I watched this video the other day with Neurosurgeon Michael Egnor. He explained how scientific studies have shown people have consciousness, even when they are clinically brain dead. He explains, this proves the existence of a soul.
What is important to understand is our mind is not defined as our brain, our mind is who we are.
Our mind is our spirit, our very soul.
In the video we have included in this short article, Michael will explain how a clinically brain dead patient displayed consciousness when she was asked specific phrases. This clearly displays, she was still aware, though her entire body was immobilized and her brain was shrunken.
He will also explain how another patient who suffered chronic seizures was healed when a doctor split his brain in half. The doctor said for all intense and purposes, there was no difference in the patient before and after the surgery. This proves our brain does not makeup who we are, if it did, the man would have been a much different person after.
In a separate article, a man’s DNA changed after a bone marrow transplant. The man had the same personality after the procedure as before, all despite the change in his physical body. Proving, flesh, and bone do not make us who we are.
For every scientist or doctor who opposes God, there is another who stands for Him and common logic.
