What If False Prophecy Is Unfolding In Israel?

Today, we’re going to talk about false prophecy.

What false prophecy?

As I explained on Monday, we have some Christian leaders saying the events in Israel, the Israel-Gaza war marks the fulfillment of End Times prophecy, and that Jesus is returning soon. Millions of Christians are being told, Ezekiel 37 and 38, have, and are, coming to pass.

This connection is made by explaining, “the Jews are God’s chosen people.”

Now, as I stated in many articles of late, that’s not the case.

In fact, on Sunday, I’m releasing an in-depth Bible study on “God’s chosen people,” so don’t miss it. It’s key to help you understand, what is happening in Israel, is not End Times prophecy.

Instead, it’s false prophecy.

I know, some of you are thinking…

“I didn’t know there was such of a thing as false Bible prophecy.”

Sure you did!

If you’ve ever read the Book of Jeremiah, God continually talks about false prophets who utter false prophecy, prophecy that God did not give, (Jeremiah 5:31).

Now, that’s just one example.

Ohh, but we have more, much more that I’ll cover today.

In addition to false Bible prophecy, Scripture even discusses false Christian doctrine.

What am I talking about?

Let’s go back to the time of Jesus…

I want you to recall the moment when Christ was tempted by the Devil in the wilderness. Jesus had just fasted for 40 days, He was in a weakened state, and just about that time is when Satan showed up.

So,

“…the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple”

Matthew 4:5

How that displays just a little bit of Satan’s miraculous power.

So there we have Jesus with Satan on this high pinnacle, and what’s the Devil tell Christ, in His spiritually weakened state?

“…If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

Matthew 4:6

Woah!

So right there, in bold, Satan quoted Scripture, can you believe it?

I mean, Satan whipped out Scripture, and gave Jesus an out, right there on the spot. That’s right, Satan knows him some Bible, to be honest, better than you or I.

There’s just one small problem.

Satan misquoted Scripture!

Yep, did you catch it?

Satan left out a little, and added a little, to stitch together a doctrine that is not Biblical. This is what happens today my friends, and most Christians just cannot catch it. It happens all the time, though mostly not with the intent to deceive, oh, but there are those deceivers in sheep’s clothing.

So here’s the deal, Satan was quoting Psalms 91:11-12, which says,

“For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest [at any time] thou dash thy foot against a stone.”

  • Satan removed “to keep thee in all ways,” to avoid the condition.
  • Satan added, “lest at any time” to apply the verse to the moment.

It’s just a little change, but it made the world of difference, and how many of us are aware of it? If you weren’t, there’s no shame in that. Just know, Scripture gets twisted on purpose — sometimes by accident — and it leads to false doctrine, which spurs false prophecies.

So with that thought, let’s bring it back to the subject at hand.

Let’s bring the discussion back to the idea that millions of Christians believe prophecy is being fulfilled in Israel, via this war, and through the Jews. Yet, that’s false prophecy, and now millions of Christians believe, Jesus is returning soon — again — so they’ll be raptured away.

However, that’s not true at all.

It’s false prophecy.

Instead, what’s going to happen?

Here’s the very heart of the matter…

The Antichrist is going to appear before Jesus.

That’s what 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 says, open the Book.

So when we hear that prophecy is being fulfilled in Israel, that the Jews are God’s chosen people, that Ezekiel 37 and 38 have and are being fulfilled. Boy, we’re being led down the wrong road my brothers and sisters.

In reality, all this false prophecy is setting Christians up to worship the first guy that comes along, the first guy that says he’s God, the first guy doing magic tricks.

Come on, you’ve read Revelation 13:13, right?

The Dragon, that’d be Satan, he’s going to make a miraculous appearance, with millions of his angels. He’s going to perform miracles that you cannot even fathom, to impress you, so you believe, and buy into the concept that he is God, and that those angels, are God’s as well.

But, no one is telling us this stuff.

Instead, they’re just saying,

“Hey, the Jews are God’s chosen people, and Jesus is about to show up.”

Dangerous!

This is spiritually dangerous.

I’ll explain why in a moment, but first I want to show you something…

I want to explain to you how similar the appearance of Satan and Jesus Christ are.

Take a look at this…

How will Satan appear?

“And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.”

Luke 10:18

How will Jesus appear?

“For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

Matthew 24:27

Uhh ohh…

They’re the same!

We have more.

How does Satan appear?

“And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.”

Revelation 6:2

How does Jesus appear?

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.”

Revelation 19:11

Uhh ohh, we’re in big trouble now.

They appear in the same fashion.

How are you going to know the difference, if you believe Jesus is going to show up at any moment?

I mean, the appearances of Jesus and Satan resemble each other. Satan will even resemble Jesus in appearance and character, for a time. So he will resemble the real thing, but folks, he is not the real thing.

So how many are going to be able to spot the false messiah, from The Messiah?

Nevertheless, we have a distortion of prophecy. These verses clearly show, we have false prophecy, a distortion of Scripture, just as Satan distorted Scripture when he spoke with Jesus in the wilderness.

Oh, we have more.

How does Satan appear?

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”

Revelation 12:9

How does Jesus appear?

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,”

2 Thessalonians 1:7

So there you have it.

False prophecy.

As outlined in Scripture, Satan is going to mimic prophecy, that is false prophecy, all in an effort to imitate the appearance of Jesus Christ.

So you, so the world believes he is God, and they will.

Revelation 13:14 says the Dragon, that is Satan will be so convincing he will “deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles.” The Devil is going to appear lovely, he’s going to put on a magic show for you baby, one you can’t even imagine.

There’s just one problem.

  • It’s lies!
  • It’s deceit!
  • It’s false prophecy!

So if you’re not aware that’s going to happen, or if you think you’ll be gone, then you better wake up.

Look, when the Antichrist, the Dragon, the Devil, Lucifer, Satan, whatever you want to call him. When he shows up, it’s going to look real. It’s going to feel real. Yet, it’s a false prophetic event like none other in world history.

That’s the whole point of him coming.

Essentially and simplistically

  • It’s for God to see, how many people have been reading their Bibles.

More deeply

  • It’s for God to see, who has the brass to stand up for Him.
  • It’s for God to see, who will endure the trials and persecution for going against church tradition, for the narrative of the hour.
  • It’s for God to see, and you to prove, who will cement their place in God’s Kingdom.

Oh my friends, we’re not just talking about eternal life, which is good enough for me…

We’re talking about the crown of righteousness. Were talking about being kings and priests in God’s Kingdom — forever — and who doesn’t want to serve Him in that capacity, (Revelation 1:6, 5:10)?

Do you think He’s just going to give those rewards away?

No, He’s going to make you earn it.

My friends, one of these days, test time is coming…
