WEB Notes: This man is an “idiot”, that is not an insult, it is a fact. An “idiot” is “a person to be lacking intelligence”. This man is lacking intelligence in our Father’s Word. What did Christ tell us?
17 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
Christ did not change the law in any fashion when He became our Passover, He simply fulfilled it by nailing blood sacrifice to the cross paving the way for us to have the opportunity at everlasting life IF we believe and follow His Word.
18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
Not so much as a period has been removed from the old law which is the Old Testament. Homosexual acts are still sins in the Old and New Testament.
19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
20 “For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
An Episcopal church in Fargo, North Dakota is showing their support for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgenders and queers by dedicating a new stained glass window in the worship sanctuary.
The event took place in the church this past Sunday.According to Valley News Live, Father Jamie Parsley of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Fargo, North Dakota said he sees the acceptance of the LGBTQ community as following in the way Jesus taught:
“Churches reaching out and including GLBTQ people in the congregation and doing ministry alongside them is still fairly new in a lot of churches,” Parsley said. “Loving God, loving your neighbor as yourself, that’s really the basis for all Christian ministry as I see it and I think that’s the basis for how we see GLBTQ inclusion.”
