It’s Friday!
I must have a million browser tabs open of things I wanted to discuss with you this week, and it didn’t happen. So, we are going to throw them all into one post, and make this Friday extra crazy!

The Federal Reserve’s fight against inflation will spark a recession in the United States that begins late next year, Deutsche Bank warned on Tuesday.

So they can predict recessions well ahead of time now…
I remember back in 2007 when all the economic indicators said, “recession” and the experts all said, “No, were not headed for one”.
Yet, today… Today they know it will be late next year.
But…
The markets could crumble under the weight of a series of rate hikes and nagging inflation well before the year ends, warns a top strategist.

By the way, what’s this Federal Reserve rate hikes business?
Look what Fed Governor Lael Brainard said,
“It is of paramount importance to get inflation down. Currently, inflation is much too high and is subject to upside risks. The Committee is prepared to take stronger action if indicators of inflation and inflation expectations indicate that such action is warranted,” she said.
Ohh, now inflation is too high. It’s not transitory after all ehh?
She said, the Federal Reserve Board would, “continue tightening monetary policy methodically through a series of interest rate increases and by starting to reduce the balance sheet at a rapid pace as soon as our May meeting”.
By how much?
“I expect the balance sheet to shrink considerably more rapidly than in the previous recovery, with significantly larger caps and a much shorter period to phase in the maximum caps compared with 2017–19,” Brainard said.
Back then, the Fed reduced its balance sheet by $50 billion a month. They are talking about significantly more sell-offs, and rate increases than the last go-round. We are, potentially, looking at $100 billion a month reduction of the Fed’s balance sheet.
Today, the Fed balance sheet stands at nearly $9T, (Hint: link in resources section).
The Fed’s balance sheet is how they have sustained the markets. They have purchased mortgages and so on, which has propped the market and inflated housing. Not to mention, low-interest rates.
The Fed originally purchased all these assets as no one else would. Now, they are going to force the market to purchase them. As should have been the case to begin with. They are unraveling the mess they created. Don’t look at them as a savior though.

Honestly, I don’t care about Hunter Biden. That’s why we never report on this. For over a year, it’s been well known and nothing happened. Now, suddenly it’s a big deal. That doesn’t mean the information just came to light. It means, it’s time for some new political games…

No One Loves Biden

I told my wife that, she said, “He reaps what he sows”. Yes, I sleep with one eye open!
Of course, the wife is spot on.
Here’s what I find sad though, those are all of Biden’s “friends,” and he is the President. Yet, not a soul wants to interact with him. Let this be a lesson to you, our political leaders are like rabid dogs. They have no care or concern for you.
Let this be another lesson, many in your life will turn on you just as fast. You can always tell who your friends are when the times get tough. They are the only ones standing around you.
To add insult to injury.
Obama never had any class, this only proves it. Whether it was a joke or he misspoke himself is irrelevant. This was shameful and a mockery of the office.
War Must Go On…

Biden said Russia’s currency the ruble was turned to rubble. However, Russia has since pegged the ruble to gold, and the ruble is sitting better than it was before the war.

Food Crisis
President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday that Russia must keep a close eye on its food exports to hostile countries because the West’s sanctions had fomented a global food crisis and spiralling energy prices.

Fox’s Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
Doocy: “Our team in Texas is saying that you guys are starting to give smartphones to border crossers hoping that they’ll use the phones to check in or to be tracked. Which part of that is supposed to deter people from crossing illegally into the States?”
Did you hear Psaki’s response?
“So we can track them and check in with them.”
They also use a voice print to ensure the person who checks in is the person registered to the device. This is all out in the open.
Where is the outrage?
Not just about illegals being allowed into the nation, but given free phones. Possibly even worse, this tracking business. Even more so yet… Notice how Psaki is just reading the answer off the paper? That means she already knows the questions.
All these press briefings are staged. Nothing new, but worth mentioning.
