Question: When the Antichrist stands in the Holy place, where is that exactly? Is it in Jerusalem or mount Moriah or at the dome of the rock.
Answer: Thank you for the question Mark.
The Antichrist will come from Heaven and appear at the Mount of Olives. We can be certain of that as the Antichrist will imitate every aspect of our Lord and Savior’s return. Since Scripture tells us Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives, we should expect the Antichrist to appear there as well.
Let’s prove the point.
Please turn your Bible with me to,
Acts 1:11-12
11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.
We now know for certain, Jesus will return to the Mount of Olives. Therefore, that is the exact location where the Antichrist will appear. Of course, at that moment, he will claim to be God, (2 Thessalonians 2:4-9).
The Antichrist will imitate the very Lamb of God, (2 Corinthians 11:14, Revelation 13:11). Satan is the Antichrist, and all throughout Scripture Satan has tried to imitate or replace Jesus or our Heavenly Father.

The Mount of Olives is just outside of the Old City of Jerusalem. That is exactly where I would expect the Antichrist to come from.
Once he enters Jerusalem, where exactly will he step foot?
That is anyone’s guess, my guess would be the Dome of the Rock. Although, at that point, it will not matter as we will see the Antichrist make a great appearance on the Mount of Olives, and we will know it is time to wage the Spiritual Battle of a lifetime.
