself with the race of the press, every week, people of color as she describes are shot and killed by each other in her city. Apparently, she doesn’t care about them. Only the ones that are not in the press.
The fact is, people light Lightfoot are a cancer to society. They are the ones promoting racism and the homosexual ideology which is brainwashing our public. It is far past time to protest the cancers of the world.
