Bible Question and Answer

Question 1:

Name: Peggy
Question: Does the Holy Spirit dwell in us that believe in Christ?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Peggy, thank you for the question. Please turn your Bible with me to,

1 Corinthians 3:16
16 “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”

The Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit and it certainly dwells with us. This does not mean everyone is going to feel warm and fuzzy all of the time, but it certainly means if we ask Him to enter our heart and we follow His Word He will be with us. We may have ups and downs in life, but He will help see us through it. The Holy Spirit is the Great Comforter Christ promised us.

John 14:16
16 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;”

His Spirit is very comforting and He will always be with us if we walk with Him.

John 14:26
26 “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”

This word “Ghost” is Strong’s word 4151 and it means, “God, Christ’s spirit, the Holy spirit” the same word that was translated as “Spirit” in 1 Corinthians 3:16. The translators made many errors and judgments when they translated the Bible from the ancient languages and this is one of them. When you see the word Ghost with reference to God it should be translated “Spirit”.

Not only does His Spirit abide with us, but His Spirit will teach us, guide us, direct us and recall to our minds the scriptures of our Father. It is fantastic how we can diligently study while asking our Father for direction and He provides that direction, that is the Holy Spirit in action.

He that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit,” (1 Corinthians 6:17, Spirit is Strong’s 4151 again). His Spirit always binds us together, just as it binds the Father and the Son.

We all have our own spirit, but through His Spirit we are one, being the many membered body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13-31).

As we walk through life we need to do our best to abstain from sin, no one is perfect and we all fall short, but when we do, we need to seek Him for forgiveness and cease from the sin.

We should strive to fellowship with believers who are a part of the many membered body of Christ, not communion with those things or individuals that can lead us astray which means those who continually engage in sin without repentance and show no signs of wanting to change.

2 Corinthians 6:14
14 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

15 “And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?”

16 “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

We are the Temple of God that He dwells in and through His Spirit we are one.

Additional Verses: 1 Corinthians 6:19, 2 Timothy 1:14, Romans 8:9,11

Question 2:

Name: Theresa
Question: Brandon
How are we to prepare ourselves when the New World Order happens with the ten clay kings? Meaning how will we manage in the world? And for How long? Will this be the time in which we will not be able to buy and sell?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Theresa, thank you for the question. Theresa’s question is in relation to Chapter 1 of “The Timeline of the Tribulation“.

Nothing changes, we continue to prepare mentally, physically and spiritually. We discussed this subject in depth in our study, “Preparing Our Households for the Tribulation“. For years now we have all seen the walls begin to close in on us if you will. What I mean by that is the world has become far darker than just 10 years ago. We now see sin placed in the spotlight while our Father is kicked to the curb.

Theresa, we can manage in the world as we have our Father and we are going to stay true to Him. That means we win, He will help those who stand by Him today and in the days ahead of us.

When the Ten Clay Kings rise up it is not written how much time will pass until Satan appears on earth. However, I do not believe it will be that long, a few short years at most would be my guess. I say that, as when the Ten Clay Kings stand up The Four Winds are released which means the Saints are completely Sealed with our Father’s Word and it also means the Seven Trumpets will begin to sound. We cover these topics in Chapter 3 of “The Timeline of the Tribulation“. It seems highly unlikely once the Saints are Sealed that we would have a large amount of time until Satan appears on earth. Remember, the Saints are Sealed in preparation for the Tribulation. It is like studying for a test, once you have it down, once you are Sealed with the knowledge required, then it is time to begin.

The rise of the Ten Clay Kings does not mark the time when we cannot buy or sell. That is strictly reserved for the time when Satan stands on earth.

Revelation 13:11
11 “And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.”

This Dragon is none other than Satan himself as Revelation 12:7-9 will document.

Revelation 13:16
16 “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:”

We learned in “Mark of the Beast Revealed” this is a spiritual mark, though it will have very real physical consequences. This mark is accepting Satan and his system. Those who are Sealed with our Father’s Letter will not accept Satan, they will not accept Satan’s mark as they will have already accepted our Father’s Mark (Seal).

Revelation 13:17
17 “And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Those who do not accept Satan and his system will not be able to take part in that system. That includes the government and your day to day needs of life as we were told we could not “buy or sell“. Does this bother you? It should not, however it should make you aware of what you need to do ahead of time and again, we covered this in “Preparing Our Households for the Tribulation“. God is always with us if we are with Him, He provided for the Israelites in the wilderness and He certainly has the ability to provide for us (Deuteronomy 29:5). But we should do our part first and not solely rely on Him.

We would like to thank our Father for giving us this platform in order to spread His most precious Word. We would also like to thank our readers for submitting their questions and giving us the opportunity to share them with the audience. If you would like to ask a question submit it for the next edition of this post and continue the discussion by leaving a comment below.
