Bible Question and Answer
Welcome to our bi-weekly post Bible Question, Answer and Discussion where we provide Bible verses, answers and advice to the questions and concerns you have. During the course of the last two weeks readers have submitted their questions and today we are going to answer one of them. So please join us and feel free to chime in on the discussion in the comments section below this post.

Before we get into this week’s questions we would like to point out that you are helping to spread the Word of God by your continued submission of questions. Because of your ongoing participation these Q&A posts have been read thousands of times. Without your participation this section of our site would not exist. So if you have a Biblical or non-Biblical question you would like to ask, submit it now for our next edition of “Bible: Question, Answer and Discussion“.

Question 1:

Name: Anthony
Question: What roll will Turkey play in the final days, and do you believe that our government is using the Alinsky, “rules for radicals” in causing chaos in America and the division of its people?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Thank you for the question Anthony. We will have to wait and see with respect to Turkey. There is nothing written in the scriptures to my knowledge about them during the end times.

I am sure you are aware, but for those that are not, Saul Alinksy dedicated that book to Satan. That tells you where he stands. I do not believe it is our government who has formulated the plot for America’s demise and the people of it. Though our elected representatives go right along with it. This plot has been formulated by the children of Satan and not only for our nation, but for the world.

When they are successful they will have destroyed the nation state and with that destruction they will be able to bring their one world government front and center and their father will lead the way. This is a much deeper plot than just America unfortunately, but our Father’s Word has foretold us all things (Mark 13:23). We will win (Daniel 7:18).

Question 2:

Name: Carolyn
Question: When Gog & Magog happen what form of body will we be in. If people are in Spirit how can large Hailstones hurt them ?

P.S SO HAPPY I found this website as I never believed Rapture however I could not say why. At First I heard it from Arnold Murray but your website put it in format.

Thank you !

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Carolyn, thank you for the question. Welcome to the site and we are glad you are enjoying it.

The war you are speaking of occurs at the very end of the Tribulation of Satan, literally moments before Christ’s return on earth. When Christ returns we will instantly be changed into our true bodies which are our spiritual bodies (1 Corinthians 15:35-55).

Please allow me to elaborate to give me perspective on this subject. Please turn your Bible with me to,

Ezekiel 38:19-20,22
19 “For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

20 “So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.”

22 “And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.”

Notice the description we are given. There will be a great shaking throughout the land on that day. This will definitely occur before our transition from our flesh bodies to our spiritual bodies, otherwise as you pointed out no one would die.

Revelation 16:17
17 “And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.”

This will literally be moments before we see our Lord and Savior appear. Revelation 19 gives more details of this final war that Christ will fight for us.

Revelation 16:18
18 “And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.”

Here is the great earthquake that was recorded for us in Ezekiel 38:19. Zechariah 14:4 also documents this earthquake as well.

Revelation 16:19-21
19 “And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.”

20 “And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.”

21 “And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.”

Though we will occupy our flesh bodies, we have nothing to fear. God is only upset with those people that do not stand by Him. We could literally stand right in the middle of this battle and not be harmed. Your documentation for that is Daniel in the Lions den, the three in the fiery furnace and of course the Hebrews in Egypt who were not harmed by the ten plagues.

Question 3:

Name: Brian
Question: I have a co-worker who is easily annoyed with anything, especially people. Today she complained about someone so I blurted out that God loves that person too. Her response was “yes but God must have spent less time with that person”. We laughed but soon after she asked about God loving Satan so in my anxiousness to preach I said “Yes, God even loves Satan”. I’ve never thought about that before and I know Satan was an angel of God but how can I prove myself right or wrong with scripture?

Answer:

Name: Brandon T. Ward
Answer: Brian thank you for the question. It sounds like you were caught up in the moment, do not beat yourself up over it. However, God does not love Satan. Satan would be number one on God’s hate list. Remember, we are in the flesh to begin with because of Satan and what transpired in the first earth age (read the two studies linked below).

God condemned Satan to death by name in Isaiah 14:12-16. Satan qualifies on all accounts for the six things the Lord hates which can be documented in Proverbs 6:16-19.

God has instructed us to, “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil,(Ephesians 6:11). You (neither does God) cannot love someone who is constantly trying to harm or destroy your children (Revelation 12:10).

Please turn your Bible with me to,

Luke 8:12
12 “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.”

On all accounts Satan is not only our enemy, but our Father’s enemy. Again, you cannot love someone who is trying to destroy your children. There is no love to be had between them though it did exist in the beginning until Satan rebelled against our Father.

Deuteronomy 7:9-10
9 “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”

10And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face.”

