“As I look at America today, I am not afraid to say that I am afraid.”—Former presidential advisor Bertram Gross
As history teaches us, if the people have little or no knowledge of the basics of government and their rights, those who wield governmental power inevitably wield it excessively. After all, a citizenry can only hold its government accountable if it knows when the government oversteps its bounds.
WEB Notes: Trump states if the U.S. goes to war with Assad, the U.S. goes to war with Russia which is not true. The U.S. has been fighting Assad’s troops intermittently for months now. The U.S. and Russia have both bombed Syria’s infrastructure. You can clearly see this with your own eyes. Will the aid end to the “rebels”? We will have to wait and see. No matter what happens Damascus will be a ruinous heap before this is all said and done (Isaiah 17:1). Keep your eye on the scriptures, not the words of men.
WEB Notes: The election of Trump has placed “conservative” Americans into passive mode. They feel they have won and can now rest. This is a dangerous trap that very few seem to realize. As we have discussed prior, now more rights can be removed from the people all under the banner of “Making America Great Again”. I highly doubt 2-3 million illegals will be deported, but if they are it will result in law enforcement kicking in doors to find the individuals and America will be okay with the violation of peoples rights as it will appear to be a good thing for America. Violating the rights of American’s is never a good thing. Yet, during the Bush years we saw American’s accept it in the form of the TSA, NSA and Patriot Act not to mention the war on terror which still rages today. The children of Satan have not lost control, they have simply geared up for the next stage.

Former congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul appeared on RT to talk about the election of Donald Trump as president, and he voiced major skepticism on whether Trump will actually follow through on many of his campaign promises.
According to a new report by Georgetown Law’s Center on Privacy and Technology, half of Americans now have photos of themselves stored in facial recognition databases. The vast majority of these citizens are not suspects in crimes, nor do they have criminal records.
Secretary of State John Kerry winged his way Monday from New Zealand to the Middle East on the next leg of what may be his longest trip yet, a journey during which America’s top diplomat will account for roughly 16.5 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
President-elect Donald J. Trump on Sunday chose Reince Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee and a loyal campaign adviser, to be his White House chief of staff, turning to a Washington insider whose friendship with the House speaker, Paul D. Ryan, could help secure early legislative victories.
