Judge Overturns California’s Assisted Suicide Law

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

WEB Notes: You mean to tell me someone passed an illegal measure? Say it is not so! Unfortunately, that happens all too often in our world. Nevertheless, we have a victory here, even if it is short lived.

A California judge on Tuesday overturned the state’s assisted suicide law on grounds that the state Legislature illegally passed the measure two years ago.

California’s End of Life Option Act allows terminally ill patients with six months or less to live to obtain medication that will kill them. But groups that oppose euthanasia sued the state over the law, arguing that its passage was unconstitutional because it was done during a special session back in 2015 that was supposed to be dedicated to health care funding.

  1. Judges do not make Law. Nothing is being done Constitutionally these of days it seems. We have but ONE JUDGE; and that is YHVH and it is not us that decides when to check out of this world. The hearts of man are truly deceitful, just as we have been already told. ***Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?*** ***Jeremiah 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.***

  2. Thank the Lord. I have been telling people all over, internet included, that this law allows murder of older people. There was a lady with same symptoms as myself, and they gave her 40 downers. I would hate to be the ones who allowed this, probably trying to save on medicare costs?

  3. the mutt Xavier Becerra will whine away. Can’t stand that “insert bad name here”.
