Bible Question and Answer
Welcome to our bi-weekly post where we provide Bible verses, answers and advice to the questions and concerns you have. During the course of the last two weeks readers have submitted their questions and today we are going to answer some of them. So please join us and feel free to chime in on the discussion in the comments section below this post.

Before we get into this week’s questions we would like to point out that you are helping to spread the Word of God by your continued submission of questions. Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. So if you have a Biblical or non-Biblical question you would like to ask, submit it now for our next edition of “Bible: Question, Answer and Discussion“.

Question 1:

Name: Jack
Question: Hi Brandon: My question concerns the Royal House of Britain and your opinion about whether Queen Elizabeth II represents the seed of David. Also, any comments you may have about Pastor Murray’s teachings about Ezekiel 21:27 relating to the second Advent. From my own research, it appears to me that Diana could well have been at least half Kenite, her mother having Rothschild blood. Any comments about this would be appreciated. YHVH Bless…

Name: Brandon T. Ward & WEB Staff
Answer: Jack thank you for the question.

Dr. E. Raymond Capt has an excellent booklet on the migration of the tribes which I am sure you are already aware of. I believe Dr. E. Raymond Capt’s work is about as close as we can come to documenting where the tribes migrated too. I really do not think we can pin point specifically if the Queen is of the seed line of David or not.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Ezekiel 21:27
27 “I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no more, until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him.”

Whose right was it to take it? The Messiah, Jesus Christ who came after this prophecy at the first Advent. So my question in return would be, how do we know this has not already occurred?

Genesis 49:10
10The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.”

If the sceptre remained with the tribe of Judah to our present day it would be very difficult to understand who could have fulfilled this. Why? Because this was a conditional promise as we will document in a moment.

But what did the scripture say? It said, ‘the sceptre would not depart from Judah until Shiloh come.’ This word “Shiloh(Strong’s word: 7886) is referencing the Messiah. When Christ came at the first Advent His Kingdom did become a reality.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Mark 1:15
15 “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.”

It would seem that it is possible the sceptre was passed here.

To look at this from another angle we need to remember that when our Father makes a promise in the Bible it is usually a conditional promise. Meaning, there is that big two letter word “IF”.

Please turn your Bible with me to,

1 Kings 9:2-3
2 “That the LORD appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon.”

3 “And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”

Pay close attention now.

1 Kings 9:4
4 “And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments.”

Notice the “IF” meaning this is a conditional promise. Man has to fulfill their part in order to claim the promise from our Father.

1 Kings 9:5
5Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.”

We know from scripture that Solomon brought in other gods into his kingdom and so did the kings who followed after him. So right here we see this promise being broken, not by our Father, but by man.

1 Kings 9:6
6But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them.”

Who did this apply too? Solomon and his children.

1 Kings 9:7
7 “Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people.”

So there we have the conditional promise from the mouth of our Father. Looking around the world today it is very hard to find a nation whose leader has lived by God’s Law and upheld this promise from our Father.

Question 2:

Name: Cynthia
Question: Has any one that you know of ever recreated the ark the way Noah did and if so where can a person go see it ?

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Cynthia.

In 2011-2012 a Dutchman named Johan Huibers built a full scale replica of Noah’s ark. You can read the article about it here along with photos. We have included a video below as well.

It just so happens that today an article was written about a new ark that is being constructed in the state of Kentucky. This is also a full size replica of Noah’s ark and it is set for completion sometime in 2016.
