Israel Strikes Iran Amid Reports Of Uranium Enrichment

Israeli drones attacked an Iranian military factory in the city of Isfahan. The rumor mill is abuzz with reports saying numerous Iranian facilities have been attacked. However, official Iranian sources actually downplay the single attack that took place.

Nevertheless, we have a lot to unpack in this one.

As usual, Israel has not commented and they probably won’t.

However,

  • “One U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters it did appear that Israel was involved.”
  • “Pentagon spokesperson Brigadier General Patrick Ryder said no U.S. military forces were involved in strikes in Iran, but declined to comment further.”

It truly feels like this latest event is an escalation in a war that is turning global. I’ll qualify that shortly.

Just days prior to this attack, the United States and Israel completed the largest joint military exercise in their history, “Juniper Oak.”

Juniper Oak integrated U.S. and Israeli fifth-generation fighter assets, which are the most advanced and capable, she said.

Department of Defense

Fifth generation refers to the F-35, the latest elite U.S. fighter jet that was sold to Israel.

We’re also told,

Juniper Oak 23.2 integrated unmanned aerial vehicles, strategic bombers, jet fighters and precision fires. U.S. and Israeli forces conducted long-range strikes, suppression of enemy air defense, electronic attacks, offensive counter and air interdiction, and air operations in the maritime domain.

So what exactly were they practicing for?

It sounds like a simulated long range arial attack on Iran.

Why would they be doing that?

Iran has enough highly enriched uranium to build “several” nuclear weapons if it chooses, the United Nations’ top nuclear official is now warning.

PBS

The article then goes on to say, Iran has enriched their uranium to 60%. In a sense, that proves they really do not have enough for “several” nuclear bombs.

Why do I say that?

HEU produced for weapons (“weapon-grade” uranium) is typically enriched to 90 percent uranium-235 or greater, but all HEU can be used to make nuclear weapons.

Concerned Scientists

I’ve always heard the 90% number, which means, Iran can build something, but it’s not exactly the “best practice” at 60%. Of course, Iran says they’re doing it for peaceful purposes.

But here’s an additional twist…

But diplomatic efforts aimed at again limiting its atomic program seem more unlikely than ever before as Tehran arms Russia in its war on Ukraine and as unrest shakes the Islamic Republic.

PBS

It’s been thought for months now that Iran is arming Russia with attack drones that are being used against Ukraine. Iran and Russia both deny the claims, so who knows what the truth really is.

All we do know, is that days prior to Israel attacking Iran, reports swirled that Iran has enough enrichment for “several” nuclear weapons. We also know Iran is an ally of Russia and news just broke today, that 800 Iranian and Russian banks penned an agreement to bypass the SWIFT international payment system.

So we continue to see our world fracture into various spheres of power, with the United States continually being weakened. Primarily, by its own political ambitions.

Ohh, but we have more…

ABC reports,

  • Separately, Iran’s state TV said a fire broke out at an oil refinery in an industrial zone near the northwestern city of Tabriz. An IRNA report later blamed the fire on “wear and tear” of the site’s piping. Tabriz is some 520 kilometers (325 miles) northwest of Tehran.
  • State TV also said the magnitude 5.9 earthquake killed three people and injured 816 others in rural areas in West Azerbaijan province, damaging buildings in many villages.

So there are a lot of disasters taking place right now in Iran.

Interestingly enough, Iran has now summoned the Ukrainian envoy over comments they made about the Israeli attack. Ukrainian Presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak said,

  • “Explosive night in Iran – drone & missile production, oil refineries. 🇺🇦 did warn you”

It almost sounds like Ukraine wants to take credit for the attack.

So we continue to see our world spiral out of control. This attack is now being linked and connected with Ukraine. We now see Iran and Russia coordinate even further financially. Meanwhile, Iran’s economy is a disaster.

Inflation is over 50% in Iran, with food inflation standing at 70%.

So we have even more instability being fomented within the greater Middle East. Sadly enough, it’s the people who continue to suffer while governments wage conflicts with one another. The people never win, only the corporations that sell arms and supplies and those who will benefit in the end.

I must add, if the United States and the West does not backoff soon in Ukraine, this is going to boil over.

On a Biblical note, don’t forget about the book of Daniel. I truly believe Daniel’s vision is relevant.

And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.
