Bible Verse of the Day

Bible Verse of the Day

1 Corinthians 2:14

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

You will do yourself a great service by starting your reading with verse 6.

Verse 12 explains to us “we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Our Father’s Gifts are always free, they only require us to believe in Him. He does not charge us, He simply provides us with a choice (John 3:16).

Verse 13, which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Understand there is a difference between the knowledge of men and the knowledge of the spirit. This is why verse 14 tells us the natural man, which is the flesh man does not receive the Spirit of God.

How many people do you know that are completely lost in this world? All they understand is the knowledge of this world. They do not understand spiritual knowledge which comes from your Father.

Why?

They have not opened their hearts to Him, they have not asked Him for that spiritual knowledge and until they do, they will continue to walk blindly in this spiritually dark world.

Ensure you open that communication path with our Father, go to Him in prayer and ask Him to shower you with spiritual knowledge and discernment. It will illuminate your path through this dark world.
