Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

It seems like life is always throwing us road blocks, doesn’t it?
Just when you get one out of the way, watch out, here comes another one.
Lately, I’ve notice a lot of road blocks in peoples lives. I’ve seen numerous prayer requests come pouring into the Community. You just never know what someone is going through in life. Just because they don’t mention anything, doesn’t mean they aren’t suffering.
But you know what?…
You don’t have to deal with it alone.
First and foremost, we have God, He is right beside us. In today’s verse we’re told, if we pray to God, He will hear us. The Creator of the entire universe is right there waiting to hear from little ol you. You just call, and He will listen to your requests.
Not only does God listen to you, but His “Spirit helps us in our weakness,” (Romans 8:26).
So when you feel tapped out, you just ring Him up, unload your troubles, and He will lift you up in Spirit.
Then, there are other times where we feel alone in our troubles and prayers.
So we should remember what James 5:16 tells us, “Pray for one another.”
That means, we talk to other Christians about our problems.
Why?
So they can pray for us!

Hey, sometimes just having someone else to talk to about life makes you feel better. Imagine if you have them praying with you… Now you have two Christians praying to the Creator of all!
Here’s another reason why you want others praying for you…
“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”
Matthew 18:20
Those are the timeless words of Jesus Christ.
When two or more Christians are gathered in Christ’s name, then He is with us.
That’s why…
“The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.”
Psalms 145:18
Just look at what we have now…
You were alone in your sorrows, but now, you have someone else to talk with about your troubles.
You now have someone else praying to God right along with you. All of this uplifts our lowly spirit through the Holy Spirit! We now have lots of other Christians connected through the Spirit who are all calling on God, and Jesus Christ is right there with us.
Fantastic!
So what was an awful situation may still be, but through pray and faith, you will see through any difficult situation you’re presented with.
Best of all, you don’t have to do it alone.