God hates Satan and our Father will destroy Satan at the end of the Millennium.

  1. Ehh I wouldn’t be so quick to say what GOD feels about this person or that Brandon……Sure Satan is condemned and I believe there is little to no doubt there based on the words of the bible…but sometimes I think God has not destroyed him already because he has some compassion for him yet…Discounting time and the moments that pass here and in heaven God could have already put an end to all of this suffering and evil….but he hasn’t…For someone he has already condemned to death, GOD has not yet even barred Satan from entering heaven correct? The answer is YES… He still stands there accusing us all day and night at this moment…tomorrow, the days and months to come….These are not the actions you take against someone you hate but in my opinion, someone you hope may change their mind and actions towards you…Our LORD is long suffering and very forgiving and I do not think I need to present scripture to back that up..

Sometimes I think prophecy is revealed to provide a chance for things to change…Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen…No one here including you knows when, how, or exactly what will happen…We can trust in the bible and I believe we should…That doesn’t mean something else may happen…You have to admit the possibility of something else other than what’s written in the Bible CAN happen. That obviously doesn’t mean something else will happen…more or less I am saying be more open minded and do not claim to know what a being greater than yourself knows, feels or wants…

The thing I like least about the Bible is that it was physically written , edited, and produced by man but was divinely inspired right ? Only the book of Revelation provides a strict warning telling you do not add to or remove from THIS book:

“For I testify together to everyone who hears the Words of the prophecy of this Book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add on him the plagues that have been written in this Book. And if anyone takes away from the Words of the Book of this prophecy, God will take away his part out of the Book of Life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which have been written in this Book.”
There is the possibility that none of the bible is accurate. This warning would not have been added if these actions were not possible, intended or already done. What do the children of satan care? They already think they are untouchable and will overcome and defeat the issuer of the warning. I do 100% believe the bible is accurate. I place my FAITH ( Belief without knowing for sure) in its accuracy but im not so ignorant as to believe there is no possibility its not been tampered with…That’s a very dangerous way to live…Is that contradictory? Yes it is but we live in a word of contradictions in almost all walks of life…Not meant to offend, just offering my two cents…God bless everyone

    • Billy we are all going to have our own opinions, but I have not said anything that is not true. With all due respect how can you possibly say, “There is the possibility that none of the bible is accurate.” How can you possibly believe in a book you have doubt in?

To your point, of course the Bible has been changed and maybe all you are getting at is the translations or the incorrect words we find in the Bible. However, if you mean the entirety, the accounts etc then I would have to strongly disagree with you. For anyone who has done their due diligence in the Word, it proves itself to be a fact.

Further, God has not allowed this world to carry on because of any care or concern for Satan. Satan was condemned to death, period that is final. Why are we here in this age of flesh to begin with? Read the two studies I listed and you will understand why we are here and why the world must go on. That is the reason, not because God has second thoughts about Satan.

      • Yes I also do not think the world is carrying on because of restraint of judgement for Satan…My only point there was GOD fully has the ability to have already killed someone you claim he hates so much…
My only real point regarding my comment was that YES there is a POSSIBILITY some or everything in the bible is false…I find it hard to argue that someone with a motive or a group of persons with a motive would not later or purposefully mistranslate the words contained in it…Why would someone(s) do that and end up with a message of salvation I do not know or claim to provide any theories there…I am just saying the possibility exists and denying that is not being truthful at all… Why else would a warning be put in the book of revelation outlining that exact possibility? Because its possible that’s why…Back to GOD hating SATAN, I do think along the lines of pure outright hatred from the former to the latter…to me its more like a parent who’s child has turned to a life of crime and drug use that’s on the run from the law…
You love your child but know that you need to get them in jail or rehab in order to stop them from doing what they’re doing…happens 1000’s of times a year…Not the exact same scenario here I know but please try and understand what I mean, not exactly what I’m saying…there’s a stark difference

        • Simply put Billy. Judgement day has not arrived. Judgement day is not when you are judged it is when you get what is coming to you, good or bad. So be patient and wait for it. In the mean time get some understanding.

        • Hi Billy,
Just chiming in a bit here, on a couple of things. Firstly…regarding Satan…*not* being hated by GOD.
I see that Brandon has already *correctly* shared with you his position, that GOD has *no* second thoughts regarding Satan’s death sentence.

Satan is GOD’S *worst* enemy, and as believers and followers of GOD…he is ours also.

Billy, wicked and evil people or entities…also have their function in GOD’S Divine Plan…and that is to carry out the *NEGATIVE* parts of that Plan, in *testing* HIS children / created souls. For example…GOD referred to Nebuchadnezzar as…”MY servant, even though he was a heathen, who once walked *contrary* to GOD. Jeremiah 27:6. The Locust Army is a very *evil* Army, fully utilized by Satan, which consist of a couple hundred millions (if I remember correctly) of GOD’S created souls….but GOD calls that Army…HIS…Army! That same Army that comes amongst us, and causes complete *confusion and deception* to the whole world…EXCEPT…for those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. God ordered it, He controlled it, and sends that army to *TEST* and weed out His Elect, from the Religious prostitutes. Joel 2:25. They carry out the *NEGATIVE* parts of HIS Plan. And so does *Satan*! GOD is *not* through using him yet…he will perish at GOD’S appointed time. Ref. Ezekiel 28….where Satan is called the “king of Tyrus”…BEFORE….his Fallen state…and “prince of Tyrus”….AFTER…his fall. Satan has already been sentenced to turn to ashes from within. Ezekiel 28:18. I personally envision that as the closest I’ll ever see to *Spontaneous Combustion* 🙂 Silly me! But I have this quirky active imagination that just won’t quit at times! 🙂

GOD…*HATED*…Esau, even in his mother’s womb…he got the chance to be born *innocent * of woman, but still cared *nothing about God and his heritage, whilst in the *flesh* Romans 9:13; Malachi 1:2-3…yet GOD did *not* sentence him to *perish*…like the Son of Perdition, one of Satan’s titles. Perdition means to *perish*…so GOD must *HATE* Satan…a heck of a lot *more* to give him such a lethal sentence! Satan earned that sentence himself, as you will read in Ezekiel 28; Isaiah 14:11-25 among other Scriptures.

Secondly….The *English* translation of the Standard King James Bible, have a *few* poor translations, (some deliberate) as indicated in the preface of the 1611 edition, but there are Bible Study Tools that help one break it back to the Languages of the Manuscripts, from which they were translated. It helps us detect what those are. Eg. Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, Smith’s Bible Dictionary, Companion Bible, where each Book of the Bible is introduced, outlined and it’s structure is shown. Every page of the text has a parallel column jammed packed with explanatory notes.
Many of the Old Testament notes are based upon Ginzberg’s *MASSORAH*(small writings in the margins of the Hebrew texts)…and it also has a 198 Appendixes as well…just to name a few. The *MASSORAH*…from the root masar…to deliver something into the hand of another, so as to commit it to his trust…is called “A Fence to the Scriptures,” because it…*LOCKED*…all words and letters in their places. It does not contain notes or comments as such, but facts and phenomena. It records the number of times the several letters occur in the various books of the Bible; the number of words, and the middle word; the number of verses, and the middle verse; the number of expressions and combinations of words, &c. All this, not from a perverted ingenuity, but for the set purpose of…*SAFEGUARDING*…the Sacred Text, and preventing the *LOSS* of misplacement of a *SINGLE* letter
          or word.

******That in itself, comforts me, Billy, in knowing that we are truly indeed getting God’s Word, the way it is meant to be delivered to us…though *nothing* in this World, comforts me, better…than *the* COMFORTER…Himself. I’m glad that HE did *not* leave us wanting. We are truly *blessed*!
Hope this helps you, in the way forward.

May GOD / CHRIST continue to bless, lead, guide, direct, touch and comfort…all those who diligently seek, love and serve HIM!

    • Billy, this is more truth I’m sure you do not want to hear. You are confused about God’s plan, in fact you clearly have no understanding of God’s plan. God does hate satan, there is no room for doubt. Don’t go all God loves everybody on us, that is simply not true. Sounds to me like you have a lack of knowledge and faith, instead you are heaped in the traditions of men, which is another way of saying you believe lies if you believe anything at all. You have quite a bit to learn so keep reading and try to withhold judgement until you gain some knowledge and wisdom. Every time you tell a lie God holds it against you even if you don’t know you are lying. God may very well forgive you, that is up to him, but If I were you I would not go around telling people what you wrote here, it is a shameful disgrace for someone who supposedly read God’s letter to us.

    • Hi Billy, here’s some food for thought, in these scriptures GOD in his own words tells us all about Satan
and what transpired in the first earth age and what he Satan did to be turned to ashes from within, he had every opportunity to repent and did not. I hope this will give you a better understanding there is no love between GOD and Satan. Satan in these verses is called Tyrus.

Eze 28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
Eze 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
Eze 28:4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
Eze 28:5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
      Eze 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
Eze 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Eze 28:10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Eze 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
Eze 28:20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Eze 28:21 Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
